I cannot believe WITL is here! Who's participating? Do you have a plan devised on how you will take on the week?
Share your Instagram/Blog/YouTube link if you are going to be sharing your progress online. I'd love to follow along and support each other!
For me, I am using last years WITL kit that I had in my stash as well as an extra album I had. I ended up painting the linen 6x8 album to be a bright hot pink and I kinda love it, lol. I dont have a photo of it yet, but I will snap some later today and update this thread.
I haven't do a whole bunch of prep yet besides painting my album but that might change tomorrow. I don't have a super busy week planned this week but I am excited to document where we are right now in life.
So how about you? Are you ready? Prepped or just winging it?

I'm going to live vicariously through y'all. I might do it in a few weeks, just in my Project Life album. I bought the digital Daily scrapbook kit and a few of the shop items from the WITL collection.
I'm loving all the prep but I just don't have the capacity to do this right now.
I have ideas for how I would put it in my album -- one column per day. So I'd need to go through my page protectors and see what works. Maybe the one with squares. Or maybe 4X6s.
I am here to cheer you on!!

Hi! Thanks for starting this thread. I'm definitely in. I am working on a decluttering project that I am getting to a stopping point on for now, with a deadline of today on that. I have a couple more hours before I wrap that up. Then I want to work a bit tonight setting up my album bones. I made a list this morning of things I want to capture, so that's done. I have a relatively average week coming up, though I do have a weeknight shindig for a historic house museum where I am on the board (it's a dinner/fundraiser) and that's a bit unusual, and then one workday this week I will be out of the office conducting meetings at a relatively farflung location with one of my staff. That's relatively unusual but not unheard of or anything. Most weeks there is at least a little something different going on, I guess, or at least half my weeks seem that way. I'm going to make the most of all of that, because I am not permitted to take photos at work. Very much looking forward to capturing the rhythm of life these days. It looks so completely different from, say, 4 years ago or even 2 years ago. Hoping this current rhythm sticks around for a good long while, as I am enjoying it, but I also know nothing is promised. If I post anything on my Instagram, I'll link it, but that place has cobwebs

I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to do it or not. I may start doing it then fizzle out because I'm really good at that. If I do it I have some digitals from years past (2016 & 2021 I believe) and I think I have a couple of pieces here and there that I can use from random other kits & companies. I have a list of what I'd like to document and was planning on setting a timer to take a photo in the morning/afternoon/evening at the same time each day, I just need to figure out what times I want to capture.

I forgot this was the week, so I'm glad I saw this post! I'm going to take pictures and notes. I may or may not be able to make a finished project. I have lots of options (3×8 stand alone album, included 12x12 PL, Cinched minibook, etc.). I will decide the format later.

I am in! I was originally planning to do a week in May instead but then that wasn’t great so yesterday I decided to just do next week with everyone as I had fun being part of it with the community the last two years. Yesterday I sort of put my album together - I’m using all the things from this year’s release as I really loved it. I’m going to try and do a little more planning today. But really I’m just going to document and photograph the heck out of the week and then do the bulk of putting the album together later. My insta is scrapping_my_week but I don’t know how much, if any, WITL I will share there. I share my weekly PL pages but if anything, I’ll probably only share select pages of WITL. I might post if a couple of my last year’s pages to get in the spirit.

I'm in! I'll be using this year's kit but I haven't got anything ready. I just received my replacement album in the mail a couple of days ago. I'm just going to make an effort to take lots of photos throughout the week and I have asked my kids to send me as much of their photos from the week as they can. I'm hoping to have a section from their perspective, fingers crossed! It's going to be a different week because my kid's school flooded last week so they are being moved to a new location that we haven't been told about yet so it'll be an interesting snippet of our life!

I had it written in my planner and then just spaced it because we have so much going on.. I've moved my start date to May 11. Can't wait to see what everyone does! I'm just piecemealing my kit from my stash.

I’m all in - I’m using a 3x8 album I’ve already set up in the past with older kits and items I’ve bought on sale. This past week and this coming week are school holidays in the land of oz so I’ll get some interesting stories as a result and have an album that looks different to the ones I’ve done in previous years which is great. I have a confession though peas… I may cheat a little and combine the two weeks of holidays into the one witl as I have parts about both that I think make for interesting stories that I probably wouldn’t capture without this project (I do monthly project life albums but don’t do a lot of these types of mundane day to day stories!) So I’ve actually started taking pics etc this past week 🤭

I’m doing it next week if anyone wants a buddy! I meant to share my prepped pages and didn’t get to it and now I’m on vacation. Maybe next weekend I can share. I’m using all the pinkfresh stuff because I couldn’t control myself and bought the last warehouse box. It’s cute and springy.

