I hope someone will post pics and share their thoughts about the day! I didn’t participate yesterday, still having too much fun playing with my Summer Camp goodies to do any PF prep. Goal is to get to the classes in the next 2 weeks.

I really enjoyed it, it was my first online event.
I liked all the instructors and learned a lot from each class. I’m not crazy about a few of the designs but that’s my problem.
I was also really stressed out because I had lost my paper pack and spent the first class looking for it. I did eventually find it, thank goodness.
I feel like Carissa went really fast and I tried to keep up but realized it was probably best for me to do what I could and then go back afterwards and watch replays to complete the projects. I’m about 1/2 way through them.
I watched the last class today and hope to complete a few more cards. I’m not good at posting pictures but I’ll try later.
I would absolutely do another event but not sight unseen. I liked the projects well enough but it’s too much $$$ to gamble on.

I'll try to do this event sometime in July or even August. I still have to finish the bonus cards from the C&9th camp as well.
I did hear that Pinkfresh is having a betterpress/hot foil add on for their October event since everyone seemed to like this event.

This was my first pinkfresh event that I was disappointed in. I like foiling and better press but felt the designs were meh. While a good value I think I’m going to sell most of my sets once I do the bonus cards. The instruction was great. Everything was great but just kinda meh for me.

I have this week off work so I finally got a chance to see all the videos and worked on the projects yesterday. I finished alot of cards and not all. I enjoyed creating those and learnt so many new things about hot foiling and press plates in this event. I will try to figure out how to post pictures but here is my take on each class.
Class 1: They focussed on foiling on pattern paper. I don't know why Pinkfresh chose above card in their IG becasue it does not even show the foiling we did. This class had a wildflower design and it was foiled and layered on top of pattern paper. and for the other card, they did letterpress by turning the press plate in 2 different colors. I learnt alot about betterpress in this class.
Class 2: I was not so thrilled about this class initially because I am tired of seeing Carissa everywhere. But this class surprised me. She did an amazing fold using a pc of vellum and her card might be my favorite from this class. One card was foiling with stencils and then she created this fun arch fold using vellum. Second card seemed really hard to me at first because it was layered letterpress and design was very intricate. But my card turned out great and I loved layered letterpress. Letterpress cards are also hard to photograph so I would say that it looks much better in person.
Class 3: This class product was my favorite product suite in the kit. Made one slimline card and one A2 card with letterpress. I loved the cameo looking floral design and that honeysuckle set is very beautiful. I loved Emily's teaching style and I hope Pinkfresh includes her in more events. She really under estimates herself (she praised other instructors and felt her work was not upto the mark) but she was actually my favorite instructor.
Class 4: This class had layered letterpress too and I got perfect results so it made me happy. But I hope Pinkfresh drops Lea as an instructor. I am getting over her for some reason. I really can't put my finger on what it's about her that I don't like. May be it's her choice of colors. May be I am not a teal and blue color lover when it comes to leaves and she uses that the most.
I also find Lea and Heather's cards very similar now. It feels like they both are heavily inspired from each other's style of cardmaking. If I see their cards together then I really can not spot a difference.
Overall this event was an amazing value for the money. I loved their blanket stitched bracket die alot and it is very versatile to use. They could use less florals and may be add something else to the mix. I love their product esthetics in general so I know I will use these products alot more but still feel that some other theme in the mix could have been more fun.
I definitely used my glimmer and betterpress machines alot more in this class and I like how it pushed me to try something different. But I am going to be mindful on who teaches next pf events. I have already signed up for aug and oct events. Kinnari announced that she is adding an add on for the holiday event focussing on hot foil and letterpress. I am excited for that one.

I really enjoyed this event. I liked that it was just one day. The classes were only 1.5 hours long to make two cards using two different pieces of equipment so I do think they tried to keep the designs rather simple for the most part. I was able to complete all 8 cards but I haven't started the make & takes yet. I see lots of potential with the products and like Twillerbee, my favorite stuff was from class 3. I'm super glad I decided to buy a BetterPress and Platinum 6, I didn't think I would enjoy it BP that much, but in person it is truly beautiful and I'm thrilled PF will be doing a hot foil/BP add-on for the Christmas event. I will most definitely be signing up.

Yeah, I commented about it when I opened the box. I'll be honest and say that I haven't opened it since then to see if it's grown on me. While I am totally looking forward to learning new techniques (and solidifying those I already know), the projects themselves are too fussy for my taste. There's just a lot of little flowers, and while I LOVE flowers, and PF products, these feel a little "precious" to me.
