I always enjoy a periodic beauty thread and discovering what peas are using and loving, so I'll start - share yours too! (And anything that you tried and didn't like too Skincare: - Biossance Lift & Bright Eye Cream - my eyes have gotten more sensitive in the last couple of years and lots of eye creams don't agree with me now. This one is really nice, hydrating and brightening but no irritation. - Caudalie Beauty Elixir spray - Going into the colder months, I'm loving this. I keep it on my desk and spritz it on my face a few times during the day. It seems to be adding some extra hydration and it just gives a nice, subtle glow. - (body skincare) Necessaire - I've been resisting this brand for a long time because I was afraid I'd love it (several friends rave about it). I bought the travel set and damnit, I love it all. So I bought full sizes of the body lotion, body retinol, and body serum. THEY ARE SO GOOD. My skin feels so great. - Still loving the Pillowtalk Derm moisturizer and serum. - Lightsaver sunscreen is FABULOUS. The texture is amazing, I love everything about it. Hair: - Coco and Eve Like a Virgin - the shampoo, conditioner, Miracle Hair Elixir (a magic multipurpose serum - can be used as an overnight hydrating treatment - SO MUCH BETTER than the amika one; it can also be used as a heat protectant and a finishing "oil"), and hair mask. They're all great. My hair is so soft and hydrated, the frizz on my curls I've always dealt with is dramatically diminished, I just love it all around. Makeup: - I continue to love pretty much anything from Merit. Their new individual cream eyeshadows are really nice and great for travel. - Kosas Wet Stick sheer lipsticks are super nice. Matte lipsticks are not for me, I like some shine. These feel great on and come in a nice array of colors. I really like Hot Beach, Bikini Blaze, and Tropic Bliss. - Tower 28 mascara - it's volumizing and lengthening but not over the top. I really like the brush. - Tower 28 concealer - so nice. Hydrating and no creases, enough coverage but not so much your skin doesn't still look like skin. Misses: - Bumble and bumble Seaweed Air Dry styling cream - This did nothing for me. Didn't control frizz, give give any control, just blah. - amika Dream Routine overnight hair mask - Underwhelming. I didn't notice any benefit and for its price, it should do something.

I used my Armani foundation which is almost gone. I was 100% pleased with my look with it and it’s as good as laMer but not laMer’s prices. I think I will buy it again in the new year.
I am sing some Verb conditioner and like it but it’s not quite moisturizing enough. I need to use more I think.

I have been venturing more into masks and eye patches lately. As much as I resisted, the Clarins V-Facial Instant Depuffing Face Mask and their new Cryo-Flash Instant Lift Effect & Glow Boosting Face Mask really do work. Pricey but it lasts a long time since it's not an every day sort of mask. The BioAqua Eye Masks that Amazon carries really do tame the puffy under eye area for me. The fit is horrible (supposed to do the upper/lower eye at once but I cut them in half and just do the lower. Leave them on until the patches dry out and puffiness is gone. Still loving the Pillowtalk Derm moisturizer and serum. I have been using this since it first came out and love it. Between using this daily and the Rx treatment my dermatologist has me using I am really seeing a difference in the sun spots and melasma on my face, especially my cheeks. Looking for a new eye cream so will have to give the Bioessance a try. Also interested in the Tower 28 mascara.

I’ve been using a prescription for sun damage for over a year and while my sun spots were improving, the prescription plus the Pillowtalk Derm products has made a much bigger difference.

I'm loving my Skinbae brush. It applies and blends foundation so well. I was gifted a tarte marajuca juicy lip set, and I'm really liking them!
I've been using the Tula Instant Eye De-Puff, but I've started seeing some milia under my eyes, so I'm going to back off from using this product. Fortunately, I have some Ocusoft wipes, and I can already see an improvement.

I’ve been doing k-18 treatments. LOVE! It’s a leave-in treatment and I’ve done it every wash for the past 6. Now I can go once a week. It’s a little expensive for a small pump but if you have fine, thin hair…it’s a miracle worker.

E.L.F Halo Glow contour beauty wand and blush beauty wand, and the Halo Glow liquid filter. Finally, contour that is the right shade and depth for my fair skin. The liquid filter is a very light highlighter that gives a little pop without looking too shiny. Does wonders for my slightly sunken under-eye area.
Kitsch shampoo and conditioner bars - rice water protein. Great for my dry, fine, thin hair. Nourishing without weighing the hair down. No plastic waste.

but I've started seeing some milia under my eyes, I'd been having the milia issue as well and started using the Peace Out Retinol Eye Stick every night at bedtime. It took about a month to see any improvement but it got rid of most of it. Then I ran out and didn't replace it for a couple of months and the milia started to return. Now I'm back to using nightly. I have very sensitive skin and it doesn't bother me at all.

I use It's a 10 plus Keratin. It's a leave in conditioning spray and it makes my hair so smooth and I have really fine, thinning, frizz. FYI, the cheapest place to buy it is TJ Maxx if they still have it. You can get it at Ulta, Target, etc.

busy have you used the depuffer by Pillowtalkderm? I have been thinking of trying that but am wondering if I can use it on my upper eyelids for depuffing, or is it just good for the under eyes?

It’s not a “product” but I just did another limelight facial at my dermatologist- it’s similar to IPL and greatly reduces redness and brown spots - plus improves texture and collagen. Most of my friends do microneedling and sculptra. I don’t need sculptra but will probably try microneedling this year.
Products - I bought on Amazon Black Friday a serum and red light wand to use daily - I like the way it feels and my derm said she does believe they work, so fingers crossed lol.
Makeup products - no new ones I’m still with my tried and true. My hair is so dry I’ll be looking at the suggestions here….

