While I love many of the designs I don’t love the sheen to their papers. I may still get a few, but not nearly as many as I would have if they were matte.

After looking through all of these I realized there weren’t any cardstock selections below the collection. Is there a rhyme or reason why some have them and some don’t @ ACOT?

Enchanting Christmas - those papers are beautiful! I wouldn't get any use out of them, but wow I love them.
The Rainbow Twirl papers are also beautiful.

Rainbow Wood reminds me of a pea who makes wooden stars.
Tye Christmas lines are very Basic Grey. Not into distressed style but the red and green striped paper is cool.

I kind of like the Christmas collections, especially the purple Santa in Enchanting Christmas. Not a fan of shiny paper but I do like some of the b-side patterns...

Those Christmas lines are beautiful; I esp. like the wood pp-s. I don't think I've ever bought anything from this company; if their lines are on shiny paper like dewryce mentioned I might have to pass however. Thanks for showing us PaperAngel.

Never expected to love these! Most of the lines have a paper or two that would be "must haves". They've managed to make a level of grunginess combined with colour that I can get behind. Keeping an eye out for them now - tfs!

I also wonder about the cardstock recommendations. Perhaps some manufacturers, particularly those offering cardstock, provide retailers with coordinating colors for their own brands (e.g. American Crafts/Bazzill, Photoplay/My Color). Otherwise, I imagine ACOT either digitally or physically comprises the list from existing cardstock inventory once products are in stock (vs digital release images for pre-orders) for its best selling brands/themes/other criteria. Perhaps Matt at ACOT will provide insight.

Perhaps Matt at ACOT will provide insight. Yes, that's essentially how it works. Some manufacturers have their own cardstock or provide matching colors (notably AC, since they have their own line and also own Bazzill), but otherwise it's a "grab the swatch book and compare when we have time" sort of thing. This time of year is particularly busy so we haven't had a chance to update these yet, but I'll definitely pass along that there's interest. I know this is something a lot of people look for - I'm hoping to have a more reliable system in place soon.

Hey Matt at ACOT...while you are here...thisCanadian peas would love to shop with you if you could fix your shipping rates a bit? Sbook.com would send me 29 sheets of pp for 7.99 shipping, but your shipping is 29.95 for the same 29 sheets of paper! I know shipping is expensive, but why the difference? I'd love to support you, but I simply cannot

Thanks! I remember 49 & Market had them for the collections I purchased, with a couple of different cardstock brands. I liked having the options and it introduced me to new-to-me cardstock!

I'd love to support you, but I simply cannot It's a great question. I'm not sure how they ship international but most likely they're subsidizing the cost. We do offer a $10-$20 discount on international shipping with promo code ACOTSHIP - I think that would get you closer in a lot of cases. I'll look at that a little more closely when we refresh our shipping code for next year and see if we can do better. We don't have any plans set in stone (or even in motion) yet, but we are looking to change up our shipping process a bit at some point in the next year or so and easier international shipping with better rates is one of the priorities there. If you're willing I'd love if you could PM me with details on some of your orders you've purchased from US-based companies. I'd be interested to hear how they were shipped and rough weight/dimensions of the package.

I don’t like the Christmas color palettes, maybe a sheet, or two of Christmas Time. There are a couple sheets in the rainbow collections, but that’s about it.

Enchanting Christmas- Very pretty but none of my Christmas photos would go with it Merry Little Christmas- Nope Christmas Time- Nope again Rainbow Wood- Not really Rainbow Twirl - Love it! Rainbow Twirl 2.0 - Also love this one.
The papers are really slick, which drives me crazy. My cat tries to walk over them and falls down. The papers are really hard to work with because of this.
That being said, it is sometimes worth it because a lot of their paper is pretty and unique. NJFB Kit Club uses Paper Rose a lot, and I have a love/hate relationship with that paper.

I’m the lonely only here but I do like a lot of the Merry Little Christmas line. The mix of so many colors in the rainbow lines is too overwhelming for me.

... I don't like shiny papers. See this thread for a list of manufacturers/brands that offer papers with a glossy finish (& please feel free to add others, if applicable). HTH.

Thanks for your responses. I'm not the target audience, since I don't buy/use papers with a glossy finish or gravitate toward the vintage/faux-distressed/floral, watercolor, or rainbow aesthetics/trends. Nothing from this release is added to my wish list.
