We were on a trip out of town, and DH selected some best of the 90s list from Amazon and Baby Got Back from Sir Mix-a-Lot came up. I HATE that song and made him skip it. It was everywhere and overplayed when I was a sophomore in high school. I have a few more, but that one is the one I can think of right now.
What is your nails on a chalkboard song?
ETA: Closer by Nine Inch Nails is another one. They play that on the radio when I'm in the car all.the.time. So gross.

I have a few of them but the one I absolutely dislike the most is All of Me by John Legend. I want to gouge my eardrum out with a spoon.

I’ve got one that I particularly dislike (well I don’t really dislike the actual song) because it is my name, it is sung to me all the time, it is/was played way to often on too many different stations, and it is kind of an iconic song so it seems to have sticking power. If I had a quarter for every time I heard it or had it sung to me I wouldn’t have to work. 😆. I am sure there are others that i could name but will have to think about it…this one came to mind immediately.

I absolutely hate More than Words by Extreme, such a creepy 'if you loved me you'd let me' song. I don't understand how anyone thinks it's romantic.

I remember in college, not liking “Turning Japanese”, for obvious reasons. My good friend of the time really liked the song. She was ethnic Chinese and did not like the song “China Girl”. But she didn’t understand why I didn’t like “Turning Japanese”. 🙄 Another song that I can think of quickly is “Feliz Navidad” because the lyrics just repeat over and over and over. And “7 Years” by Lukas Graham. There are more but I can’t think of them right now. |

I can't stand The Pina Colada Song ("Escape"). Beyond that, I tend to be more voracious in my dislike of holiday songs. I break land speed records to change the station if "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer", "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus", or "The Christmas Shoes" comes on the radio.  |

Friday I'm In Love by the Cure just makes me want to break the radio. I hate his whoooiooo whooooos in that one in particular.

I have an irrational hatred for any song with “rock and roll” in the title or chorus. |
