That’s kind of what happened before my dad passed. His kidney cancer seem to be not spreading and all of a sudden everything went to hell in a handbasket. Fortunately this happened before the onset of Covid and the hospital he was in actually had a hospice floor so we were able to spend the last week of his life with him. I won’t lie. It’s hard to say goodbye to somebody that you love so much

my daddy also passed away from squamous cell cancer... he was doing great... responding to radiation... started the chemo rotation... the next pet scan showed it had spread everywhere.... we were not ready to say goodbye...
It really is a hard thing to do!!! Sending you n ur mom prayers n peace
