Sixteen years is a very long time. Think about what a wonderful life you gave him in all that time. Doesn't make it any easier though. I know.... we had our 15-year-old girl euthanized two years ago and I still miss her every day.

I’m so sorry. It does feel like we are betraying them. We do all we can to keep them healthy their entire lives - so this feels antithetical to that. But you gave your baby the final gift - a pain free end. Please know I’m thinking of you.
