This guy, Steve Slaton is running for office in AZ This popped up on twitter from this Steve guy. ”am a Vietnam combat veteran - no left wing smear campaign will ever deny that fact. These people doing this are doing to me what the liberals did to my fellow Vietnam veterans decades ago when they returned - spitting on them and mocking them. These are the same people who opposed patriots like Kari Lake, President Trump, Eli Crane and Wendy Rogers. They are a bunch of establishment Chamber of Commerce RINO hacks who support Democrats more than Republicans. It is about 10 losers with no real power to do anything. They get everything wrong and are about as irrelevant as the paper their phony letter is printed on.” And it got this attached to his tweet.. ”An investigation into Steve Slaton's military service records reveals that he never served in Vietnam and is not a combat vet. Additionally, Mr. Slaton was not a pilot, but an aircraft mechanic. For more information including copies of his DD214, see the links below.” I checked his bio and it claims he served in the military as a combat helicopter pilot from 1973 to 1975. The last of our troops pulled out of Vietnam March 29, 1973. Even if he had enlisted 1/1/1973 I doubt his training as combat helicopter pilot would have been completed in time for him to spend any time in Vietnam. And apparently he wasn’t even a pilot. a neutral economic study group (or something like that)... found that not counting covid aid, trump's govt accumulated 8 billion in debt.. biden in same time period accumulated under 4 billion.. who is better for the economy? not a single fortune 100 ceo donated to trump.. It’s especially surprising since he is the one that is claiming to cut their taxes. He will make permanent his tax cuts to the wealthy. I don’t understand why Biden didn’t reverse them or would it have required congress to do so? Then again couldn’t they have done that during his first few years? This was in Detroit. The pharmacist/owner used to carry a huge wad of money in his pocket and he would cash the checks of auto workers that would come in and buy liquor. We all had to carry buzzers that would call the cops if anyone got any ideas about robbing the place. It was quite the experience. Maybe that's how Mike Johnson cashed those checks! |

Not new news. Propublica had posted this around the begining of June, about witnesses being paid. We know Weisselberg has a $2 million deal. But with today's decision if the get paid after it isn't a bribe, just a gratuity. A professor who testified stated that he was to be paid/or had been paid 8 or 900,000 dollars to testify. Nine witnesses in the criminal cases against former President Donald Trump have received significant financial benefits, including large raises from his campaign, severance packages, new jobs, and a grant of shares and cash from Trump’s media company. The benefits have flowed from Trump’s businesses and campaign committees, according to a ProPublica analysis of public disclosures, court records and securities filings.
