All good folks... Trump spoke at Turning Point USA's "People Convention" after his visit to 180 Church in Detroit. At that event, Trump ally Jack Posobiec and a TPUSA staffer walked out on stage and unfurled a "White Boy Summer" flag and threw out hats with the same slogan. *** Trump's campaign used his visit to Detroit to highlight his outreach attempts to Black voters. MAGA Republicans waving a “White Boy Summer” flag doesn’t make for good Black voter outreach.*** Some Black conservatives have asked for Trump to address the racist rhetoric coming out of Turning Point USA. Trump has had months to address the overt racism of TPUSA and their attacks on MLK. However, he chose to remain silent. meidasnews.com/news/white-boy-summer-flag-unfurled-on-stage-at-trumps-detroit-rally

Roger Stone says the fix is in for a 2024 win.. Lauren Windsor is the same person who recorded Alito and Martha-Ann.. x.com/lawindsor/status/1803118829683228950Roger Stone, a longtime adviser to Donald Trump, revealed a plan to have the former president re-take the White House with the help of judges who are prepared to act despite the election results. Liberal journalist Lauren Windsor caught Stone revealing the plan on an undercover video. "At least this time when they do it, you have a lawyer and a judge — his home phone number standing by — so you can stop it," Stone explained in the video. "We made no preparations last time, none … There are technical, legal steps that we have to take to try and have a more honest election. We're not there yet, but there's things that can be done." Windsor provided Rolling Stone with recordings of Stone speaking candidly at Mar-a-Lago on March 19 at a Catholic Prayer for Trump event. Stone suggested to Windsor's colleague, Ally Sammarco, that U.S. District Court Judge Aileen Cannon would soon dismiss the charges against Trump for allegedly mishandling classified documents. "We are beating them," Stone said. "I think the judge is on the verge of dismissing the charges against him in Florida. They're delayed in New York City, and they're now delayed in Washington." www.rawstory.com/roger-stone-2668542134/

DJTJr ..Writing on Twitter, Trump Jr. posted an older photo of Acosta in which he had grayer hair and compared it to a photo still taken of Acosta on CNN this week which showed him with darker hair. Be prepared for this second tweet/picture. It is hysterical.. x.com/JenTusch/status/1803076112328585663

I guess I’m far right for saying that” Maybe, but you're definitely in incel jerk. You might want to try visiting the National Institute of Health website and read about the effects of birth control on the female brain. As with most things it appears to be an ongoing study but it does make you want to pause and think. You might try not being smug when you suggest information. The study is only on the impacts of oral hormonal contraceptives, too, but the MAGAts want to ban all of them. And, of course, men don't want to use condoms because "it doesn't feel as good."

Not surprised. My guess they want to wait until after the election and if trump wins they will give him the win of signing any legislation banning these things again. “BREAKING: Senate Republicans just blocked legislation from Sen. Heinrich to ban bump stocks after last week’s Supreme Court ruling in Garland v. Cargill.” x.com/judiciarydems/status/1803164559148196190?s=61&t=j45uMgNk1i8O0YllKF58nw

The media does not because they're the engine behind their hoaxes... the Dems and the media are lucky we don’t match their dishonesty. We could. We don’t. Oops!! Ted Cruz left his playbook out for all to see. x.com/PabloReports/status/1803173087644418132Ted Cruz's secret playbook found in Senate refectory — and posted onlineM.L. Nestel June 18, 2024 8:06PM ET A playbook belonging to Republican Sen. Ted Cruz — which appears to show how he aims to raise cash to get him reelected for another term in office — was found in the Senate refectory and scooped up by a reporter who posted it online. Pablo Manríquez, co-publisher of "Capitol Press" and who describes himself on X as a "hill reporter and oil painter," landed on the tranche of briefing papers that contain innocuous information about the weather in New York this week, but also phone numbers and addresses of such notables such as billionaire Ron Lauder and Wall Street scion John Loeb. "Someone, presumably a staffer, left a folder full of briefing documents on TED CRUZ donors in the Senate Refectory," Manríquez wrote on X. He then posted a thread of some of the senator's detailed itinerary and talking points to schmooze would-be deep-pocketed donors. Cruz, 53, is being challenged by 40-year-old Rep. Colin Allred (D-TX), who served three terms in office and, before becoming a civil rights attorney, played four seasons in the NFL. The documents offer a glimpse into the methods and tidbits that Cruz is prompted to bring up, as well as specific dollar amounts he should seek from each person. The document also coaches him on what to say during the meetups. www.rawstory.com/ted-cruz-2668542961/

