I'm not the type to pick just one favorite. So if I am looking for something richer, then: Chocolate Peanut Butter. Please do NOT confuse that with it's cousin "chocolate peanut butter cup", which is just vanilla with mini pb cups strewn through it. Oh no--I'm talking actual chocolate ice cream, with ribbons of peanut butter all throughout it. If I want something with a lighter, fruity vibe, then black raspberry. And please do not put chocolate chunks in my raspberry ice cream. However, my stomach no longer tolerates sweets well at all, so it's been a long time since I've had either of these.

How dare you??!? On block you go. My husband feels the same, BTW. We can't share ice cream. My dh only buys ice cream with nuts to bring home because he knows I won't eat his ice cream.
This is why my dh buys strawberry ice cream lol.

I do love rocky road ice cream and also the cookies and cream blizzards from DQ are yummy! I read that DQ has a Smores blizzard but I haven't tried it yet. They do have a S'Mores blizzard. And as much as I like S'mores in general, there is something about the way that DQ does it that I just don't like as much as I expected. It is good, but it isn't a go to for me anymore.

I love a good creamy chocolate ice cream with peanut butter all throughout!
But my absolute favorite that I can only get SOMETIMES at a local ice cream shop is peanut butter ice cream with captain crunch PB cereal in it. The ice cream softens the outside of the cereal a bit, but it still has a good crunch to it! They change flavors daily as they run out of a flavor, and the PB crunch is apparently not very popular so it is a rarity I get to have it. But when I do it is something I think about for days!

Ice cream is my weakness. My favorite is Blue Bell Pistachio Almond and Banana Nut a close second.
I also like buying the Outshine bars.

Is this actual pudding? As a kid we had homemade pudding pops a lot. Just regular pudding frozen in Dixie cups with a popsicle stick. I loved those. I would love to try this. May have to take a trip to Rhode Island sometime soon. 😄

May have to take a trip to Rhode Island sometime soon. 😄 It’s basically rum raisin ice cream with other fruit in it too. Usually cherries. I don’t like it, but it’s my mom’s favorite. I’ve never been to Greys, but I’ll have to stop in next time I’m down that way.

I love so many flavors / especially if it has caramel and chocolate chunks in it. I’ll admit it’s one of many things I absolutely can not eat since I hit 45. Super sad…

It really depends on where I’m getting the ice cream from. If we’re going to the local place at home I almost always pick white chocolate raspberry. It’s white chocolate ice cream base with tiny little dark chocolate cups with raspberry filling and ribbons of raspberry throughout. Local place at the lake cabin, I usually get Coconut Joy which is coconut ice cream with dark chocolate chunks and dark chocolate ribbons. If I’m at Coldstone, I usually pick Founder’s Favorite. If I’m at Culver’s (which is technically frozen custard, but still) I always get a turtle sundae. Grocery store ice cream is kind of a crapshoot depending on what they have. I usually then will look for something with chocolate chunks, waffle cone pieces, brownie pieces, caramel or any combination of those. I prefer the more premium brands like Ben & Jerry’s, Talenti or Edy’s in a pinch. I can’t eat Dairy Queen or McDonald’s type of soft serve at all. There’s something in it that makes me violently ill so I have to pass no matter how much I want to eat it.
I also have a Cuisinart ice cream maker at home and a Ninja Creami machine at the lake cabin and have been known to whip up different variations depending on what sounds good and what we have on hand at the time to throw in at the end as mix ins.

I love vanilla. But I'll try other flavors too. My DDs university (UMD) has a dairy and they make flavors based on the coachs' favorites. It's so fun.

My favourite is a toss up between licorice or coffee - but only if the coffee flavour is strong, and it actually tastes like coffee. Decent coffee ice cream can be hard to find.

Ice cream is number one in my book. Do not care for chocolate or ice creams with pieces or chunks of chocolate. Favorite in order of how favorite are; - Carvel soft serve vanilla - Haagen Daz Vanilla - Haagen Daz Strawberry - Though I don't like chocolate, Haagen Daz Rocky Road

Recently, Chocolate frozen yogurt. I don’t know why frozen yogurt at the grocery store does not come in more than 2 flavors and without any stuff in it…
Regular ice cream: cookies and cream.

