And he says women should not be allowed to leave abusive marriages.. I have his book (my sister gave it to me) but I haven't read it yet. I did however watch Hillbilly Elegy on Netflix. I don't know how closely the movie follows the book or his real life, but in the movie, his grandfather was a drunk who beat his grandmother if I remember correctly. I sent a video of him talking about how it's not good for kids when women leave abusive marriages to my sister who is a Trump supporter who told me months ago she thinks Vance would be Trump's VP pick. She also said she thinks he would be a good president someday. Grosss, I know. Anyway, I sent her that video to her and she seemed shocked and said that is disgusting. But I guarantee you, she will vote for Trump/Vance anyway. Even knowing what I have gone through with my husband/divorce. |

Trump is definitely going to get a bump in the poll numbers from the convention, VP pick, dismissal of the documents case and the assassination attempt. Regrettably, Democrats will likely panic and put more pressure on Biden to step aside. i don't think it really matters what the Dems do now. I understand why Dems spoke out to get Biden to step aside but the effort failed and it ended up making things worse. The Dems are very divided the MAGA crowd is enamored and we are screwed. If I had young kids, I would get out of here. it's going to get really bad. |

My comments were related to the attempt to replace all civil servants which would be thousands more then 5,000 and would stop the government from functioning.
