Man who killed his ex wife and boyfriend gets no sympathy from me. I’m not glad he’s dead but the world won’t be worse off without him.

Good, hopefully it was a long and excruciatingly painful death.

I can still remember that feeling when they said ‘not guilty’. It was like I was in a hazy dream. And I also remember the holy shit look on Robert Kardashian’s face. He couldn’t believe it either.

what a time that was in history. the car chase, the court trial, the verdict. people were glued to their tv. people remember where they were when the chase and verdict happened. it made you question if there were two justice systems--one for the rich and one for the regular folk. DNA evidence was so new and lots of people were swayed instead by the "if it doesn't fit, you must acquit".

Two ladies from next door came over. We were quietly disappointed, but they cheered and left.

I have forgotten so many things that happened in the past but the Bronco chase I clearly remember as well as the shock of the verdict.

So, what's for lunch?
I've got a hankering for some Chinese Chicken Salad from the local deli.

I remember the case etc of course, but I had no idea until I just watched a BBC news report just now, about the selling of his sports memorabilia then trying to steal it back 😳

That all happened right around the Rodney King event and the racism displayed by the LAPD in that case is thought to have impacted the verdict in the OJ case.

Yep. I remember when the verdict came in. I was at work and we had a tv in the back room. Two ladies from next door came over. We were quietly disappointed, but they cheered and left. i was finishing my college degree and had to present a report in my economics class. the professor said we were probably going to be distracted by the impending verdict announcement so he let us out early right after i did my report. i drove like a maniac to my job. we stood around a small tv in a storage room while they read out the verdict. it was crazy

I feel for his children & grandchildren. Of course I don't know if he killed his ex-wife and her friend (personally, the evidence to me seems he did, but of course none of us know for sure). The only human left alive that truly knew was O.J. and he was found not-guilty and maintained his innocence and now he has taken that to grave with him.
Up until their murders, I always admired O.J. He was a great football player and seemed like a good person. However, after their murders, and the spousal abuse info came out and my belief that he did actually get away with murder, well...my opinion of him, of course, totally was the opposite of what I thought when I was growing up.

Welp.
I remember when the verdict was announced very well - I was in a seminar in grad school and one of the guys apparently had a walkman radio and earphones because halfway through, he shouted out, "He's not guilty!"
The professor was nonplussed and we went back to talking about German art song or whatever the topic was.

Maybe Fred Goldman can collect a bit of money from O.J.’s estate now. I know nothing can make up for the loss of his young son, but it would be nice to think that his final years will be finally funded with the money owed from the civil suit.

the racism displayed by the LAPD Didn't one of the jurors pretty much admit that after the trial?
