5 things I want to accomplish today

3/24
1. Make grocery order for pickup
2. Walk
3. Pickup grocery order
4. Pay some bills
5. Read

I totally failed with yesterday's list. hahaha But, it was Sunday and I wasn't working, so...

Today:

1. Drive to a different Costco in search of a fabulous soup I discovered at my Costco, which of course my Costco didn't have when I went to buy more on Saturday.  My regular Costco is 5 minutes, the one I'm driving to is 30 minutes. ugh. But this soup is worth it. DONE came back with FIVE boxes of it. Four will go straight in the freezer, one we'll eat later this week. 

2. Take a walk. DONE

3. Fold laundry that is *still* in the dryer. It's just sheets and towels so I'm not worried about wrinkles. DONE

4. Post more stuff on Buy Nothing. nope

5. Read. on-going

It's Kevin's Thai Style Coconut Chicken soup. I bought some at Pentagon City a couple of weeks ago and ate it during the week when my dh was traveling. It was SO good that I went back this weekend to buy more, so dh could try it and I could put some in the freezer. But nope. sigh. So I asked in the DMV Costco group and discovered that Fairfax had it. It's a trek out there but this soup is worth it! 

I have fallen off the wagon....

I keep reviving a couple of things that haven't gotten done from my previous lists. But today is the day!

1. take a walk NOPE, because of the rain

2. post stuff on Buy Nothing some done

3. work some more in dd's room (clearing out the closet mostly) DONE

4. do some actual Spanish studying, not just my ordinary Duolingo lessons a little bit

5. mail birthday card, and four Postcrossing cards NO, because of the rain

1. Put stuff on marketplace
2. Look up my mom's 1st marriage certificate for her driver's license problem (what a mess) Well my sweet mamma doing her best, lost her driver's license while trying to update her license.  lol.  She had to update her license so that it could be used for flying.  With my sister sick, mom didn't want to be caught not being able to get to her.  So she is all prepared to change it and because when she was little back in the 1940s, apparently her name was spelled several different ways between her birth certificate and other documents, that sometimes it gets her in trouble.  Well it happened today. She was told to provide her original marriage certificate, which she has to order to provide to the DMV.  I went to order it from the state and in the payment section they ask for her DL number to protect her identity. She went to get it for me (I'm the one ordering) and now can't find it.  So she is on the hunt.  Oh mamma... 
3. think about what we are doing for Easter
4. continue to work on my newly rediscovered scrapping stuff
5. Probably should vacuum but probably won't. ha

I’ve never participated in this before—hope it’s ok if I just jump in

1) complete DD’s camp paperwork ✅
2) pick up and assemble kids’ easter baskets ✅
3) make sure the kids and my easter clothes are ready ✅
4) litterbox ✅
5) paint my nails ✅

There’s more—always more—but these are the minimum.
