I bet we can get this one to ten pages with some riveting discussion. Many minds will be changed.
I really only like ice cream with chunks in it - caramel pecan turtle is my favorite. But mint chocolate chip or rocky road will do in a pinch.
Also, I may have to surrender my TXDL for this, but I don't care much for BlueBell ice cream. I like HEB's Creamy Creations better.

coconut. it's not really ice cream but i love Talenti's coconut gelato. such a rich coconut taste with coconut shavings in it. most coconut ice creams i've had tasted like they could have been coconut sunscreen with sugar piled on top. yuck.
my other favorite flavor is pure mango. not mango with peach or some other fruit mixed. just pure mango. this i only buy from the asian market.

I like busy ice cream and I dont seek out ice cream where vanilla is the base. Even when we go to DQ, I ask for choc ice cream for a blizzard or sundae.

Rocky Road is my all time favorite. I also prefer ice cream with stuff in it. My biggest preference is that it is a chocolate base. But I also appreciate a good sherbet or sorbet. I think they are especially refreshing in the heat of the summer. I do not need it to be hot outside to enjoy ice cream, I enjoy it all year long...

Before my egg, vanilla, and nut allergy my 2 favorites were blueberry cheesecake and chocolate fudge brownie.
I can no longer have any due to the above.
I now get Outshine bars and my favorite flavor is Pomegranate. Not sweet and not too tart. Just perfect.

Vanilla. I had friends laugh at me because we went to a Coldstone Creamery ice cream place and everyone picked flavors and additions, etc. I got a plain vanilla cone and really enjoyed it. 😆
Maple would be my next choice.

oooh, i just remembered my 2nd favorite so move over mango. i love UBE (purple taro) flavored ice cream. again, true taro (not that fake Trader Joes stuff). again, I can only buy this at the asian market. although, Yogurtland's taro yogurt is remotely ok in a pinch.

I try to avoid ice cream as it upsets my tummy. But I LOOOOVE chocolate! Blue Bunny has a delicious blend called Moose Tracks! Yummy! Used to consume that a lot when I was younger! Nowadays, I am addicted to Italian Ice.

Cookie Dough
If I can get more specific, I like a little cookie dough, waffle cone pieces and a spot of caramel. I'm not even sure who makes that, if they do.. lol.
Baskin Robins has my VERY favorite.. Quarterback Crunch...
"Vanilla flavored ice cream drops back and scores with rice crunchies in a chocolate flavored coating in this delicious ice cream. And the caramel ribbon is good for the extra point!"

It has to chocolate and the more chocolate the better. Double chocolate, chocolate moose tracks, chocolate peanut butter, chocolate with pieces of chocolate and fudge,,,, You get the idea!

I do love rocky road ice cream and also the cookies and cream blizzards from DQ are yummy!
I read that DQ has a Smores blizzard but I haven't tried it yet.

I'm fussy about ice-cream. Only uses cream/milk. In Ontario, the container will have a blue cow symbol (Dairy Farmers of Ontario).
Kawartha brand is the best. Black Raspberry Thunder and Nanaimo Bar.
Chapman's is also very good. Pistachio & Almond, Strawberry Shortcake, Butter Pecan.
Also, The Keg restaurant has their Billy Miner Ice Cream Cake (mocha ice cream base, swirls of chocolate and caramel sauce, diced almonds and chunks of cookie crumble crust) in ice cream cartons, in a few supermarkets.

We used to live buy a local dairy bar and I loved their blueberry cones. My next favorite is lemon gelato.

I really don't eat much ice cream these days, but when I've spent time in Argentina, it's like a national obsession so we would go almost every night.
My favorite flavors down there were pistachio and dulce de leche. Yum!

Rocky Road from Baskin Robins is my favorite ice cream Also real gelato from Italy. Not the places that sell the big colorful heaps. Those are not the authentic ones. Find a gelato place that keeps the gelato in metal tins. That's the good stuff!

White chocolate, but it’s hard to find.
Pistachio or vanilla bean are close seconds.

It depends on where it's coming from. From the local ice cream shop I tend to get huckleberry cheesecake. From the freezer section of the grocery story it's either coffee/espresso (pairs well with a snickerdoodle cookie!) or rocky road.

There aren't a lot of ice cream flavors I *don't* care for to be honest. lol Ice cream and pie (separately or together) were my dad's weaknesses so we joke that we were blessed with the ice cream gene.
One of my favorites when we're close to Jeni's is Bangkok Peanut. It's a spicy peanut butter. Yum! I bought the Jeni's cookbook, which includes the Bangkok Peanut recipe, and it's just as good as in the store.

I have to tag Zee she will know why I am from Vermont so Maple syrup is in my blood. 😆. Sounds wonderful. I have to admit to putting Maple syrup (that my father made) on vanilla ice cream. I am a hard ice cream fan more so than creemees, but if I am going to have one it is maple. And we have a lot of Maple producers who have great creemees during the summer. Love the maple sugar or granulated maple sugar on top. We also have one place that spreads the inside of their cones with maple cream and the then coats the edge with granulated maple sugar. Give me one of those with a scoop of good vanilla icecream and I am in heaven.

We live pretty close to a store that has 8 different ice cream flavors. They change throughout the week. I won’t get ice cream unless it is a favorite. It is too many calories at my age. I have to love it. I’m willing to try something new if it sounds like something I would love. Lemon Bar ice cream is my current favorite. Key Lime Pie is right up there too. All of the cheesecake flavors are great too. Surprisingly Monster Cookie was a bit of a disappointment.

Nuts are the party poopers of the dessert world - so no nuts in my ice cream. EVER.
If we're talking hard ice cream, I love a good mint chocolate chip; toasted coconut; or something that's called "carnival" at our local ice cream shop - with caramel and sprinkles in it.
If we're talking soft ice cream, give me a vanilla/chocolate twist with rainbow sprinkles or a cherry dip, if they have it.
Oh, man - now I really want ice cream.

Oh so many I refuse to pick one! Maplenut, black cherry, pecan praline, almond joy, key lime...... Maybe this will get this to 10 pages, I do not like mint chocolate chip. It's a fave with all my 5 nieces so birthday parties can be cherry cake with mint chocolate chip, yuk! It's like toothpaste to me.

Dairy Queen - Cookie Jar Blizzard - it was from last year, but I still order it. It's Oreo's & Chocolate Chip Cooke Dough
