I, too, remember the panic when I saw that two peas shut down. I was not friends with anyone off board. At that time, my WiFi service was iffy and I ended up at McDonalds signing up for the new board.

10 years?! I remember the shock and confusion when two peas shut down without warning. So glad I found this board!
A lot of the times things get hectic and I'm not able to post as much as I want to, but I love being able to pop in and lurk whenever I have a free minute! LOVE this amazing bunch of friends who feel like family and are so inspirational!!!

I was, and still am, sad that the toilet paper hoarding pea who ironed the crotch of thrift store underwear and had endless questions about her mountain home didn't make it over. During Covid, she would have had the last laugh with her hoard! I remember that! Was that Silverdolphin, or something like that? |

I realised that our 10 year date on this site is coming up on the 25th of this month. Not sure I believe that, it only seems like yesterday. So, was just going to throw it out in case peas feel it should be marked in anyway, any ideas? It's technically a school night but I figure most of us are beyond that point. Thoughts? Wow. Time flies. Yes, if not yesterday at least it seems like last week. I remember when I tried to get on and everything was locked. |

It's gone by so fast! I started on the other board when I was pregnant. That child is now old enough to legally drink.

Time flies, sometimes. I still have my notebook from my Sweet Peas group from CKU Kansas City. I use it as a canning diary. That was in 2005...19 years ago.

It seems like it's always been here, but like it's new too. This is a much kinder board that the original ever was. So glad I found it so quickly after the other one disappeared suddenly. To the admin, thanks for having us. I agree. And non-scrapbooking threads were almost all political. At least it felt that way. So hard to believe it's been 10 years already. It was sad when the old board closed. And for me, it was the end of scrapbooking. I haven't scrapbooked since. |

WOW 10 years already. I think I found this place about a month after it was up. I’m so thankful that I “farmed with friends” on Facebook with a few peas regularly and I believe one of them mentioned this place to our gaming group so we weren’t separated from the flock long. 😬
ETA Oh I registered on June 26th, I didn’t think it was so soon after starting up.

It’s so hard to believe it’s been 10 years. I started on the board when I was about 22, got married and had kids. It was a shock to try to login and nothing. I’m thankful to whoever sent me the link to here. I can’t even remember who it was anymore. I believe it only took me a day or so to get here. I remember wondering if it would last, but it definitely has!

Where do you see the pea number that I see some of you posting? When I had a PC I could hover over my (or anyone's) name and see the pea number in a tiny box at the bottom of my window. With a macbook I have no idea, nor with a phone either. |
