Wading into the battlefield, huh?  I am a Democrat (formerly a Republican, never going back, at least not unless the Democrats decide to run Trump for president)  I will vote, as I have in every election since I turned 18, and I will vote Democratic. |

I live in a solidly blue state. Bright solid blue. I am disappointed that Biden has been the best we can come up with. And I think aging is a valid concern. Is he without a doubt the most qualified candidate? Definitely yes.
I have never not voted, and while I am tempted not to this year as my little “I’m disappointed” statement, I know I will vote. It won’t make a difference one way or another however since we’ve been bright blue for decades 🤷🏼♀️

I vote every election. Big, small, in between. I was taught early on to vote and be heard.
We just got our mail in ballots for the March election.

I always vote, and have since I registered at 18. Except when I was in Africa and our absentee ballots didn't arrive on time.  Personally I think Biden is too old, but of course I'll vote for him. Any vote for a 3rd party, or any vote-by-staying-home is just a vote for trump, and we saw how that turned out the last time.  |

Yes, I could never sit this one out. It’s not like we’re voting between Biden and a sane person with whom I might have some policy differences, like Romney, McCain, or Bush.
It won’t matter in my solid blue state, but I will do whatever I can to support Biden in our neighboring swing state.

This is my feeling exactly. I live in the same blue state as OP, but I feel very compelled to vote. I’m not excited to be voting for Biden, but I must do what I can to avoid another four years of trump. |

One, I love voting. Absolutely love it.
Two, I do think Biden has accomplished a lot and has hired good people. He has also appointed *incredible* judges. Immensely qualified judges that historically would have had a hard time getting nominated (because they work on voting rights, or as public defenders). That is going to be still with us 30 years from now.
Look, I want a Gen X president with better criminal justice policy, but I have no problem filling in the bubble for Biden.

I just got the email that my ballot is in the mail (for the primary). Love to be able to vote from home and take all of the time I need. I used to have to go to a fairly rough area and vote at the high school. It was always dark, cold, and I had to park so far away from the door. Now I just drive to drop off the ballot and it is so much better. Wish everyone had the same opportunity to vote the way our state votes.

In MN anyone can request a mail in ballot. I started doing that as soon as it became an option. I like knowing that my ballot has been received prior to Election Day. I think of times where I had to drop everything because something unexpected came up. I want to make sure that if I get into a car accident or have to take my husband to the ER because he needs an appendectomy my vote has been received ready to be counted. I think everyone should have that option.

I’m registered as a Republican (because Utah), but considered myself an independent until the last few years. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to vote for a Republican candidate again.

Yes, I always vote. Former Republican, will be voting D up and down the ballot, the chaos/corruption of TFG’s administration has ensured that. And of course my blue votes will mean nothing in my horribly red state.

Dh and I moved with ds who was 1 at the time in October 2020 from FL to NJ. We missed the deadline to register to vote and I'm not sure if we would have been able to vote by absentee in FL. Dh was active duty military at the time. Biggest mistake and lesson learned about the significance of every vote. I regret not voting and have not missed an election since then.

Well I am still registered as a Republican but happily voted for Biden last time snd I will again. I always vote well I think I missed one in the 90’a when they announced the winner before I got to the polls. I keep hoping that the Republicans will pull it together but that doesn’t seem likely in the next few years unfortunately. No way I will vote for the current republicans they just don’t stand for what I was always told they stood for. It’s really sad and frustrating.
Also happy to now be able to vote early vs standing in line on the day of. I also like that our ballots are collected at official places and they are monitored. They make sure the envelopes are filled out correctly and that if you are dropping off more than one that your name is also in the envelope and signed.
I didn’t vote in the poll as I’m not really sure where I fit. Registered R but voting D.

I’m a lifelong Dem living in a swing state and will be voting, just as I always have.
As much as I wish Biden were younger, and I am a little worried about that with all that comes with being that age, I will do whatever it takes to keep Trump out of office. (I even had the unpopular opinion that I would welcome Nikki Haley as the GOP candidate. Unfortunately that won’t be happening.)
Trump has become more dangerous than ever and I have a real fear that he will be elected again. I know too many people who are disappointed in the two choices and as much as they hate Trump, they’re going to make their displeasure known by not voting, or voting for a third party candidate. If Trump gets in, these are the people who will have helped him.

Absolutely I will vote, I’d vote for dog catcher if they’d let me. I have a sister who didn’t vote for 30 years. We were discussing politics and I asked her who she voted for. She told me she didn’t vote. I told her I no longer had any interest in discussing politics with her, if it mattered to her she would’ve voted. She started voting again so we could discuss politics. 😂 I’m glad she votes now but her reason cracked me up
