I bought a pair of Tim Holtz non-stick scissors to use for cutting red line tape in the hopes that they wouldn't get all gummed up, but of course they did.
Is there anything I can do to get the glue from the tape off the the blades? I tried rubbing it off with minimal success. The scissors are basically unusable now.
Is there a non-stick brand that does work? What are you all using for cutting red line tape?

I usually use plain old isopropyl alcohol (I happen to have 91%, but 70% would work, too). Other things that should do the trick include an adhesive eraser (they sell them at dollar tree) and Undo or Goo-gone. Undo and Goo-gone the most expensive of the lot, so if you have one of the other options, I would start with one of those first.

I use Eucalyptus oil to clean mine with the bonus that my scissors smell nice afterwards.

I use alcohol wipes, like the ones you would use to prep the skin for a shot. That works really well and they're not very expensive. Or, isopropyl alcohol would work as well.

Undo is my usual go to. I always have some in my stash for when I need to pull up photos, so I put some on a cotton ball and wipe my scissors down.

Ah, the Peas are so smart! Thank you! I don't know why I didn't think of Undo or alcohol wipes, but I'm going to try those - I have both in the house!
Thanks all!
