So I caved and bought the Rift in Time package - I had levelled all my friends to 10 and had NO quests at all. I was getting kind of bored with it - I know I could spend hours decorating but the appeal for me is the quests.... How is everybody else doing? Agree. It’s all about the quests for me too. I sucked at decorating ACNH and I suck at this too. But the quests…I haven’t bought the Rift yet but it’s coming. |

I only decorate when it's required for a quest. Leave it a couple of days and then remove it. I still don't have Eric and still need a few level 10s. I'm working on Scar at the moment so I can finish the Forgotten Relic quest.
I got Rift for Christmas from my ODS. It is fun and I have unlocked maybe all but one biome.

I'm impatiently waiting for the update and new star path event. I suck at decorating too but I try. I think we should start finding a way and plan to visit each other. I'm not sure how that all works.

Well, I think I played too hard. I have finished the game, including Rift in Time, to include getting the rainbow fox and all the "secret" quests. I even did the bonus Wally and Ursula quests. Now I guess I have to just wander aimlessly until they drop new characters? I really don't feel like mining forever to make decorations. Sigh.

Yay!! I have to admit - I was getting a little bored with Rift in Time - with only 3 characters and I've upgraded the hourglass to Level 3 - the only fun things have been playing Scramblecoin and gathering more mist....

It's live!! It would have been a great day for me to open and play this afternoon. Head guy is leaving at noon and I could check things out. However, I have a monthly newsletter to get out and today is my crunch day. I did not plan my time well Monday and Tuesday. Same - I had a chamber of commerce breakfast then I had to go feed dd’s cat since she is away….came home and baked cookies for my event tomorrow and now I’m at the hair salon. When I’m done I have to flood the cookies so they are dry to print on tomorrow so I can bag them for my event and then I have a night with some friends planned - it may be the weekend before I can play!! |

Don't fret too much, it's not as huge of a release as Rift + a Starlight path. Mike & Sulley are not very time consuming to get out of their realm, but should be good to level up. I think you get 45 days for the Star Path, so it could be any other bugs they find today could be patched before you guys venture in this weekend.  |

Indont remember ifbi had to pay a buy-in or not. I see we have to pay 2500 moonstones for the premium rewards. Just let me know if this is new or always been there. Thanks!!

Yes, they offered it before this Star Path. Essentially, it's only "worth it" if you like the items and you KNOW you will complete the Star Path in full. After it's all said and done, you're only "down" ~500 Moonstones (based on prior Star Path per Reddit) but you've collected all of the items. You can earn back your 500 just by finding your Moonstone treasure box each day for 10 days or participating in DreamSnaps each week - even if you only vote. As a Collector(tm), I always unlock the premium so I have everything. |

I always forget about voting and earning moonstones. Also, I don't always look for the blue chest. If I stumble across it, I always open it. But to just run about in the valley, I don't do that. I need to. Does anyone else ever find more than one blue chest a day? I don't usually in the Valley but I have found more than 1 a day on Eternity Isle. I just assume it's one I didn't find before. But then why don't I find extras in the valley.
One day, I will get brave and enter a Dreamsnaps. This week seems like it would be an easyish one to do. So maybe I'll dip my toe in that way.
I did play a bit yesterday. I finally got to finish the glitched Bibbidi-Bobbidy-Oops. The update got the patch done so I could finally get Remy's espresso machine in place. Now if anyone could tell me how to move Olaf's blanket from the same quest. I found it just on the other side of the bridge on Dazzle Beach. I can't do the furniture move thing at all. So I have to skirt around it just right. I haven't tried moving it since the update. Maybe that was one of the fixes. I'll wait until this weekend to get Sully and Mike.

It is a special event where you can earn event coins doing special duties. With those "coins" you can buy extra moonstone and special items. Most of the things you have to do, you do anyway during the day. There are some special ones. I'll link below what all you need to do. It is a timed event. This one last 47 days. I guess 46 now. I think it's a glitch regarding the chests, honestly. I haven't logged in except to do my DreamSnaps, but yesterday when I was running around I found multiple blue chests in areas. I don't think there's a rhyme or reason... if they're supposed to spawn regardless of if you log in or not, they seem to disappear at some point, too. RE: DreamSnaps - Sleepingbooty would be ashamed of my DreamSnap submissions after seeing her gorgeous shots. When I'm only logging into get the Moonstones for the DS, I just plop crap down and snap it. It's absolutely horrible!! >.< Naby, I've seen what you can do with decorating and you'll do just fine. Jump in, lady! Get those extra prizes! |

I've been checking what it is every week and entering - sometimes it's just an outfit vs a whole decor thing. But it is definitely a great way to up your moonstones! |

Don't be like me when it comes to completing the 20 Bass challenges. I'd only fish in the bubble areas and it would take FOREVER to complete... just go fish in a non-bubble, fresh water location. You'll get Bass or seaweed, that's it. /facepalm

Ok I saw a tip on TikTok - if you haven’t yet - go to the monsters realm and search all the desk filing cabinets for the key card pieces. Go back to the valley and assemble at a table. Then go back and use the key card on the last door space - you’ll get super cute monster eye ears!

This is my first Easter with the game. I didn't know what that new pink bush was that was just there when I opened the game today. I then realized what it was. This runs through April 17.

How is everybody doing?
I finished the Monsters star path, and have gotten Sully & Mike to level 10.
I need to spend some time at Eternity Isle and get those three up to 10 as well - I’ve been avoiding it lol.
And I’ve gotten a bit hooked on decorating - I’ve turned half of the Sunlit area into a garden after I saw somebody on FB post theirs. All my trees and berry bushes and a plot for all the seeds. I have a small chest at each item for storage of each one and for storing seeds so I can easily plant.
Making the chests has been a pain - I’m sorry I sold off stone lol. Frustrated I can only buy 20 when they land in Kristof’s stall.
I bought the bakery and a have it set up next to Remi’s restaurant for now. Slowly decorating the inside - I’d been ignoring things in the shop and of course now I’m realizing I really need to buy so I can buy more of them from Scrooge.
Still enjoying play! Wondering if the Wall-E extra bonus is worth buying?
