I know no one watched the rally last night of the FORMER president but I am curious if anyone did a fly-by. My DH was asleep and had the TV on THAT channel. I needed to take the quilt in and put it on the bed. I stood there for a hot minute getting it placed on my side so that we would just have to flip it over when he moved.
Well, the rally was on. And I could hear this melancholy music playing softly. And the former pres was talking at a slow pace, I assume reading a teleprompter. As he was staying on point and not having that inflection in his voice as he is bragging and such. You know the tone. I walked around a bit in the room trying to find the source of the music. In case DH maybe hit the wrong button on the clock and it was playing. I couldn't find the remote to mute it and didn't want to turn it on anywhere else. I was streaming a show up front. So I was just curious if he was having this soothing mesmerizing music played in the background. And if so, why? Almost hypnotic, like in a spa.