Pralines and Cream has long been a favourite of mine if we are out and buying ice cream for a treat. Anything with that salty, caramel sweet going on has my vote.
Buying for home our favourite is by Chapmans - an Ontario company. They make a salted caramel - they fill the tub with vanilla, and then as it moves down the line (this is how I imagine it) it gets stabbed by a whole bunch of thin tubes that inject the salted caramel into the tub from top to bottom. So instead of a swirl, it is more like sticks c caramel - when you open the tub it looks polka dotted. SO yummy!

My DH was a vice president at a food plant that made flavors for ice cream and yogurt for thirty five years. Some of you have even mentioned some of the flavors they produced! But my favorite is vanilla. I can add things if I’m feeling kind of wild or just eat it plain. But it has to be a good vanilla.

Before my egg, vanilla, and nut allergy my 2 favorites were blueberry cheesecake and chocolate fudge brownie. I can no longer have any due to the above. I now get Outshine bars and my favorite flavor is Pomegranate. Not sweet and not too tart. Just perfect. I LOVE the Outshine Tangerine. Jesus. I'd fall to my knees over them. With the gastroparesis, its refreshing, not boring, and I'm totally obsessed. I go thru 4 or 5 boxes a week.

Current favorite is the mini ice cream cones from Trader Joe's. I like the chocolate, the vanilla and the chocolate chip. They are the perfect size.
I do love, I mean LOVE Ben and Jerry's Phish Food but cutting back on it.

My go to is mint chocolate chip. I also like butter pecan, strawberry, coffee and sherbet.
About 18 years ago while pregnant, Edys made a tropical sherbet that I couldn’t get enough of. I always look but don’t find it. It was so much better than rainbow sherbet.
If I get soft serve then it’s vanilla. If it is DQ then a chocolate dip is a favorite, or the peanut buster parfait. They’ve jacked the price up on that so much that I won’t buy it any more. Strawberry sundaes are good.
McDonald’s had good hot fudge sundaes with nuts. I don’t buy them since there are no nuts.
I’m watching the price in the ninja Creami. Not sure I need another gadget, or if is really enjoy a healthier ice cream high in protein.

My favourites depend on where I am. In Australia/New Zealand it's Boysenberry Ripple. In the US, it's Baskin Robbins Cherry Jubilee. My least favourite is probably strawberry.

I want to come back and read the other threads but for now here is mine:
Friendly's Almond Joy - I have no idea if they still make this as we don't have Friendly's stores here but I used to get it when traveling and still remember how much I loved this.
Dairio's and Kilwin's Smores. Their versions are different but both delicious.
If I buy store bought, I usually just get chocolate these days. I used to get Mayfield's Brown Cow and all kinds of flavors with chocolate, almonds, chocolate chunks, brownie chunks. You see a chocolate theme here. Unfortunately, chunky ice cream is not the best choice if you have TMJ. I've also cut back on the ice cream as a way to reduce cholesterol. I still have a sweet but I just can't control my ice cream consumption at home.

Riveting, indeed!
First off, it must be real ice cream. No soft serve for me, TYVM.
My favorite is chocolate ice cream with peanut butter, hot fudge, and Reese’s cups. I also like a coffee or mocha flavored ice cream.

We've been eating LOTS of ice cream and I've tried many new (to me) flavors. Right now it's a toss up between White Chocolate Raspberry and Salted Caramel Pretzel Path. I just checked my freezer--there are 12 (!) cartons of ice cream in varying flavors in there. But in my defense (really, do I need to defend? I think not-LOL) it's because we bought for a get together held on Sunday and not much got eaten as there was so much other food and dessert there.

Growing up, Blue Bell was the 'splurge' ice cream in the house when it was on sale. It's still my favorite, usually Honemade Vanilla.
When I was a kid, my favorite flavor was peppermint - the type with the little candies in it.
My favorite Baskin-Robbins flavor isn't even ice cream: daiquiri ice. I was one of the many who were upset when they changed it. I still can count on one hand how many times I've been there since they reverted the recipe.
If I go to Marble Slab, I get the Sweet Cream (their base) in a dark chocolate waffle cone/cup with pecans and dark chocolate chips.
My DQ weakness is a Reeces blizzard.
