Two cards to share - the first is something I wanted to try based on a tag made by Alicia "Call Me Crafty Al" (the Sheetload crafter). I'm sure one of the 2nd graders will have a January birthday. More practice needed. The second uses a stencil I cut on the Cricut. I told my husband and daughter I wanted "blending brushes" for Christmas. Bless their hearts, they tried, but I got paintbrushes like for watercolor. I got actual blending brushes with a Michael's reward voucher. No worries, I'll use the watercolor brushes for watercolor some day soon. My pen pals in the care home both have COVID! Poor darlings.

WTG pantsonfire. Good mix of photos and interesting cards. Is that top card a logo for the event?

WTG pantsonfire. Good mix of photos and interesting cards. Is that top card a logo for the event? No it is a card from SC travel set. So then I added the title.

This is my first page of 2024. I don't know what challenges it checked off yet, and it's pretty simple, but it's done. Hopefully I remember how to post a layout on here... birthday45 by BreetheFlea, on Flickr

This morning I finished a LO I started yesterday, and then another one. Trying to get all the holiday themed photos scrapped this month so I can put away all the holiday related scrappy STUFF that is piled up all over my scraproom. Either it goes onto a page or it gets stuffed back into the corner cabinet where it will live until next October when I start making cards. Used Paige Evans Sugarplum Wishes for this one: Be Merry by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Simple Stories BoHo Christmas for this: POINTS: Four 12x12 pages (80), created & shared (8). Ten photos scrapped for Donna challenge (10). P-2 new Christmas papers, P-11 all PE on first, P-14 glittery dots, S/I-11 trees and presents, S/I-12 banner greeting, T-19 torn pp, Th-1 Merry theme. Total: 105

This is a super simple layout for my family history album - focus is on the journalling. I've also printed out my sources for the journalling and will tuck behind the layout in the album. DH's 5th great grandparents

Linda, I don't see this as a "simple layout". All that research, lovingly summarized and written here for future generations to see... amazing!

Wow, you all jumped right into the new year! Or carried on from the last... I'm still emerging from zombie mode but it's great to see so many cool pages and cards here already. I'm working on a photobook which is always difficult to share. So far it's proving difficult in every way! I want to get the bones of it laid out and then I can start working on the details. Here's one page I managed to design with some actual scrapbooky elements. It's 5x8" - sorry you can't really see the edges. (They were mostly good movies, btw. Weird was great! recommend The Lost King too.) movies on planes by jo.blackford, on Flickr

Good job, joblackford, getting crafty so soon after jet lag! I love that you documented the movies you watched in transit to and from your vacation, and the film strips are a perfect way to display them. Great start on your book.
I might be back in the groove. One page (for the Jan 06 Sketchy Saturday) yesterday morning and it’s partner this morning. I could not wait to play with the Simply Stated Design papers and diecuts I received as a gift from justjac on Friday and the photos I printed the same day.

P-12 several lines, P-16 ribbon, T-15 sketch, T-17 stretched, W/T-10 lots of fonts. Total: 113

linda I love your page for the family history album. It's the kind of page I aspire to do, the journaling/facts that will be lost after this generation. I also love your lego layouts-perfect layouts for the photos! joblackford I love your movie layout! I am starting a media journal this year and I think that looks so fun!

What a fun layout grammadee -love the envelopes and those great photos! I got two layouts done this morning - not as much as I hoped especially since the first only needed me to cut and glue the train die cut but the second had a major nuvo drop disaster and had to be reworked. They are both for my 2013 Atlanta trip album
