I just finished my 2023 WITL. Yay!! He was a bit of a monster- very chunky. I’m really happy with how it turned out and done before 2024 WITL will start. Congrats on finishing! I love that feeling when an album is completed. Feel free to post WITL stuff here, I don't do that project but I do like seeing what everyone does and hearing about it.

I am at a three day crop this weekend. Finally finishing up 2023 and going to hopefully get January 2024 done as well.

Slowly but surely working on my 2024 album. Done with week 4 today! So much easier than a traditional album! I still am not even close to finishing my 2023 album. I need to remind myself that I enjoy PL and keep up with it.

January is done. It is 9 pages. Birthday months are always bigger. My daughter had a big birthday party so that took 2 pages. You only turn 7 once. I'm so happy to be started.

Would love to see some other layouts from the Peas! I'm hoping to do something today, and if I do I'll share it. 🤞🏻

I need to get my behind up and scrapbooking. My computer is acting up so I restarted it and then just came up and laid on the couch.

I love how you use the kits. I hope you can dodge it! Hope your daughter feels better quickly. Thank you! She's pretty much fine. Fingers crossed for me.

I'm finished with January 2024 pocket pages (there are some 12x12s I still need to make.) I'm spending any extra time this month getting caught up on 2023. Then I'll work on February in March once I know what photos I've taken and which stories I want to tell.

These are awesome. Are you going to put them in a book? Like have it printed?

I finished my January PL yesterday...so happy to have it done. I ended up with one divided 12x12 page protector (double sided) and 2 divided 6x8s. I had a weird configuration of photos this month so it was a bit of a mash up of using what I had. Also, in keeping with the spirit of using what I have in my stash, I used some old Simple Stories from 2014 to do the spread. I had it out for another layout, so I decided to just grab what was on my desk. I wasn't in love with it initially, but it has grown on me and most importantly, it is done

paget blemon burnbright your pages are fabulous! TFS. I really wanted to pare mine back this year, to look a bit classier like all of yours, but instead I went down the "too many embellishments" road again. Maybe next year....

I actually want to use more embellishments but I have been taking a lot of photos. I love filler cards and layering stuff. I think as the year goes on, there will be fewer photos of the cats (ha!).

I got an email from Blurb saying come back and get 40% off by March 7th. So now I have financial motivation to get Dec 2023 done.
4 pages are done. It will probably take 7 or 8 more pages to finish.

I love this so much. I love that you made a pocket with the xo vellum. I love how you used the card with the floral frame. I was really stumped with that. And I love that you used the quote card for the date. That is something I want to work on. I just stuck the card in the pocket. If I could be better with how I incorporate the date, I could have another photo. Thanks for sharing!

blemon oh sorry about Covid! Ugh. I really like how you layered the vellum days of the week card over the patterned paper. There’s so many vellum pieces to use and that is a great easy but effective solution!

A question:
What do you do when you have a week/month that is just nothing? I had intended to do a month-in-review pocket page for each month in 2024, but I have literally one entry for all of February. Last month was such a low key month, with anything notable being "bad" things rather than "good". Not something I want to necessarily document, and certainly not a 12x12 double sided pocket page dedicated to it. I'm using an SCT class so the base of the pocket page layouts are done - I just add photos and whatever embellishments/journaling.
My instinct is to do nothing, but I don't like the idea of having nothing for Feb. What would you do? Skip February all together? Try to cobble together something/anything? Another idea?

What do you do when you have a week/month that is just nothing? Maybe use shows that you watched or memes that you thought were funny or the weather or screen shots of news? Those are the things I go to when I don't have much to add to my weekly spreads. Or maybe make a card with some of the food you ate during the week?
