I decided to go ahead and treat myself to the watch kit, I think it will get a lot of use and will be fun to play with. I signed up for the subscription so if I like July's offering I'll continue with it.

Oh, MichyM , I am much too sweet to be a devil! 😂 Perhaps let’s meet in the middle and say I’m a slightly bad influence as it relates to crafty item purchases? 😀

I was scrolling IG last night and saw TSM had an Insta-Hop for the new kits. There were a few crafters I had never seen so I'm following a couple new people now. http://instagram.com/p/C6EWjPJrcdQ

Not only are their classes but also extra inspiration. Smart idea if she is going to do these kits. As my biggest complaint with her before was lack of inspiration. And the inspiration is beautiful.

I saw Rebecca Keppel posted a video on her YouTube with the watch kit. She made 2 cards & they were super cute! I started following some new people too - glad there is more inspiration!
Really tempting me.....

Could someone please remind me about the standard kit class? I just opened my box and thought the info would be inside. Clearly I've forgotten something! Thanks so much

somehow there will be a class available on youtube on June 10th and thereafter that only subscribers can see. I'm not sure how to access it either. I'll have to go back to the website and check

These classes will not be on YouTube. The class is actually on their website under the online classes section. You have to create an account in the Makers Market section. This is some how tied to your account but you still have to join the Makers Market with a username and password. Here's a link: classes.thestampmarket.comOnce you log in, you should see the class but there's nothing in them except the supply list. This is sort of the same setup as the Online Card Classes website. Honestly, I don't recall seeing anything about this on the kit page but I did know about it because I had previously purchased their Just Lovely kit & class.

Thank you pinklady. Once you make an account, there is a countdown clock for the class. It's at 3 days, 19 hours, and change. Now that I've finished C9 prep and my PF kit isn't due till next week, I think playing with this kit tomorrow may be in order

I just started making one of the cards last night. It's kind of a pain to log into the Maker's website, it's a journey to find the correct links and logins. I'll have to bookmark it for next time instead of just going to the website and navigating it. I'm also not thrilled with the video I'm watching so far, Amy goes too fast so I had to pause and rewind about ten times. I'm only at the beginning, though, so maybe it improves. It's just not very smooth so far. I can't fault her projects, though, they're gorgeous, which is what really matters to me.
I'm really happy that I got the Small kit in time for Father's Day because my husband is a huge fan of watches. The kit arrived on Monday but it came via UPS so I was hit with $50 in customs and brokerage charges - just an FYI for Canadians. UPS charges a massive processing fee, like $40 or something, whereas if they ship USPS and then Canada Post, that same charge is only about $5 and it usually doesn't even get hit at customs with HST. For this reason I'm going to have to cancel my subscriptions, which is a real shame because so far I really love the releases. My husband is most likely going to be working in the US for the next year or so, so once he moves he may be finding himself with a monthly subscription kit to collect for me until I get down there to visit.

I have not watched any of the videos yet but I've been playing with the watch kit. I LOVE it!
Just curious, have any of you performed stamp surgery on the two circle sentiment stamps? I don't know why but cutting sentiments apart just freaks me out but I feel like I need to in this case to get more out of the stamps.
The only change I would have made to the kit is for the bottom sentiment on the two circle sentiment stamps, not be upside down. But on the positive, the watch face is so large, I do believe I have other small sentiment strip stamps that will fit in there nicely.

i have the watch kit and also love it. i'm irked though that the watch markings are not reflective of an actual watch. Why? Such a silly error.

The kit she showed so far for August is adorable too. I loaned out my watch kit to a friend while I work on the other June kit. Loving everything so far.

I really want to order the August standard kit and an add-on item. I don't plan on keeping the sub afterward. Has anyone tried to cancel yet? Is it difficult to unsubscribe?

As far as I know, you cannot officially cancel. I was able to pause my June subscriptions but I keep checking to make sure it stays paused. There is a place to “manage subscriptions” in your account.

Hmmmm, that kinda sounds annoying. I wonder if I should just pay the extra money to have just a single order. Thanks for the info, Pink Lady.

I've played with it quite a bit, I think I've made 6 or 7 different cards with it. I also made several PRIDE cards with it. I'll try and post them in the next couple of days. But in the meanwhile....what I'm most interested in, is seeing YOURS Care to share them?!?

I wonder if your stamp set is flawed?

I just rotated my circle of lines stamp and stretched/pinched it until it was in the correct position on the watch face. I had to fiddle with it a little but I got them correct. It would have been much easier if it wasn’t a flimsy outline circle stamp but a flat full circle stamp instead.

I paused my subscription for July, and then resubscribed for August. I didn’t find it difficult to do either…many thanks to pinklady’s post earlier in this thread about how to pause. Because it is simple, I personally would not pay the extra money for a one month subscription.

Ugh, just when I thought I was out, The Stamp Market dragged me back in. I was planning on cancelling after August's kit, and then I see September's release: youtu.be/y0pRPO1XHMA?si=A1KybRg3VQYSS-dBNow not only do I want the Standard Kit, I want the Deluxe Kit even more! The brokerage hit is just not doable for me anymore - she ships UPS to Canada which makes it a minimum $40 brokerage fee plus taxes on top of that - so $50 just for the Standard Kit. Aaaargh. My husband is working in Florida for the rest of the year, so I can have it shipped to him and he can mail it to me - I just have to figure out what the postage rates are and see if it's feasible. Has anyone shipped to Canada recently, and any idea of how expensive a box this size would be? I will go check out the USPS website...

While I love these kits. They are in darling boxes, contain cute stamps and dies and all that. It frustrates me that after buying the kit (at a premium cost) that I have to order so many add-ons to complete the cards in the classes. Am I the only one?

I love the stamp market products in general but I feel the same. Other thing that bothers me alot is their color scheme. I am really tired of seeing everything in rainbow colors. Those colors makes it too predictable for me. I like experimenting with colors because that can change it all. And last but not the least... lack of designers. It makes it all too limited for me.
