Stamps of Life-yeah, not wild about the cards, but interested in some of the elements.
The dies on the front of the top left are an interesting shape. And the butterflies, looks like maybe dies(?), are cute. I like the flowers, maybe stamps and dies?
I just don't think I like all of it together. Would love the polka dots to be a stamp or a stencil, but most likely patterned paper.

I'm intrigued with the shape of the card on top left (and I don't like shaped cards!) and the happy die cut on the bottom left. It's just weird to me that the papers (backgrounds) don't match. The butterflies and stars in the top left. I could be happy with what looks like butterfly and flower dies.

Not crazy about the Stamps of Life, but the Spring die is cute. Hope they have other seasons in dies also.

I think the pink stars are supposed to be five-petal flowers. They look more attractive to me than the SoL cards for the event I attended did.

I was originally looking from a photo on my phone. (my old eyes!) But I still don't like the look of the two different shapes and colors. Maybe if the flowers were on a blue background like the butterflies....

Sneak Peek #5 Spellbinders I have decided I've had enough of the tiny piecing that is Spellbinders forte. I'll probably sit this one out, although that does look like a nice embossing folder in the left photos. ETA: the fangirling is starting to be over the top on Facebook! Jeepers, people... I'm grumpy today.

I'm sitting on your bench MDscrapaholic . The embossing folder looks very promising & the flower dies might be OK but the scissors & magnifying glass, nah. But I do appreciate a company trying something different and not the same old same old stuff. Hopefully the full reveal is more appealing.

Love the Spellbinders sneak (even though I am still miffed at SB and refuse to buy anything else from them yet). I like the look of the flowers and the embosing folder. Not a Kim Kesti fan, though, so may or may not make it thorugh the whole class. I'll just leave it at that.
I have purposefully not read many of the comments over there. I expected that the fangirling would be rampant. Sounds like they do not disappoint!
ETA: I did see that a big announcement is coming from them tomorrow about ink swatches, schedules, discounts, etc. They had said week of the 19th, but one of them commented that tomorrow is the day.

The Stamps of Life sneak peek isn't really my style. Hmm, I am not sure if I like the Spellbinders' one but I may like it better in person.

Did y'all download the supply list? I think I have everything, or substitutes (mostly inks) that will work. I won't be doing the classes live again. I'm a west coaster and it's just too dang early. I like my way of starting the first class as soon as it's over and continuing on.
And, can I just say that I hate when I accidentally click on one of the many time zone specific pdfs, or the labels sheets. Ugh! I wish I could stop auto downloads. Anyone FB savvy that knows how? I couldn't find anything using search.
I'm actually getting excited since we got the email yesterday.

GiantsFan When I first join any Facebook group, the first time I see a post in my timeline, I click on the 3 dots and choose unfollow but stay in the group. I have to go into the group to view the posts. I went there this morning and I can already see that I'm going to be annoyed by almost all of the posts until the unboxing event. I downloaded the supply list but haven't really read over it thoroughly. I did see that we will be getting a C9 watermelon ink cube in our kit. I'm happy because the cube I ordered is pretty dry and when I used the coupon from Summer Camp, the re-inker was out of stock.

I haven't been paying attention on FB so luckily I'm missing the fan-girling. I just went and looked at all of the sneaks - so far so good, very much what I expect from C&C in a good way.
Concord & 9th - very similar to past projects. I always love C&9. I'm happy to make birthday cards, I use those the most.
Honey Bee - so excited for this! I love their stuff, and the baking theme should be really fun. Pretty colours, too.
Gina K - exactly what I'd expect. It looks like she combined a bunch of techniques from past events into one. Her cards are very usable, I always find someone to send them to. Classic.
TE - the inks look splotchy. I have a few of her inks and they are very different from any other brand I have - really saturated and vibrant. I'm not sure of this colour combo, I may have to change it up, although I tend to stick to the sample the first time I make the projects.
The Stamps of Life - honesty, they're never my cup of tea, but people I know love them. I always end up using all of her cards that I make because they're such a crowd pleaser, but I normally wouldn't make these projects at all. I'm really happy that I decided to make every single project a few events ago because it has paid off - projects that I'd never really look at twice are some of the favourites of my family & friends. So, a win overall.
Spellbinders - I love the sneaks. I can see myself using the magnifying glass and scissors on scrapbook pages. I was one who loved the Weekender event, I've always been a Spellbinders super fan. Some of their flowers are among my favourite dies ever.
Excited for this event! I'm so glad I cleaned and reorganized my craft room so it will be all ready for September!

Not excited about the hero arts one. I am making a list of classes that are must dos and classes I am ok with not doing. I’m fine skipping this one.

There's a small discount on a bundle of the four reactive inks from Hero Arts - all 4 for $27. Link is on Facebook. Normal price is $7.99 each ($32).
When I went to Hero Arts to purchase, they charged me $8.99 for shipping. Not worth it to me, I'll use my Distress Oxides.
Went to Amazon to see if they had them - they do, at full price ($7.99), but only one color was eligible for free shipping - fruit punch. The other three - they asked for $4.50 or $4.99 shipping EACH. If they had all been free shipped I would have gotten them. Sorry HA, not interested. The discount code they gave us isn't good until September 20, which is not enough time for anything to reach me.

I'm finding it a hard to get excited right now about this upcoming event - not to yuck on anyone's yums! - but I think I'm about done with these C&CD events. They posted a photo of the book cover, and asked us to identify who is who. I'm simply seeing "same old same old." I like that PinkFresh is going to let us see what we get prior to purchasing - I wish other companies would do the same. (I probably would not have purchased the Spellbinder Weekender if I had seen it prior to purchase). And PF is also doing five different events. So I can pick and choose which one suits me best. I like that. Maybe it's the Covid talking. I know I'll be excited once the weekend gets here.

Which HA Reactive inks do you need? Reactive ink cubes were a common thing to put in MMH or the Joann kits, so I have duplicates of some.

I'll admit, the colors on the cover are not spectacular and don't thrill me but that's an easy fix. I'm guessing once my box gets here, I'll be more excited and ready to plan out my color combos, changes, etc. I'm not sure I can quit C&CD just yet. But I will say my excitement for The Stamp Market event the weekend before C&CD is causing me issues. I can't wait for the Pink Fresh event this weekend to be over so I can dive into my TSM box! Seriously! I have not been this excited for an event probably since I received my first C&CD box.

I am not real excited about the cover photos either. But loving some of the elements still.
Too many butterflies, IMO.
I can see how things could be same-same if you have done this one more than once.
This is my first C & C. You guys know my feelings about thenWeekender, lol. Still pretty excited about it at this point.

Oh, I'm excited about Lawn Fawn! I have A Creature is Stirring, and just love it, I've made the cutest Christmas cards with it! This will be a great set to pair with that, I think. I think I'm about to go through another Lawn Fawn phase, it happens every year or two and this just may trigger it!
The Hero Arts sneak is nice, I love leaves and fall colours. I hope there's more to it than just the stamps and dies I see in the sneak peek, though.
I see a bear with a party hat on the cover, trying to figure out what company that reminds me of.
