We already did our 'traveling' for the year--11 days in Alaska Feb 23- March 5, and 32 days in Europe April 10-May 12. I really want to head to So CA to visit with DS and spend time at the beach--probably mid Sept.

we have plane tickets booked for two weeks in England and Scotland in October but have encountered some obstacles so not sure if we'll be able to make that happen.
Hoping to spend Christmas in Williamsburg VA

We have a cruise planned on the new Utopia of the Seas Labor Day week. Then I'm having a girl's camping weekend with my SIL, nieces, and sister in October in FL.

We did 10 days in Kentucky/Tennessee - blue ridge mountains beginning of June. In January I am headed to Tanzania and Zanzibar for 16 days on a girls trip! Huge bucket list trip for me as I have wanted to go to Africa since I was a very little girl. Plan on doing a family trip to Ireland next spring as well.

Planning/hoping to take Dh's Mum at age 92 for 'one last trip' to The Algarve in September. His family have been going there on and off for 40 years+ but as Mum is getting more frail and less mobile this seemed to be the right year to enable her to see her favourite spots again

We did a week of camping at Mammoth Cave in Kentucky in May. We just came back from a weekend (not camping) at Lake Michigan in Ludington. We will head to Ohio for a family reunion in August (long weekend). And then we will do a week of camping up at Sleeping Bear Dunes/Traverse City in September. We probably will not travel anymore until April or May of next year. We like to camp off season so the kids are still in school and the campgrounds are quiet.

Going to WA wine country next week with my sisters and BFF. I go every year with my BFF but this year my sisters are coming along. I need a vacation and can't wait!

I really don’t know. We usually do a week somewhere late August-early September, often a beach in Greece or somewhere else in the Mediterranean, but I have to have surgery early August and will be completely out of action for 3 weeks, then unable to fly for a further couple of months. We are thinking of heading home to Australia to visit over Christmas, but need to see if that’s goi g to work.

A week in the Canadian Rockies in August. Do you have everything like shuttles to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake, ride up Sulphur Mountain Gondola and lunch or dinner at Sky Bistro booked? These are popular activities but not last minute things ...

We already went to Spain in March, just me and DH. Discussing a family trip over the holidays in December but it will most likely be domestic. DH and I are also taking a brief trip to NC this weekend to see our youngest play at the Brevard music festival.

Just got back from a 3 week road trip thru southern Europe. We had a blast, but that kind of go go travel isn't my thing anymore. Had a couple of domestic trips for biking events already this year, with another in August. Will likely go to London for a few weeks in Sept/Oct.
Our travel is at weird times this year as ds23 has finished college and we can go when we want. 😁

I am doing two "Staycations"! #1 - My girlfriend and her husband who live in Ontario are flying here (Calgary) next Sunday for a whirlwind five days of sightseeing and various activities ... we have so much to do! Wolfdog Sanctuary, Dinosaur Museum in Drumheller, dinner theatre, Calgary Tower and revolving restaurant, Banff including the gondola and restaurant ... I know I'm forgetting stuff! #2 - My adult dd's and I (they are 25 and 21) are spending a weekend in August at the Fairmont Palliser here in Calgary. We are doing treatments at the Spa and will take advantage of the pool and hot tub ... and room service! We will take an Uber to a great downtown restaurant for dinner one night and will be enjoying high tea on the Sunday afternoon before we go home. It will be a chance for the three of us to bond and relax and just spend time together! (They don't live with me) I am so excited for both of these things!!!

I was on a quilting cruise in February on RC Oasis of the Seas. Huge ship and the weather wasn't great.
Thinking about going away for New Year's eve.
Next year is a *big birthday*, so I am looking at options for a trip in the spring.

Our favorite stop in Spain. Would love to spend a month there. Sadly, our big trip to Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Estonia and Iceland was in May. It was fabulous and I'm reliving it now with journaling and picking out the photos to scrap. We're hoping to go somewhere this fall stateside. If not, we have Greece booked for next year.

We just spent two weeks in Valencia, Spain dogsitting for a friend of mine so that is our big vacation for the year. My kids went with their dad to FL while we were gone. There has been discussion of taking a weekend trip for our anniversary in September and driving a few hours south of us in the autumn over the kids' Fall Break but that has yet to be decided.
I am applying for a women writers' fellowship that I hope to win which would mean spending 2 weeks of my choosing in Homer, AK next summer. I am hopeful that that would be my big vacation next year. We are also planning on taking the kids to Chincoteague for a week. Our closest friends' daughter recently got engaged and is planning on getting married in Gatlinburg next fall. We went there last year for our mini-moon so we are discussing going down for that.
2026 would finally be when we take our official actual honeymoon (which we were planning on doing this fall before the Spain opportunity presented itself) to Ireland.

We already went to St. Croix for a week in March. Long girls' weekend to the Jersey Shore in June. Tomorrow girls' trip to Northhampton, MA and to see the Pretenders at Tanglewood. New Orleans beginning of August for a week (sigh, I know) for DH work function. Emerald Isle and a house on the beach end of August for a week with three other couples.
After seeing Mary Ann Moss's Instagrams of her trip to the Cotswalds, that's what I'm dreaming about for next year.

Our favorite stop in Spain. Would love to spend a month there. . I loved it too - was only there 3 nights though. Curious what stood out for you? We are planning to do part of the Camino de Santiago walk next year…and end up back in San Sebastián.
