Investigate hotels for Copenhagen/Stockholm - ongoing When are you going? We'll be there in mid-May. My DD is going to take a summer session with DIS Copenhagen, she is minoring in Global Terrorism Studies. The class is June 16-June 5, but I asked if she would be interested in heading over the week before. My friend from college is Swedish and lives near Stokholm. I haven't been there since her wedding in 2009, I think. DD liked this idea, so we are going over on June 9. We are flying into Copenhagen (long story but we had a credit that had to be used and it was more expensive to fly into Stokholm and out of Copenhagen) so I was thinking we'd head up to Stockholm via train spend at least 2 days there, and then back down to Copenhagen and spend the next 3 days in that city. Then I head back and she'll stay. I figured she'd be well past jet lag and ready to rock, plus to see my friend and Stockholm, we are excited. I just don't know if we will stay with my friend in Sweden (it is her kids last week of school, so it might just be too much) and where DD will be living in Copenhagen, but it really probably doesn't matter - I think her group meets kids at the airport, so she could even come with me when I leave and meet the group there... We haven't really discussed that much... I'd love to know! where are you staying???

1. Survive 3rd grade today (and where I'll be spending the week). (which is actually my favorite grade, but wow the behaviors lately) 2. Try making corned beef hash, which I've never made before. 3. Research hiring a professional organizer to help with my parents' paperwork stuff. 4. Play my favorite online game. 5. Read today's chapters of my online book group's group read. Notice that #3, #4, and #5 can all be done from my comfy chair in my PJs, which is where I'll be shortly after finishing #1 and #2. haha

Wednesday: 1. set all "e-care" stuff out on my porch for the guy who will pick it up today (several times a year my county sets up a large drop-off point for things we're not supposed to put in regular trash -- paint, cleaning products, old computers, fire extinguishers, those CFC bulbs, etc. etc.... There's a guy in my neighborhood who offers to pick stuff up from anyone in exchange for us making a donation to our neighborhood-owned park and community center. A win-win for all of us because I sure don't want to driving to the drop-off site, wait in line, etc.) DONE (the "putting it outside" part is done, the guy will pick up while I'm at school)2. survive 3rd grade DONE, but barely. And it's only Wednesday. omg3. gather up trash and recycling from the house, bring cans to the curb for tomorrow's pickup. DONE4. do yesterday's dishes which are all still in the sink -- it's just me for a couple of weeks so it's not a lot of dishes, but still... DONE5. get in cozy PJs and pour a glass of wine PJs on, wine in progress!

Sunday. Lazy day today because I'm off all next week for spring break. So I don't have to knock myself out too much today. 1. Walk to CVS to buy a birthday card for the mom of a friend. (this accomplishes two things, a walk and buying the card). DONE2. Do dishes. DONE3. Fold laundry that's in the dryer. 4. Do the community egg hunt in the online game that I play. 5. Read.
