Another Aussie as a firm no. I hate that tucked in feeling of a top sheet and kick it down to the bottom of the bed whenever I have encountered one.
I can also sleep with zero covers on me. Just lie on top of the bed. DH who is an ice lock at night thinks I am a freak 😂

Of course because when it’s hot I can’t have a blanket on but still need something to keep the monsters off me. Excellent point!

DD doesn't use a top sheet. I've always attributed that to the fact that she slept in a toddler bed for quite a long time. We used the crib mattress fitted sheets, didn't have top sheets for that size. She was covered by just a blanket and got used to that.

Nope and haven't in probably 20+ years, so it's not a new thing for me. Top sheets just get tangled around my angles and kicked to the bottom with me.
And the comforter that's on my bed 99% of the time is about 35 years old, and still not worn out though is usually the layer right against me. No joke. Doesn't even have a hole in it.
And yes when in my non central ac house I'll still lay under a comforter, actually often also under the blanket on top of it too. Sometimes the oscillating fan is just too much- life with a low body temp and on a blood thinner, I'm often chilly. Currently have a light blanket on my feet and legs sitting on couch right now.
But no.. no top sheet on my bed

Yes. I know it seems to be a "new" thing. I just like a made bed and that includes a top sheet. I sleep hot but I have to have something covering me. So the top sheet wins. I can thrown the heavier top covering off but still feel "safe". Same here!

Summer or Winter, all I have is the fitted with the top sheet folded back to the end of the bed. I sleep on top of it. My condo is around 26-28C all the time, so no need for covers. So you sleep with no covers on you at all? That is way too far out of my comfort zone!

I didn't when I was young but now I love my top sheet. My kids feel like I did when I was young, but they'll figure it out.

I dislike top sheets since they always get tumbled around and twisted st night. I sleep with a blanket and take my quilt off each night. So essentially it doesn’t get dirty from me. And yes, I still wash it since my cats do like to lay on my bed during the day.

Always. Grew up that way. My kids hate them. I gave up trying when they were little. Dd uses one, ds does not. He moves so much during sleep so it restricts him. Plus he likes the feeling of his comforter on him. Sensory thing.

I use a top sheet because I don't want to wash my duvet cover and try to wrangle it back over the duvet. It's a two-person job and I'm a one-person household.
I also sweat a lot and it's easest just to wash sheets.

Last year when shopping for college things I noticed that a lot of the sets did not have a top sheet. Guess they have caught on that young people don’t use them.
My husband and I use one.

I haven’t used a top sheet since I was a young child. As soon as we got duvets (we called them continental quilts then!) my mum threw away the top sheets and the duvet cover was washed instead. I have never owned a top sheet, and wouldn’t thank you for one - it’s just another layer of bedding that needs washed! And like AussieMeg, I own a range of different duvet covers so get to change the look of my bedroom every other week. 😊
