I realised that our 10 year date on this site is coming up on the 25th of this month. Not sure I believe that, it only seems like yesterday.
So, was just going to throw it out in case peas feel it should be marked in anyway, any ideas? It's technically a school night but I figure most of us are beyond that point.
Thoughts?

It was a sad day when I found the old page had closed up. It took me a bit to find this page but was soooo relieved. Happy to be a Pea for 20+ yrs

It seems like it's always been here, but like it's new too. This is a much kinder board that the original ever was. So glad I found it so quickly after the other one disappeared suddenly. To the admin, thanks for having us.

10 years?? Wow! I hardly even remember the old board now at this point. It was a lot more chaos though. I do remember when I first started coming to the og board I would NEVER post on NSBR.. it was too scary.. only on the scrapbook side. It was like a safe space where you could peek into the scary side.. LOL...

I do remember when I first started coming to the og board I would NEVER post on NSBR.. it was too scary.. only on the scrapbook side. It was like a safe space where you could peek into the scary side.. LOL... Yes! I joined the old 2Peas when I had an issue with my Revolution die cutting machine and needed some advice. I couldn’t imagine EVER posting on the NSBR side of things! |

This board is so much warmer. What I don't miss is the store that never had inventory and complained about it's customers.

I've been participating in 2peas since 2002. Twenty two years!
I came to the "new" board the first day. I was panicked trying to find a place to go. So glad I found this board that day.
I really appreciate all of you. I really enjoy my time here and learn a lot. I am one of the rare ones that still scrapbook, too, so it is nice to read scrapbook content. That side goes a bit slow for me, though.

I'm so thankful I had Pea friends on FB and could find out where to go! I feel like that day was total chaos.
I can't believe it's been 10 years, but I can't believe I was on the old board for even longer - I joined the old Old board in '99-'00!

Wow, hard to believe it's been 10 years!  I still remember the feeling on that morning when I came to 2 Peas to find it was shut down. With no warning whatsoever. I've always thought it was pretty amazing how we all found each other somehow in order to get here. Do you remember right at the beginning after 2 Peas shut down there was some guy -- I think he said he was the husband of someone from the old NSBR -- trying to organize a new group? But there was something off about it...I don't remember what now, but there was some reason people weren't embracing it wholeheartedly. Then our admin started this one. |

I was on the old boards from about 1999 until they shut down. I was a bigtime lurker and fascinated by the NSBR for a good read but way too intimidated to post there. I knew one pea in real life - the infamous Beadhound - she was a lot but I knew her through scrapbooking and then she was run off the board for something to do with the police. I can't remember the details.
So glad I was able to find this board again!

I came here about a few weeks after all was up and running. A place I used to "hang out" on the 'net closed. Someone from that board sent me here.

i can't believe it's been 10 years already. it's been very entertaining and i still enjoy my time here. i've felt us aging through the years but we are still here. i've seen the health challenges, the divorces, the new grandchildren, and people going and coming. always changing but still comfortably the same.

Man I felt lost when if shut down, like when my team gets knocked out of the playoffs down
I found this place pretty early and posted on the fb group for a while. There are some from the old board I miss, but I do like it here.
I never posted on the scrapbooks side. I was NSBR all the way

I remember that because I was not working at the time and had a ton of free time to fill. I couldn't find the board but after googling I found this place on the first day.
I was, and still am, sad that the toilet paper hoarding pea who ironed the crotch of thrift store underwear and had endless questions about her mountain home didn't make it over. During Covid, she would have had the last laugh with her hoard!