I documented last week since that was a "typical" week for me. I am using 2023 WITL and older kit pieces. I FOUND my WITL journal and used it daily-I will buy that again (hopefully in a sale). The journal won't be in my album, but I used it more for the words I recorded.
I did plan out my album. I liked Linda's scavenger hunt photo ideas. I had the WITL big pieces, the night/day/am/pm/morning/evening and the plastic phrases from WITL 2022 kit Around the House/Home Life/Loving/Documenting/Current Routine so I was actively trying to take a pic that would reflect and use one of these phrases.
My list looks like this: Word of the Day (4x4 Vellum piece) Outfit of the Day Scavenger Hunt Pic Screenshot of email headers (just 3 for the week, personal, work, and volunteer email accounts) Weather screenshot Screenshot of daily Wordle and Connection game results (will probably merge this all into one digital page) Daily Fact/Feelings Card Daily 4x6 Card WITL (2023 kit) that has 2x2 grid I printed small 2x2 pics on my Epson Picturemate PM 400 for this Dow Jones closing number daily I also scanned my monthly planner for April and will include that.
New ideas for me I've stitched, with embroidery floss, on 2 6X8 pictures so far. I will look thru my pics to see if any others would work for stitching.
I spent Thursday driving all over the state of Ohio and I think I will make a digital page of my route via Google maps.
I want to consider printing a few pics in black & white.
My husband's office space (our former garage) is currently being renovated, and I'm happy I took pics all week long, that will be a good progress photo page.
I use Persnickety Prints for print most pics. I make albums on PP labelled 3x4, 4x6 and 6x8 and upload as the week went on. I have Sunday thru Wednesday uploaded to PP already.
I find I don't take enough pictures. It's kind of hard to pictures at work in a hospital.
Oh! I will have one cool layout, I need to find a Now/Then card. I dispensed a Covid vaccine, with a brand name on it last week. I have a pic from 2020, with the first Covid vaccine, when it was still in the "experimental drug" phase.

I think I'm going to do it, but I completely forgot until I saw this thread. Obviously I'm winging it. I think I will use a 6x8 notebook. No pictures yet.

So I’ve actually started taking pics etc this past week 🤭 OK - I love that someone else is combining weeks . I was struggling to decide on last week or this week bc last week had a lot of special milestones that would be fun to capture, but then the week was so busy I struggled to document the mundane parts . And, I retired April 1, but my youngest is a senior in HS, so NOTHING is normal or typical right now. All to say, I am planning to combine last week and this week into my WITL. I actually wrote about it in my Reason Why this morning. I reminded myself that what ever I do this week is great because it's my rules and my week. I love how others capture so many details, repeat elements daily, etc, but I am likely to not remember to do all of that and that is OK! I have this year's main and mini kits already organized into the album and then I added a couple of creative ideas I saw others do like a check list for each day. I have a daily list of potential photos on a digital sticky on my phone as a prompt, but may just use photos from last week as filler - we will see how this works. lg I would love to see how you combine your weeks together as inspiration . I also rarely complete this album. I think this is year 4 or 5 and I rarely get it all done, but am still grateful for capturing something . Anyway, mom thanks for this thread - going to bookmark for inspiration this week.

Since this is my first year for attempting WITL, I haven’t set anything up in my album. I’m only taking photos and capturing journaling this week. I did watch a lot of videos and took notes, to give me ideas on what photos I might want.

I'm in! Bought all the things from this year's release, I keep a very small stash of WITL products. I'll also be documenting this week, I like the energy that comes from other documenting, I'm kind of scared to try it a different week.
This isn't an ideal week but looking back, none of our spring weeks are ideal. 2 kids in same sport but different teams, gross Minnesota weather means all the games get rescheduled now. Games almost every night of the week, practices, competitive dance, plus a weekend trip to visit colleges. It's crazy, but that's just life right now.
My album is set up, but I'm ok deviating from it. This is the first year I'm figuring out a formula before documenting. I have notes and checklists of what to take. Doing my journaling in the notebook. Trying to really focus on the relationships in my life using the mini kit.
This will also be my first-year printing everything at home. I splurged on a really nice printer and have really been enjoying printing from home.

I took one million pictures today! No surprise since it a Monday. I wanted to pace myself but great pics kept presenting themselves. I’m fine to use some of them another day for the every day type ones - probably for Friday when I’m kind of over it. How about everyone else?

paget I LOVE those “ing” word tags - might be stealing that amazing idea as I got a second lot of that chipboard in my mystery boxes! Texas Scrap I’m thinking people focussed photos and words on the actual day where possible and fleshing out the album with the stories from the second week on the correlating day of the week - so Monday stories on Monday etc… I’m not a huge outfit of the day or what I ate kinda person so I’m picking one or two main stories (dd’s surprise braces invoice, ds’s hair cut, mum and son day out lunch etc) for each day and just documenting them. I only have a small 3x8 album which means I have to be quite succinct in what I document, but it also means I have a high completion rate as I’m not trying to document every single thing for every day. I’m just so upset I didn’t know about this project when ds and dd were babies BUT at least I knew about it for covid/lockdowns as that was such a unique experience!

I was a little worried after yesterday, I wasn’t sure how many photos I’d taken vs how many would be usable. But scrolling through, I have at least 25 that I like. I’ve heard others say they take 80-100 everyday? That would give plenty of choices but I’ll be happy with what I captured. And I know it’s not a competition, I just want to make sure I have enough material to work with. I also didn’t do any extensive journaling last night but jotted down some quick thoughts. I might regret that, so I’ll make time today to write more.

I'm in and late to the party (my MO apparently). I forgot yesterday was the 22nd. I'm using the 6x8 album with both the main and the mini kit. I have a few of the embellishments but I'm most excited about using the days of the week transparencies.
I didn't take photos yesterday, but I was on a deep dive on YT looking at MS excercise videos so I figure a few screenshots and some journaling will work. So far today I've taken AM routine shots which include the addition of getting up in the morning to get the bird set before I leave for the day. As boring as any routine sounds I love thinking about it and capturing everything in a photo.

So, I'm having doubts. I took about 15 pictures yesterday (all usuable) and wrote some detailed notes. I've taken 2 pictures so far today. I'm working 10-11 hour days right now and I'm not sure I can add documenting on to that. I might try to journal tonight and if I can't get to it, I may just skip this year.
I'm cheering the participants on, though, and enjoying what you all share 😀

I love looking back at those kinds of posts. Also podcasts, music in your playlist, anything really. It's the most boring mundane stuff we look at when we look at old photos. What's in your fridge? Take a photo of your medicine cabinet, your closet.
