But TFG is on a tear.. x.com/RalstonReports/status/1799920516050117061I am the only Candidate who has ever called for delivering relief to our wonderful Service Workers by NOT TAXING THEIR TIPS. It was my idea that Tips should not be taxed, and only I will GET IT DONE - And do it IMMEDIATELY upon my return to the White House," Trump wrote Sunday on Truth Social. "Crooked Joe Biden has taken the totally opposite approach, trying to TAX more and more of their Tips, even hiring 88,000 IRS Agents to collect! In fact, Crooked Joe substantially increased the Reporting Requirements for Workers (2023!), and would go still further if I wasn’t here to watch. Biden could never, and will never, get done what I’ve proposed - Just like he never got Student Loan Forgiveness done." He then added, "With Biden, it’s ALL TALK, AND NO ACTION. Hopefully Rank and File Union Members, Union Leadership itself, and Workers all over the Country, both Union and Non-Union, will support Donald J. Trump, because I’m NO TALK AND ALL ACTION! TRUMP KEEPS HIS PROMISES, AND STANDS WITH OUR GREAT WORKERS. PROMISES MADE, PROMISES KEPT!" That didn't go over well with a culinary union official later that day. www.rawstory.com/trump-culinary-official-wild-campaign-promises-taxes/

Ugh, this is just maddening. From AB Stoddard.
“Trump’s lies have become more deranged since the verdict. Not only did he claim last week that he never said “Lock her up,” about Hillary Clinton in 2016, which we all heard repeatedly and can instantly find video of on our phones, but this weekend he claimed that it was he and not Biden who capped insulin at $35 per month “for millions of Americans,” which every insulin user in the country knows is a lie.
As the eightieth anniversary of D-Day was set to begin last week, 46 Republicans in the House voted against NATO funding and all but two Republicans in the Senate GOP voted against protecting access to birth control.”
They lie with abandon. And for a party that talks about freedom, they don’t like it much when applied to women.

This guy really is a disgusting individual. Aaron Rupar… ”BREAM: Trump reportedly wants Ukraine to give up Crimea & parts of Donbas. Isn't that giving Putin what he wants? TOM COTTON: Trump has said that any reports of plans like that are not authorized. Trump had a strong relationship with Zelensky. (Trump tried to blackmail him!)” x.com/atrupar/status/1799794232330527129?s=61&t=j45uMgNk1i8O0YllKF58nwRevisionist history at its finest. Ugh. 🙄

We really do need term limits for Supreme Court Justices. Here is another deliberately ignoring original intent of something in the Constitution. No Lie with Brian Tyler Cohen… ”Samuel Alito was just caught on tape saying that “compromise” between the two sides is impossible and one side is “going to win.” He then said he agrees America must “return to a place of godliness,” rejecting the separation of church and state.” x.com/noliewithbtc/status/1800224124746547318?s=61&t=j45uMgNk1i8O0YllKF58nw

Term limits in the Supreme Court must be a priority. From the Rolling Stone…. link“Justice Alito Caught on Tape Discussing How Battle for America ‘Can’t Be Compromised’In a new, secret recording, the Supreme Court justice says he “agrees” that the U.S. should return to a place of godliness BY TESSA STUART, TIM DICKINSON ”Justice Samuel Alito spoke candidly about the ideological battle between the left and the right — discussing the difficulty of living “peacefully” with ideological opponents in the face of “fundamental” differences that “can’t be compromised.” He endorsed what his interlocutor described as a necessary fight to “return our country to a place of godliness.” And Alito offered a blunt assessment of how America’s polarization will ultimately be resolved: “One side or the other is going to win.” Alito made these remarks in conversation at the Supreme Court Historical Society’s annual dinner on June 3, a function that is known to right-wing activists as an opportunity to buttonhole Supreme Court justices. His comments were recorded by Lauren Windsor, a liberal documentary filmmaker. Windsor attended the dinner as a dues-paying member of the society under her real name, along with a colleague. She asked questions of the justice as though she were a religious conservative. x.com/lawindsor/status/1800203891155620038?s=61&t=j45uMgNk1i8O0YllKF58nw

Were these church members or outsiders? Although shame on them all anyway! x.com/smencimer/status/1799575838725198149On X, users criticized Giuliani over his comments, with one writing: "As an attorney, an officer of the court, this kind of language is repugnant, about another member of the bar, @rudygiuliani, Attorney Giuliani, especially where you were a Mayor and an officer in the federal legal system. Is this the kind of language you want in our national discourse? This hate speech is far below locker room talk." "One—but far from the only—sad thing about this clip of Giuliani making fun of a black woman's name is that he's probably old enough to remember a time when there was significant ethnic/national prejudice against Italian-Americans," another added. www.newsweek.com/rudy-giuliani-fani-willis-ho-christian-church-reawaken-america-tour-1910316

If he is not willing to comply with those kinds of conditions, his alternative is prison." Or, he'll do what he always does--agree for expedience to the person's face, then do exactly as he pleases anyway, with great confidence that he'll get away with it...because he nearly always has.

