pinklady I heard the same thing ,but in my opinion this event reads as letterpress event because what you get. The hot foil system doesn't have a magnetic base so how are you going to make sure everything lines up right. I think I just need more info to push me to buy. And I think the amount of products we get for $170 its kind of skimpy. 5 plates and 4 dies. I guess they spoiled me with the cardmaking events. 😆 I'm pretty certain we are spoiled from the card events because this feels skimpy to me as well. They don't even have any bling listed on the essentials portion. I'm kinda wondering if bling is going to be their swag for this event because I can't imagine not having any type of sparkle on PF card. I mean foil sparkles, but the BP inks sure don't. I was so excited about this event. |

Did everyone see Pinkfresh's email on how they're extending the registration for this?
They're also adding 4 more products but removing the swag and booklet. I guess they heard people's complaints about the amount of products.
I actually thought it was a good value before and I am excited to see the 4 extra products. I'm in regardless.

Plus I can print the instructions or my husband is getting me a free iPad next month so I can use the iPad to view the booklet while I stream from my phone. |

I meant to sign up earlier but forgot about it. Just signed up. I am so happy that they added stencils.
Pinkfresh is my favorite company and a big reason for that is their constant responses to customer feedback. They always try to go an extra mile to make sure to make changes based on customer feedback. I have almost done all of their events and have never been disappointed. It's very rare quality for a company in craft industry. And their unique take on products and designs make their events enjoyable and value for the money.

They put a new updated class list on the event page and two of the classes are three-piece Better plates which I'm certain will be gorgeous, but still can't fathom how this translates to foiling. It's the only thing holding me back from signing up. I don't own a Better Press system, and I honestly have no desire for one at this point. If I knew I would easily be able to line up those plates in my foil machine so that the stencils and die would work, I would sign up in a minute.

I watched a video with Yanna using a multi-step plate and it came with a registration marker that was laid out on the magnetic sheet and you put the plates on top of that, but it wouldn't work for foiling. I'm also a little bummed that it seems like they removed the new Plaid BP plate from the Essentials and changed it out for a bracket die. I need to think about this more.

I ended signing up. Love that they included the stencils.
And I was watching today's YouTube live and the new press plate coming on Monday includes sentiment plates too. Im hoping that the press plate sets that we are getting will include them too.
I really don't like those printed sentiment packages, because the white is more of a grayish white and clashes with the white cs that I use.
I'm intrested to see how we are going to use the 3 set plate set. Hopefully on easy line up or that it could be used separately.

Both Lea and Heather say um every couple sentences. Unfortunately for me, excessive ums is like nails on a chalkboard.
Though now it did save me a bit since I was also going to buy the glimmer system and foils!

I don't have BetterPress, but I do have the Glimmer and it works perfectly in the Vagabond as-is without making any accommodations. I would imagine they are the same. |
