I don’t have any tattoos. It has been so long since I’ve colored my hair that everything that’s grown out now has never been colored before.

Curry, but in the States, I think it is pretty commom not to have tried curries. Much more common for our Aussie and Brit friends. I have tried Indian food, once, long ago. I think we probably had Tandoori chicken. I love Indian food/curry so much I've eaten it cold for breakfast! I wouldn't know a flat white if it came up and slapped me in the face. I've never been to an arena concert. Never taken non-prescribed drugs.

Hmm, basically pulling from things others have said... I've never skied (water or snow), never truly golfed (have putted a few), never smoked anything at all (including cigarettes) or done any kind of illegal drug, no tattoos. I think everything else mentioned is something I have at least tried.
Not that it's anything we actually talk about, but I've never lit a match or a handheld lighter. (I have used one of those long stick lighters.)

I have never had a tattoo and don't plan to ever get one. Have never taken/smoked any illegal drug. Have never been able to stand the smell of pot. Where is squirrel common to eat? Seriously asking. I have eaten lots of things others would find unusual but squirrel strikes me as very unusual. Not uncommon in rural areas when I was younger, but no idea about today. According to my mom, I ate fried squirrel as a toddler but I have no recollection of it. Would never touch it as an adult (don't care for any game meat really). And the woman wondered why I had food issues?

never been to a state in the south.. except in the airport in ft lauderdale. As a South Florida native, I can assure you Ft. Lauderdale is NOT the South! A college friend joked that it wasn't so much a Mason-Dixon line but a Mason-Dixon circle that cut Florida in two around Orlando.

Sushi - then again, I haven't eaten fish since I was about 8 years old, and I stopped eating shrimp (my last hold out on seafood) when I was 18. As a native Floridian, that is very unusual.
Never used a rideshare app, Air BNB or VRBO, or ordered my groceries for pickup or delivery.

I’ve never smoked a cigarette. I’ve never wanted to.
I’ve never done any type of marijuana, even though I’ve had ample opportunities. I hate the smell with a passion and have no desire to ever smoke anything. But we have gummies and liquid pot (to add to drinks) in this house right now (it’s legal here). But I’ve never tried any. I drink all the time, so I don’t know what’s holding me back.
I’ve never been pregnant or had a baby.
I’ve never broken a bone.

But despite the convenience of carrying around the internet, and the fact that so many places want you to use apps, now, I still do not carry a phone around with me. Whoa... I find that crazy (not in a bad way) even my mom who is 85 in about a month has her iPhone (old but still fine) Not putting you down or calling you out, I just can't imagine. I have to even have mine for work now. I have several apps that I need for work stuff.

I think the difference is that in england, australia, etc. curry is like the local fish and chips place.. every little place has one.. or the local chinese or fish and chips place has curry dishes. in the states, it is certainly available in most cities, but not all towns. our cheap food other than diners tend to be mexican.. so you can get tacos/burritos most everywhere (excepting maybe new england). so the go to after the mcdonalds, etc is mexican. I learned to love malaysian and indian food when I lived in hong kong.. that was the local cheaper food other than chinese.. here in western us, I would eat mexican.. and curry is harder to find. I tend not to eat chinese food outside the bay area as it is so americanized I don't recognize it. Say what? Mexican food (and various types of Central American cuisine) is easily found in New England. Our little town is getting a restaurant specializing in tacos soon.

