I'm pretty sick of hearing how we took it out of context. I was watching when he said it. I remember thinking WHAT the HELL did he just say?? Even my husband, who was a Trump supporter, laughed and said, yea, that'll work. |

I’m old enough to have watched that entire press conference live on TV. He said what he said. When that whole "are you better off now than you were 4 years ago" thing popped up, this was one of the things I remembered watching on tv. When people ask us about 2020, similar to the 9/11 inquiries, this will always stick out for me. The "leader" of our country talking about injecting bleach into your body and then the subsequent increase in calls to Poison Control because PEOPLE FUCKING LISTENED. |