Smartmatic won a round in suit against FOX today!! Smartmatic, the voting company accused of manipulating the 2020 election tally for President Joe Biden, subpoenaed four Fox Corp. board members as part of its $2.7 billion defamation lawsuit against Fox News. The company notched a small court victory now that the move will force Anne Dias, Jacques Nasser, Chase Carey, and Roland Hernandez to produce critical documentation, The Washington Post reported Monday. The board members are supposedly key to Smartmatic's case alleging that executives at Fox not only were privy to repeated and unsubstantiated claims of election fraud made by allies of former President Donald Trump were bogus but were unwilling to move a finger to pull back on the perpetuation of them. “The Board members witnessed Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch’s control of Fox News; exchanged relevant emails that Smartmatic has used in depositions and will mark as trial exhibits; attended meetings during and after Fox News broadcast the defamatory publications; and discussed the 2020 election and the competitive threats Fox News faced to its brand,” Smartmatic lawyers wrote to Judge David Cohen earlier this year. www.rawstory.com/smartmatic-v-fox-news/

Objections to two tiered court systems... Yes it is.. at least for TFG and his buds!! Several criminal defense organizations believe former President and convicted felon Donald Trump received cushy treatment.Various defense attorneys and legal advocacy groups cried foul following Trump's pre-sentencing interview, in which he was permitted to have attorney Todd Blanche present and allowed to virtually answer questions, rather than the more commonplace in-person conditions. We're looking at a possible fatal flaw in our system of governance here and we would do well to pay attention. We're very lucky he was just a dumb-ass grifter without a brain. Imagine the next one. "This is just another example of our two-tiered system of justice," read the statement issued by The Legal Aid Society, The Bronx Defenders, New York County Defender Services, and Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem, according to Business Insider. The four New York City-based public-defender organizations said Monday: "All people convicted of crimes should be allowed counsel in their probation interview, not just billionaires." www.rawstory.com/donald-trump-hush-money-trial/Random comment: Expect this at every step. And thats the difference between a person like you and me and a person like Felon #1. As an ex-president -- and for most of his life he wasn't and still got away with everything -- practically the entire mechanism of the state is arranged to not only let him do as he pleases but to protect him each step of the way. We're looking at a possible fatal flaw in our system of governance here and we would do well to pay attention. We're very lucky he was just a dumb-ass grifter without a brain. Imagine the next one.

It would have been highly improper for him to discuss the case prior to sentencing. I’m just surprised he agreed to do it so soon. If he doesn’t get the sentence he wants he might not show up.

We so often mention that the electorate needs to learn some history and civics... Now another legislator proves they need the learning also!! Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) became visibly flustered and scandalized on Tuesday in a committee meeting when Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) was forced to remind him it was a jury, and not a judge, who found former President Donald Trump guilty on 34 felony charges of falsifying business records in the state of New York. x.com/Acyn/status/1800596564563632450Norman, a member of the far-right Freedom Caucus and one of the key figures trying to force the United States to default during debt ceiling negotiations last year, has generated controversy on previous occasions, including an incident in which he brandished a handgun during an event with constituents trying to press him on supporting safer gun laws. www.rawstory.com/ralph-norman-2668500087/

Exactly. It’s not by accident that they go in with a normal person’s portfolio and come out on the other side millionaires. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to see how that happens.

Oh my.... GOP supports the military... Sure with 'Stolen valor'... But big TFG supporter!! Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX) is facing withering criticism from fellow Republicans for continuing to wear a combat pin that he was mistakenly awarded. House Republicans are accusing the congressman of "stolen valor" for wearing the Combat Infantryman Badge pin from Afghanistan on his suit jacket, right beneath his 118th Congress pin, although he served as a civil affairs officer and not in the infantry or Special Forces, reported NOTUS. *** “That’s ridiculous," said Rep. Wesley Hunt (R-TX), who wears a similar Combat Action Badge. "That’s stolen valor." A Pentagon and U.S. Army review of Nehls' service record showed he had one Bronze Star, and not the two he has claimed, and was not allowed to wear the Combat Infantryman Badge, but the lawmaker insisted he had paperwork to show he'd been awarded two Bronze Star medals for meritorious service in combat. www.rawstory.com/troy-nehls-military-service/
