Agree! I only like nuts in my dessert if they are the star of the show- like a pecan pie. Otherwise, no nuts!
That's probably why I can't call Rocky Road my favorite ice cream. I love the chocolate and the marshmallows but can't stand the almonds in there.
Nuts are the party poopers of the dessert world - so no nuts in my ice cream. EVER.

Bubblegum! I know a ‘kid’ flavor but I love it! Other top contenders are rocky road, mint chocolate chip and coffee almond fudge. We love Tillamook ice cream or Dreyersㅤᵕ̈

My go-to is cookies and cream, preferably Blue Bell, but I really, really like HEB Creamy Creations Caramel Truffle frozen yogurt. I don't care for sherbert unless it's in punch. haha

I prefer ice cream without chunks.
My favorite which is hard to find anymore is fudge ripple. I also like salted caramel and Dulce De Leche. Or even just plain chocolate. Cookies and Cream is pretty good as the chunks are not hard chunks.
I do love the flavor of butter pecan so I will get that sometimes despite the chunks. Or black cherry.

I don't eat much ice cream lately as I'm trying to lose some weight. Blue Bell is new in my area and I've has the chocolate/vanilla and it was very good. But my favorite is Ben & Jery's Americone Dream - Vanilla Ice Cream with Fudge-Covered Waffle Cone Pieces & a Caramel Swirl. I also like the Halo Top Caramel swirl with a couple choc chips dropped in, but it's just gotten too expensive.

We stopped at Tillamook Creamery in Oregon yesterday on our way down the coast, and I got peanut butter and chocolate. I was also temped by Oregon Cherry though!

Chocolate chip, which I hear Kemps is discontinuing due to low sales. Mint choc chip is a very close second.

Jeni's used to make a peanut and hot pepper ice cream. I loved that so much! They haven't made it the past few years and I desperately miss it. It was originally called Thai Chili but I think they eventually changed the name to peanut something...
My favorite one lately was a coconut ice cream with chocolate and almonds in it. Like an Almond Joy. Hershey makes it and it is fantastic.

Several places around here serve Hershey ice cream so I will have to check it out. (Maybe after my next cholesterol check - ha!)

I am not an ice cream fan. I don’t like the texture. That being said, if I am going to eat it, I want soft vanilla (preferably custard) in a sugar or waffle cone with chocolate dip or jimmies.

I haven't had ice cream in 15 years or more. My absolute faves were Blue Bell Strawberry Banana Split or Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey. Apart from that, my childhood fave was mint chip.

If we're talking hard ice cream, I love a good mint chocolate chip; toasted coconut; or something that's called "carnival" at our local ice cream shop - with caramel and sprinkles in it. If we're talking soft ice cream, give me a vanilla/chocolate twist with rainbow sprinkles or a cherry dip, if they have it. Oh, man - now I really want ice cream. What is your stance on wire hangers?
My dh and you would enjoy dessert together. He likes nuts, but not in dessert. Nothing says YUM or PMS food like chocolate nuts.

My absolute favorite is licorice, but so hard to find where I live. If I could have a double decker of licorice and bubblegum in a waffle cone, I would be in heaven!

I bet we can get this one to ten pages with some riveting discussion. Many minds will be changed. I really only like ice cream with chunks in it - caramel pecan turtle is my favorite. But mint chocolate chip or rocky road will do in a pinch. Also, I may have to surrender my TXDL for this, but I don't care much for BlueBell ice cream. I like HEB's Creamy Creations better. Then I will have to turn mine in as well because I think Creamy Creations is better than Blue Bell too. My favorite flavor is chocolate chip cookie dough.

I am sorry to disagree, but smooth ice cream is where it is at. Vanilla is my fav, alone, or with creamy sauces. Hmmm... dark chocolate, caramel, maybe mix it up with some creme de menthe? If I am going to have chunks in my ice cream, please let them be black cherries.

My favorite is a good old chocolate vanilla twist soft serve with sprinkles. I’m from VT and am a fan of Ben & Jerry’s. I like the peanut butter cup, mint cookie and buzz buzz coffee one.
