Heard that all the big dogs are pressing Joe Biden to drop out--including Obama.
Plan to run Kamela Harris.
Have the IDIOTS forgotten that this nation is so afraid of females leading that a female won't win. Anyone remember Hillary?
I am so upset I can't function. I am inventing new curse words.

I'm not against voting for a female president, as long as they are qualified. Hillary and Kamela are not IMO.

I don't think Hillary's problem was so much that she was a woman but that she was Hillary Clinton.
Unfortunately, Biden simply isn't going to win. Few have confidence that he has it in him to turn the race around and there is certainly a chance, probably a good one of yet another bad public slip like the debate. The footage of his debate performance would be all the Republicans need for their fall advertising.
I wish he had stepped aside immediately after the debate to give us more time to put together a ticket with Harris still as VP and someone else leading. I'm not sure she has the confidence of voters either but she has a better chance than Biden particularly if she chooses a strong VP.

I voted Hilary and was devastated that she lost gecof the electoral college, I am also furious about all this Biden must step down talk. I truly believe Biden has been doing a good job as president and that he could win. I think if he steps down it will open all sorts of cans of worms and DT will win easily. I want to just sleep until the election is over and if DT wins then let me sleep until he is gone.

I will vote for whoever the Dems run out there. Will they be my ideal candidate? Probably not. But politics isn’t about voting for the ideal candidate. If it was we’d never vote. It’s about voting for the one that won’t rights away from those I love.
I think Harris has as much experience or more than others who have been President.

I saw on NBC Nightly News that Kamala is polling higher than Biden in some polls.

UndertheDeskNews is saying Biden probably won't endorse Harris either so then the delegates put up new candidates.

I'm not against voting for a female president, as long as they are qualified. Hillary and Kamela are not IMO. No one was more qualified to be president than Hillary Clinton. She carried the baggage of being villainized by Republicans for years and a lot of that crap rubbed off on undecideds. I blame James Comey too for his interference at the end. Kamala has served as the VP and a senator of a large state. She is qualified. We aren’t in the position to find a candidate everyone can love. We need to get behind a candidate and stick with them. We need to be willing to talk about why we support them. I firmly believe that conversations we have with others can be highly influential. We have all sorts of women serving in high positions in the government. The Republicans are looking to take women back in time if they win. I think a female candidate fighting to protect the rights of women could be just the thing we need. Abortion has driven voter turnout in a lot of special elections that have resulted in wins for Democratic candidates in places where they usually lose. Michigan and Arizona have female Democratic governors. Wisconsin has Tammy Baldwin for a senator. My state has two female senators. Maybe if Kamala becomes our candidate we can step up for her and be a positive influence on other voters. There is something that feels very right about a female candidate beating Trump.

Newsmax is saying it is a done deal. I am sick to my stomach. I know they are not super reliable, but the fact that this is even being discussed is beyond idiotic.

I'm voting democrat no matter what, but I hope whoever replaces Biden (or becomes the new VP candidate) has a lot of energy and they are not in their 70s.
I kind of feel like we already handed the election to Trump by not considering anyone but Biden months ago...

My concern is not that Kamala is not qualified but many in this country are not ready for a woman President and even less, a woman of color. Kamala is 100x more qualified than TFG ever was.

I agree so many won’t vote for a woman but add in the person of color and they doubly won’t vote for her. I know it’s wrong but that’s the reality unfortunately. Obviously I will vote for the democrat with the greatest chance to win against TFG but it’s looking like it’s going to be handed to him. I hope I’m wrong. I will vote for the person that I think will do the best for the people and that’s not TFG he is out for himself but I am kind of starting to ignore what’s going on except an occasional thread here. It’s just too depressing.

I'm sorry to say the writing is on the wall. How - I don't know. The Democrats need to wake up and smell the coffee. Then spend every waking second finding a pair of people who can win this race.

I don't think Kamala can win an election. She's not white, she's not a dude, and even the moderate people I know hopped right on board the "Joe and the hoe" memes. She is seen as sleeping her way into her positions and not actually being qualified for them. Personally, I don't mind her and could probably pretty happily vote for her, but she does have some very questionable word salad sound bites out there that make her sound like an idiot.

That is absolutely disgusting. I have never heard that nasty phrase. What is wrong with people? Why is it that strong women in powerful positions are always "seen as sleeping her way into" positions? Equally disgusting and degrading. Why do we never hear of men being accused of "sleeping their way" into power, especially the absolutely incompetent ones, but it's always the intelligent, strong women in power who are accused of this. WTF.

You understand she won 5 elections don’t you? Two in San Francisco as DA. Three statewide elections, 2 for DA and 1 for US Senator. So exactly how is that “sleeping her way into her positions?” Do these idiots think she slept with every male that voted for her in the 5 elections she won? Boy this country is going to hell in a hand basket and I’m beginning to think it deserves to.

I agree that Kamala is a tough sell. The one speck of hope I see is that Trump choosing Vance was an idiot move because that is going to alienate all but the most Kool-aid drunk women. Vance's views on abortion and saying women should stay in abusive marriages will alienate less extreme Republican women as well as the rest of the normal female population. I think Team T is so drunk on the prospect of their vision of the future, they did not think strategically and are underestimating the fury of woman having their rights taken away.

We were discussing this and our hope was that they would put forth a new candidate with Harris still as VP. Again, not because we personally would have any issue voting for her, but due to concern that too many others might have an issue voting for her.

I don’t think all of the speculation and comments saying that Biden can’t win are helping the situation. People need to stand behind Biden as long as he is the nominee and those in power need to keep their mouths shut until and unless he steps down.
I also have been getting irritated with the comments such as “a woman can’t win” or “people won’t vote for a woman or person of color” because it is so resolute, like you are pre-determining what people will do without really knowing. Then I read comments saying that Kamala and Hillary aren’t qualified and think people who say others won’t vote for a woman are right. Ugh.

The more they talk about "Biden this, Biden that" the worse they make the whole situation. While Biden stumbled in the debate, he at least gave actual facts. Trump did NOTHING and said absolutely NOTHING of substance.
