Oh wow, so we either get Tropical Tango or Clear Skies astro paste in class. Cool. I don't have any of those yet. Oh awesome, I really like the pastes. I'm planning on buying the neon lunar pastes with one of the coupons. I watched this video and bought the colors Kristina used. Mixing them was super easy. Hopefully this helps you decide on which to buy. 😁

The My Favorite Things peek is up. Love the color scheme and the sentiment stamps. So glad Libby is teaching!

My box arrives tomorrow! Wonder if I can hold out until they do the reveal? I’ve always been on team Peek.

Not really a fan of the Picket Fence peek but hopefully the full reveal will have usable products. That looks like a lot of coloring and that's not my jam.

Yeah, not a fan of Picket Fence. Sentiments are nice, though.

My box came! I was listening in on a meeting when the box was delivered. I opened it, pulled out the book & flipped thru it and glanced at the bagged contents. So I'm going to be completely honest...I was disappointed. So I set it aside and went back to my meeting. Now my meeting is over so I pulled out each bag and started going thru the class packages. Holy Smokes, I've totally changed my mind. Everything is phenomenal! Of the 16 classes, there are only 2 that I likely won't complete. So my advice, don't let first impressions be your only impression. PS, the box is HUGE.

I am 83% happy with the box. There are always going to be things that aren't my style, but for the most part, I can make the cards that I like with each of the class supplies that I have received. I have one gripe. I won't go into details without a spoiler so I don't spoil anything who doesn't want to know, but if a significant and specific item for a card is needed, it really needs to be supplied. It is not something that is a standard card making supply. I found that very annoying. Spoiler: Picket Fence cards need both an arch die (which isn't my beef. That can be done with something round and two straight lines cut from the sides. My issue is the arched window die cut they are telling us to either buy a die or use an electronic die machine. That is not a standard item and I find it annoying that they didn't include a die for something that specific. I have the means to make the arched window with both a die and Cameo, but not everyone does. I am annoyed for all the people that don't have that stuff.

spokanemom That is one of the classes I have no intention of completing. I honestly thought, WTH when I saw cards in the book. I didn't even read far enough to see that we need to supply the one necessary product. So weird.

My box gets delivered today. Can't wait to tear into it. I'm going to be brutally honest right now. That sneak of Picket Fence is hideous IMO. Nearly as bad that dreaded Pink & Main class from the past that had that awful ice cream flocked card and the party hat die that I thought was a slice of pizza.

I didn’t do the flocking junk but I did copy Jennifer McGuire and make a party hat shaped card for a 5yr old that turned out pretty cute.

Well, my box just arrived, and was damaged on the bottom. So of course, I had to open it and check to see if there was any damage inside. Thankfully, they packaged it all carefully, and even the paper on the bottom was not damaged.
I took a quick look through the book, and am thrilled with the Brutus Monroe and the Lawn Fawn cards. Some of the others were a hard pass. I will have to go through everything later once I'm done with work.

Good thing I was off work today. They accidentally delivered my box to my neighbor and I was able to retrieve it.
No spoilers but the Honey bee stamps cards are my favorite!! I can't wait to make that. I am so excited, I might make it tonight.
Some cards aren't my style but I will try to do the homework so I can do most of the classes live.
Yeah, agree with everyone else. The picket fence cards has me puzzled. I guess I can use it for a kids card.

I spent a long time going through everything yesterday and there was only one class I loathed and one class that is really just not my taste, but everything else, even if not my style is most certainly usable and can be adapted to my style. Also I am going to need the die set for that LDRS sentiment set. I see that getting lots of use.

Event box list is up on the SCT website if you want to check and make sure everything is there.
Has everyone received their box now?

No box yet. Mine went from label created on the 31st to shipped Friday and should be here Wednesday. Which would be driving me crazy except I am out of town till wed night anyways.
Ewwwww on that Picket Fence sneak. My least favorite.
Liking the Brutus Monroe and am intrigued by the ink pad that is coming with.

Got my box here and I don’t think I’m doing the event again. I like about 1/2 the classes. The nature of the event doesn’t really allow them to teach too many advanced cardmaking techniques. I realize as I do this I prefer things like c9 summer camp and pinkfresh events as I learn a lot more and I get a lot of products that can work together in different ways.

So what spoiler or picture was posted in the Facebook group to piss off so many people? I’ll never understand a group of 3400 people expecting no spoilers in the internet. 😂
I’ll also never understand someone not opening a box for weeks. That’s just crazy talk! 🤣

I don’t know what was said, but there are a few people reprimanding others for talking about or sharing items in the box. Quite a bit of handslapping going on. People simply can’t NOT say something!
Just keep scrolling people.

I didn't see any spoilers myself but that FB group can be a bit much sometimes.
I was excited to get my box this weekend! I have been working on matching ink colors and deciding which classes I can do in real time.
Not too thrilled with the Picket Fence class but I've never used glaze so hopefully I can get some tips there.
For the Pink and Main class,I think I will just use colored cardstock to diecut. The Scrapbook dot com class is cute but I wish the animals didn't have party stuff on them.
Time to start chipping away at the homework!

What I saw was a photo of an older woman who had opened her box and had the instruction book and a couple of the packets spread out. The only thing that I could identify were the company logos through the plastic bags and of course the instruction book.
It was a clear violation of the rules (even though there really wasn’t any spoilers) But it also was clearly a person who was overly excited and wanted to play along with the pics of the (closed) boxes.
And then the handslappers bat signal went out and the comments started. Not all were deliberately nasty but at least one was.
So that was what I saw. I’m not sure what happened after that.
I also saw a couple messages in a different thread that the box had been spoiled because someone posted the SCT gift.
I skim the FB page to get updates on mistakes in the box and useful info but I got two eyefuls of mean girls today. 🙄

I did see that there are 2 homework videos posted on the password protected page for Honey Bee and Lawn Fawn. I hadn’t looked at the Honey Bee product in detail by watched the video. Love love love the cards and dies.