I've talked about this product before. My once naturally curly, pretty thick hair is now pretty straight and getting thinner by the day. My stylist suggested Revlon Rewind. It comes in a blue jar and lasts forever. After I style my hair, I put a small amount on my palm and rub my hands together until it gets tacky. Then I *blot* it all over my hair and finger style. I have very short hair so I'm not sure how it does on long hair. I haven't had to use hair spray since I started using it about 6 months or so ago. When I wake up, I just lightly brush my hair and finger style it and I'm ready to go. I wash my hair about every 4 days now.
ETA: Ha, my memory isn't what it used to be! The jar is black and the name is Revlon Rewind 06

Kitsch shampoo and conditioner bars - rice water protein. Great for my dry, fine, thin hair. Nourishing without weighing the hair down. No plastic waste. I have been wanting to try these. I think I will add them to my cart now. I got sucked in by an Insta ad for a makeup line called OGEE. I have had the hardest time finding a foundation that isn't cakey and doesn't settle into my lines. I used to use Bare Minerals but they discontinued the foundation I loved and I have been on hunt ever since. So far I am loving this one from OGEE. I think my skin texture is looking better too. I started with the complexion stick and I have the contour set coming to me today. I'm anxious to try them as well. It is pricey, but so far I think it is worth it.

Post-chemo my hair was growing in, but is thinner than it used to be. I started using some minoxidil by Nioxin. It def helped around my hairline with the baby hairs and I can tell if I miss too many days, it seems like it thins again. I haven't been happy with any products post-treatment, so decided to try the Nioxin shampoo/conditioner and it has really helped with rapid hair growth. I was surprised, but have received comments from all different ppl about how long my hair is now. I was using it as a way to improve breakage and fallout, but I think it's also helping with growth.
I also got a Denman brush which has helped with my naturally wavy texture.

I second the Caudalie Beauty Elixir spray --- it's good.
I am loving:
Summer Fridays Butter Balm -- much needed moisture for my lips + a hint of color
Alpyn Beauty -- Wild Nettle & Niacinamide Instant Firming Serum & their under eye cream
Path McGrath Glow Balm -- just enough color on my cheeks without looking like too much

I tried it and it irritated my eyes. But my eyes are super sensitive these days, so I wouldn't take that as a problem with the product. It can be used on upper eyelids and undereyes.

I needed new mascara because my standby Benefit They’re Real is flaking so bad. I even bought a new tube so they must have changed something. I got Lancôme lash Idole. No flaking and it’s not clumpy at all so far.
I also started using Hourglass Veil mineral sunscreen and primer. It’s serum like. I mix it with the hourglass foundation.
I’ve also been using Jones Road Miracle Balms. I’m still adjusting because it’s a cream blush or highlighter. I’m used to powders.
I love Tarte Maracuja lip gloss and plumpers. I stock up every sale.
I’m starting with milia under my eyes too. My derm says meticulous extraction is the only way to get rid of them. I’m going to try the eye roller mentioned. [
I also really like Peter Thomas Roth waterdrench cloud cream. It’s not greasy just a nice texture for dryness. Some of their other products aren’t that great. I love these threads!

bathhousesoap.com/products/peppermint-rosemary-bombI love how this makes my skin feel. Helps with sinuses too. I love their bath bombs. Other than shipping being slow on their end (ordered Friday, shipped Tuesday), it's worth it. Their lip balm is great too. (I know I promote them a lot. I swear I don't get anything for it, they are just the only local place that ships that I am aware of that sells this kind of stuff. There's others I love too but can't order online and only in Central AR).

I got Lancôme lash Idole. I switched to this a couple of years ago and like it. Recently I started using Lancome Cils Booster XL Lash & Mascara Primer under the Lash Idole and love the results. Bonus is that the primer is also a conditioner for your lashes. Mine are looking so much better now.

I’m starting with milia under my eyes too. My derm says meticulous extraction is the only way to get rid of them. Did the derm give you any ideas of cost? I assume it would be covered by insurance. I have a lot on my forehead. I don't think it is noticable by anyone but me but I hate it.

It’s a little expensive for a small pump but if you have fine, thin hair…it’s a miracle worker. I first tried the K18 Leave-In Repair Hair Mask about 9 months ago because I was desperate to fix my hair. I'm letting my gray grow out and I'd gotten some gray blending highlights at a salon that somehow left my thick hair badly damaged, feeling and looking like very coarse straw. This stuff is very expensive! I bought a tiny bottle -- 1/2 an oz for $29! I was skeptical but followed did a little digging and followed the instructions. I did use a clarifying shampoo first. And you just shampoo, you don't use conditioner when using it. You use a small amount, activate it with your hands and then apply root to tip. I found that combing my hair before applying made this easier. Then leave it on for 4 minutes before adding your leave-in conditioners, styling products, etc. They say to use it for 6 consecutive washes. I don't wash my hair every day so this was over the course of a few weeks. After 5 my hair was starting to look better. It's SO MUCH BETTER now. I still use it 1-2 times a month. Expensive, but for me it was worth it.

I use their body wash and it smells wonderful, too/ I had the lavender with my first bottle and I'm using the shea butter and argan oil now. and how I fill-in my brows This is one of my "desert island" products. I always had thin light brows and aging has just about obliterated them. I like the fact that I can use a light touch with this pencil and keep it very natural looking.