I think we probably had Tandoori chicken. You’ve had tandoori chicken? Then yes, you’ve had a curry. Even if it wasn’t tandoori, if it was a similar type of dish - tikka masala, korma, vindaloo, rogan josh, saag ……. all are curries. A curry is basically just a sauce with meat in it (and/or vegetables) and a heap of herbs and spices. They can be spicy hot, but do not have to be, many do not have any pepper- or chilli-type spices in them. Never had any of those meals above.. not even close. most of them I never heard of.. vindaloo? But yeah, never had curry but I think it is common, even my small town had an India restaurant (although it failed after a few years) they are not hard to find. I have never: Watched any Law and Order, Real Housewives of anywhere, Kardashians, Been snow skiing (even living near the mountains) Did any type of drug (illegal or what they consider legal now) and I have been around it and offered it back when I was young and running around with friends, but they never pushed it. Never smoked cigarettes.. STINKS.. pot stinks too. No tattoos (yet, I wouldn't say I would NEVER get one, but probably won't) Ate a PB&J... only jelly sandwiches as a kid Drank Coffee.. (STINKS) Eat tamales or game meat (I'm super duper picky)

I can still work around not having one with me day to day most of the time. And like I said, we do keep one in the car, now, so if we want to use one at a store or something, we can.

So I have been reading here for ever it seems and things get mentioned that I have no experience with. For example, I have never had curry. I live in a small town with no real restaurants other than a couple of family owned diner or bar food type establishments. I haven’t attempted to make curry as I have no idea where to start. I also have limited experience with things like Door Dash or Uber. Doesn’t exist in my neck of the (literal) woods. On the other hand I could walk out the door any evening and most likely see deer, eagles and often bear out looking for dinner. What are some things you haven’t experienced that many Peas find quite normal? I live near a city. I can get to the skyscraper part in 20 minutes. I have two Indian restaurants close by, and I do Door Dash them. I take Uber a lot. But I also have a bald eagle's nest a half mile from my house. I often see eagles, hawks, turkeys, owls, bats, deer, turtles, rabbits, squirrels, raccoons, coyotes, etc. I once saw a fox and a bobcat. No bear here, though. I love where I live. So convenient but still close to nature. And on topic: I've never blown a bubble in gum. My mom tried to teach me when I was little but I never could. Gum is gross to me, anyways. I've never been on a cruise but I'm not against the idea. I've never been out of North America- only the US, Mexico, and Canada. I had planned a trip to Europe but then I got covid. I've never seen the Pacific Ocean- the furthest west I've been is Utah. I've never been on a tall roller coaster. I've been on a smaller one a couple of times and that was enough for me. I hate heights. I've never had a raw oyster. I absolutely love cooked ones but the snot like look of a raw one is not appealing.

Seriously I just read this thread and I was done it, done it, did it, enjoyed it, got the T-shirt...lol.
The weirdest thing (to others, not to me) is that I really don't watch TV or movies. I have at various points in my life, but haven't really watched much of anything at least the last 15 years. Before Jeremy I had no TV outside of DVDs for quite some time. When we moved in together, he insisted on cable. Every once in a while I will put on a DVD of an old musical or sometimes I will put on a DVD with like 6 or 8 episodes of Friends as background noise when I have a quiet work day without meetings (rare). I think nothing of it, but I've been looked at like or commented to in a way that lets me know other people find this very weird. So that's me flying my freak flag. LOL!
Oh and...my brother used to hunt squirrels when he was a preteen. My mother would have to cook those things, yuck. I was glad when that phase passed and he was onto hunting deer and raising hogs. Both of those taste much better. The grossest part? My brother would skin their tails, put them in freezer bags and tack them to his bedroom door. My mother put the kabosh on that mighty quick. God, I miss my brother.

I don't think there's anything listed here that I HAVEN'T done, other than eating a squirrel and skiing. Neither appeals to me.
On those "never have I ever" Facebook posts, I usually find my score is pretty high (or low, depending on how the scoring works). Not that I'd admit to everything on Facebook, lol.
But as one ages the choices tend to become less risky, or risque, and I'm ok with that as long as I'm still exploring and enjoying life.
The last few new experiences I had were getting over a fear of the idea of snorkeling (went in Sanibel, loved it) and adventurous eating in Mexico (I even ate the grasshoppers! Cooked into cornbread, and also fried with some chips and guacamole!). I ate street food. Nothing happened.
I didn't drink the water but that sounded like just a bad idea in general.
