I didn't craft along at all; my schedule was messed up and I wasn't able to access most of the lives either, until after they were done. Facebook is glitchy for me. So glad they are switching to youtubes

In case any of y'all are interested, Pinkfresh had a release today and they included the lantern set as part of it. They added a foil plate, if you want one to go with what you already have (the discount code doesn't apply to the new release, fyi). It also sounds like they are transitioning away from foil plates and toward press plates, since the press plates foil so well and are more dual-purpose.

I hate facebook, so that was a big deterrent for me signing up for classes. (It doesn’t help that I’m super picky about products and don’t want to buy without being able to see everything (I was really disappointed with a couple of Simon Says warehouse boxes)). Anyway, huge yay for PFS switching to youtube!

pinklady,I think the lantern set was released today, so there should be more inspiration. They used the hummingbird from last February (also released today) with it on one card.

PM me if you would like me to cut you a few sets of the butterflies. I'm assuming this washi has about as much on it as their others, so there should be about 40 sets of butterflies on a roll. I can spare a few for you.

Oh my goodness. This was such a fun event. I did all the classes but Jennifer McGuires and I didn't see the video up for it yesterday, so hopefully I can get to that one tomorrow. Still have the make and takes to do as well. All in all, for me it was money well spent. I have lots of inspiration for these new sets and can't wait to play more.

I might be the minority, but since Christmas my new crafty crush has been Spellbinders, so I couldn't be more thrilled about the collab. I will definitely be signing up for the hot foil class and the other two card classes. Now I just need to decide about Crop & Create, but I think I might be in for that as well.

You are not the only one. I love Spellbinders too. I am just not a fan of their super intricate dies. They take forever for me and I don't think I have that much patience. But other than that I love their products.

Here's the thing - when you're just starting out is when you most need the goodies. And I think most of the other people in the thread were a part of the event and already have the butterflies So if you pm me your address, I'll get some on the way.

Also, PinkFresh has already pretty much said that they will probably release most of the items from the event as regular stock eventually, so I can get more of the washi then if I really think I need it.

Last two for now:

I just was looking through my seasons stash and I have really cool moth layering dies from Spellbinders to use with the lanterns instead of trying to find a butterfly that could stand in.

The Breezy Blossoms are on their way to me; I might do Jennifer's cards with those instead of the berries.

Does anybody know if we agreed to not resell until they were released? I don't remember seeing anything like that, but I noticed someone posted a set from last spring's C&C this week after it was part of the February release. Might have been coincidence, but....
