I don't know what to think or do. I am terrified! We are finally able to travel and do things, and then this happens. We are supposed to grow old together.
I feel this to my soul. I'm 10 years from retirement and my DH has melanoma tumors in his brain. He most likely will not be there to enjoy retirement with me if we can't get this crap done and over with. He is starting chemo on Monday because he can't manage to taper off the Decadron steroid. That needs to happen if he's going to be able to do immune therapy. So, chemo first and hopefully follow up with immune therapy. BIG love to you and your family as you navigate these terrifying and difficult waters. I am sorry I must have missed your post. I'm thinking of you and your dh and wishing you the best.

I’m so sorry and I understand your fear as I was just diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in December. Things move fast, I don’t even understand half of what they are saying or what the words mean.
I decided not to Google anything and to wait until I heard it from the doctor or nurse’s mouth. There’s too much information out there that could have absolutely nothing to do with his diagnosis and you terrify yourself for nothing.
Please know that you both will be in my prayers and try to take it one day at a time or one hour at a time if need be. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I am so sorry to read your news, but please keep the faith. There is so much more they can do these days with advanced cancers than even just a few years ago. Good luck to him and you.

Make sure you have a second set of eyes and ears at appointments so nothing is missed and ask alllll the questions and write down answers even if you think you will remember them.
