Part of me wants to and the other part thinks no I really don’t need to watch. I know I will end up watching though.

I really don't want to but it's like a train wreck waiting to happen. I know DH will watch it and he bats for the other team. So my plan is if I do watch it, it will be in another part of the house. With my handy dandy easy bake oven fact checker in my hand. Which we will either be so busy fact checking or we will need google translate on.

Absolutely not. I can't bear to listen to a word that comes out of the orange one's mouth. Plus, the news services will tell me all about it over the next days and weeks.

I totally understand the only reason I am thinking I will is because they will cut him off after his time is up so he can’t talk over Biden. I don’t know. I don’t blame you though.

My dad loves politics. He has to go out for dinner but the debate will be on.

No. Like why? I mean unless you are a crazy MAGA follower or have never heard of either, what's the point.
We either vote to save democracy or to end it. Watching a debate won't change that or my vote for Biden.

I won't be watching it. Never do watch the debates.
Several of my friends all be playing a drinking game while watching it I think. Haven't heard the "rules" yet and I worry about them for alcohol poisoning (I'm sorta joking).
My Facebook feed will be an amusing "live" while it's happening since I have people from all different political views- farrrr left and farrrr right.

I am sure the highlights will be on the news later.
During the debate I will be driving one kid to work, driving another to driving class, and picking them both up whenever they are done.

Nope. I plan to watch "The Boys" and I'll catch highlights (lowlights?) tomorrow morning, so I can sleep tonight.
I hope the Orange Circus Peanut walks off the stage when his mic is cut off. I think I read he interrupted 162 times at the last debate? Maybe his fucking head will explode or his diaper. I'll take either, honestly.
Supposedly this will "sway some voters" who are undecided. What sand have you been sticking your head in because I'd like to borrow it at some point.

I don't nees to watch. In no way in hell am I voting for Trump, sono need. I watch when I actually need to decide something.
I figure I'll get the highlights on one of the late night talk shows, John Oliver, Facebook, or here. No need to want to punch my TV

Part of me wants to and the other part thinks no I really don’t need to watch. I know I will end up watching though. I have the same push/pull. I've set it up to record but don't know if I'll watch... I think I'd like to hear the PBS folks' commentary so will go set it up on that station now.

I figured more would watch just to see it as I figure it will be bad. It’s not changing my mind as I won’t vote for TFG but I guess I’m curious - knowing mics will be cut. I’m curious how cnn will handle it after the mess of the town hall. If it gets too bad I will turn it off.

I'm trying to guess how it will go. My thoughts are that since he can't factually debate anyone, he will just stick to vomiting his usual script no matter what the question is.
And no I won't watch. I don't want to waste my (remaining) brain cells.

I just watched the first question to Biden and he looks so old and frail. I can't watch this. Watching The Bear instead because it makes me happy.

We are watching. Trump sounds better but everything out of his mouth is a lie. Biden is rushing to try to get information out which is exactly the wrong thing for him to try to do.