Seems the whole or a good portion of the GOP is a bunch of juveniles... youtu.be/R2evxfn3xlc?si=FIuta1pHZ8GCGQgSVermont State Rep. Jim Carroll, a Democrat, has been reluctant to publicly discuss an embarrassing video involving a GOP colleague, Rep. Mary Morrissey — who, according to Vermont publication Seven Days and The Guardian, can be seen pouring liquid into a tote bag hanging from a hook outside a committee room. www.alternet.org/jim-carroll-mary-morrissey/

Just another dishonest republican, in fact deplorable at best.. It's not like the Black people chose to come here, for that she should speak to her ancestors! No wait, some where back her family was immigrants!! Gomez... She is disgusting,! Republican Missouri Secretary of State candidate Valentina Gomez chose to celebrate Juneteenth by posting a video urging Black people to get out of America. "Reparations from slavery and black victimization is about to be shoved down our throats for the most wretched holiday in America," said Gomez in the video. "BLM raised millions. And what did they do for Black lives? It is outrageous to see people ask you for reparations, even though they never went through slavery. These ungrateful people should be celebrating because they were born in the greatest nation to ever exist." x.com/ValentinaForSOS/status/1802916369022775626www.rawstory.com/velentina-gomez/

Because, of course, Fox was on the TV when I walked by to get my shoes. This news story was on. I asked the "whatabout" question of the Gateway pastor SA issues and all those "christians" that work for Faux just sweep those stories under the rug. DH knew enough of my mood to just keep quiet at that moment. But really?!? Why don't they cover those stories? Ya know, I know the answer. It doesn't fit the narrative of their channel but these stories need to be heard. I am tired of yelling about them. I had my own issue of SA with a member of our church and preacher wanted to sweep it away as the person had been ill. Then it happened again. ONLY because I asked if it had been his wife or DILs or granddaughters and that my DH and the police would take care of it, did said person get called in. Of course, nothing happened to him or anything after that. He ignored me and I was happy. But DAMN! Why do the women have to go through all the hoops? Why doesn't anyone care about them? What is the deal with keeping it quiet? Basically all rhetorical questions because I know the answers.

Interesting. When that door flew off the plane more than a few Republicans in Congress, without any verifiable proof, blamed DEI for what happened.
Ron Filipkowski
“read for months MAGA posts saying that the problem with Boeing was because of a DEI labor force at the company which led to poor maintenance and operation of the aircraft. Turns out it was the greed and negligence of white male executives cutting corners. What a surprise”

This let’s remove regulations and get rid of inspections for planes snd trains since it’s gone so well snd while we are at it the FDA, EPA and I can’t remember what else. But yes they have the best interest of the public not the corporations that just want to make as much money as possible. Let’s get rid of the CDC to what could possibly happen I mean they have made a lot of mistakes but imagine what it would be like without them. Then of course the ridiculous notion of getting rid of the IRS and just adding insane tariffs on foreign goods. I just can’t understand anyone thinking these are good ideas.

FOX Maria Bartiromo has for sure gone around the bend.. In the last few years, real wages have gone down, and inflation has gone up. We're talking about up 20% or so on Joe Biden's watch," she continued. "As someone told me the other day, they spent $13 on a loaf of bread; I thought, what?"Bartiromo also played down favorable job reports, claiming that most new opportunities were for undocumented immigrants and part-time workers. *** At the time of publication, WalMart was charging $1.48 for a loaf of bread.www.rawstory.com/maria-bartiromo-bread/

Aldi has loaves for under $2 and specialty loaves under $5. If someone is spending that much they are seriously going out of their way to try and find it. I think there might be some local home bakers that charge much for special sourdoughs. I hate when people just try and make things look worse than they are. Yes inflation sucks but the prices I’m seeing on most staples aren’t really that much more than during Covid. Junk food, chips, candy, soda, ice cream (actually ice cream went up in 2018 I think and is still on sale about that price now) and other extras are more snd way up but they are extras. Prices on these items doubled during Covid. Organic milk and butter are more but eggs, meat and produce are about the same. I have always bought meat on sale and the sale prices aren’t really much more than 2020.

Then of course the ridiculous notion of getting rid of the IRS and just adding insane tariffs on foreign goods. I just can’t understand anyone thinking these are good ideas. That's the whole premise of the Republican Party starting with Reagan - deregulation and trickle down economics. Heather Cox Richardson explains it really well heathercoxrichardson.substack.com/p/june-18-2024The Reagan Republican model started from the proposition that the best way to serve the public good was to slash taxes and regulations because that would enable the very wealthy to accumulate capital that they would then invest more efficiently in the economy, making it grow faster than it ever could when government investments warped markets. Theoretically, this would help everyone.
