I know the Peas love a good towel debate. And that there are those who use a fresh towel after every shower, and those who will reuse one once or twice. I just saw a TikTok where a scientist ok swabs from fresh towels and then from a used towel and made Petri dishes for bath. After the allotted time there was NO difference in the cultures - nothing grew on the used towel one! Tiktok Link

Reuse. I would be spending my life doing laundry if the whole household used one every day.

Reuse 3-4 times. You are clean. I don't get what the big deal is.
I use the washcloth the same amount of times for my face. I use a sponge for my body.
Hand towel is changed daily in the bathroom.
We each have 2 sets of towels. So when 4 days is up, I hang up the new ones on everyone's hooks and wash the used ones.

Reuse, unless it gets too wet and needs washed. But normally I am simply drying off and hang it up immediately afterward. If it fell on the floor or something, then no, I would get a clean one

Body - reuse twice. Hair towel (small towel) - 3 ish times.
I shower and wash my hair every morning. I have a towel rack on the back of the bathroom door. My bathroom has very poor ventilation/air circulation. I hate using a damp towel. Just can’t do it.

Reuse at least twice. I am clean after I get out of the shower.

If I had unlimited funds and staff to wash all those towels, you bet I'd use a fresh towel (actually 4: bath sheet, hair towel, hand towel and bath mat) every day. Since I don't, I use them for a week, then switch them out.

Reuse. I can't even keep up with my laundry as it is. If I was using fresh towels after each shower all I would do with my life would be laundry.

Re-use! The impact on the environment, the energy dollars spent to keep washing towels and the fact that it's not good for the towel would prohibit me from being a daily towel washer.

Reuse, since in dry climate, no humidity so towels dry fast.

Re-use if everyone has their own towel. When I have a houseful of company, I wash towels daily. For us alone at home, wash towels once per week.

We reuse them a couple times. My thought is if you are washing yourself and your hair properly in the shower, all that will be on that towel is clean water which will dry. Hand towels get changed out frequently even though they are antibacterial microfiber and they dry quickly. I don’t use fabric softener other than white vinegar in the washer on bath towels (100% cotton) so they stay absorbent and we hang them up so they get dry between uses. My sister was using fabric softener sheets on hers and as a result they weren’t absorbent at all and they would hold onto every musty, funky smell even after they were washed. Ew.

Reuse. We do a towel wash once a week here. Towles are hung on the towel rack after use and dry pretty quickly. I use a microfiber turban towel for my hair, and i goes into the towel was, as do bath mats.

Reuse and change weekly. My daughter changes each time in her home. I really don’t get it.

We reuse towels over a week, and then I wash them when I have about three weeks' worth. I hang them outside to dry about eight months of the year, and they smell glorious!

Reuse. Make sure they get good air flow as they dry between uses. I would consider not reusing wasteful and bad for the environment.
A pet peeve of mine is people who use their bath towel to wipe the bathroom floor up of water or leave it a soggy mess in the corner. Or worse, wet in the hamper.

Reuse. Washing towels every day is a waste of water and electricity.
The biggest problem in our climate is that damp towels often get stinky, so I am forever spreading them out more on the towel bars to try to help them dry.
