Touch wood all seems fine in my little part of the UK. I did have trouble logging into a particular national site but that might have been for any reason and it's working now. Hope you are not stuck for too long.

Our airports are a bit chaotic 😏 Our local GP practise has asked people only to ring in of its urgent because they can’t access their records/database etc. Our biggest local supermarket is only accepting cash due to online difficulties. So yes, a lot of people will be affected in some way or other today across the globe. www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cp4wnrxqlewo

They are showing our airport and all flights are delayed as of now. Our news reports just gave a figure of like 17000 flights affected internationally. It sounds like it is a MS and cybersecurity issue affecting companies/industries world wide. (Airlines, banking, etc). Hope everyone gets through this one as unscathed as possible.

Not yet here on East Coast US I’ve been watching the news since 5 AM here in Western New York and it’s all they’re talking about. Delays in and out of Canada flights canceled, etc.

I got the blue screen of death at work, at about 3:30pm. Then one by one, most of the others lost connection as well. I ended up packing it in at 5pm when I realised we weren't getting our systems back. Airports and supermarkets have been affected. I heard that Netflix was down, which would have ruined my plans for tonight but thankfully there have been no issues with Netflix.

I hope that everyone is starting to recover from this outage. I will say that I would not want to be the team who was responsible for these patches from Crowdstrike and MS. I work for a hospital/health network and we were okay as of midnight when I logged out last night. 🤞that we are not affected but I have not logged in to see yet. What a mess for so many companies and industries.

Some of the programs we use for work are down, others are working fine. Glad I'm not trying to fly today. Our local airport is a mess.

Any company/industry that use vendor maintained software/services will have this. As a health network we use a lot of of companies for different applications or software and if the companies whose software we use or who maintain those systems use MS and Crowdstrike then they may be affected which in turn will affect us. But another application and vendor may not so that application is not affected. However because everything then is ,typically, integrated and interface together there is going to be issues.

Whole family is supposed to fly this afternoon - we'll see if we actually make it. 3 of us have a short hop and will just bail if the widespread outages/delays continue. My son is supposed to connect through Chicago and I can't even imagine what a mess he may face.

Yep. Our 7:45 flight this morning was delayed to 8:30. We’re on board now and I thought we were good to go but the flight attendant just said they don’t have an updated arrival time for us yet.
Flying from Houston to Atlanta so two airports that are normally shitshows anyway. Good times!

Oh, no! It looks like Delta has started flying again through MSP.
THIS is why I insisted my grandson fly out to his mom's wedding Wednesday. He had a hard time understanding that you can't just jump on another flight, because everyone is going to want to do the same.

Flight is cancelled after I just spent 2 hours on a shuttle bus getting to the airport. Airline still hasn’t notified me. It shows as on time on the board but the gate agent says it’s cancelled.😡

My son is in the insurance business, they are completely shut down except email. They can't access policies, etc...

Yes, I can't access my bank account and my work sent out an email that several computers show a Blue Screen of Death. We also can't access several internal programs. This is a mess.

I'm lucky that my company is completely Google so we didn't have any issues. My sister works for a major hospital group and is having a lot of issues this morning. Glad I don't fly until next week!

I have heard stories of issues here, mainly at airports, but I haven't personally been affected. I was able to withdraw money from my bank and pay by card at a few places today, and there were no more problems than usual with our underground trains.

Yes. Our help desk is having to walk us all thru deleting CrowdStrike in order for any employee to get past the blue screen of death. Our call centers are down. Our e-commerce sites were down but we’ve put them I into store and forward mode (you can place orders and all looks normal, but we have to hold them) as our dev teams work to delete CrowdStrike from all the downstream systems and servers that are needed to process online orders.
