I am pissed and I am sad. I think Biden is a good man I think he's been a very good president I'm sick and tired of all this s*** People saying he's declining, he hasn't done anything for us, he's too old, etc. He has done a lot. He righted the ship on COVID, employment is up, insulin prices capped He inherited a s*** show and look at what he has done with his freaking hands tied by the Republicans.
I am pissed. I am 100% fine with Kamala Harris being our president, I think she would make an excellent president, that is not my problem. My problem is is that he was probably forced into this decision way too late. This will only help Trump. Frankly I know a lot of you here say he's too old and I am sick of old white men running. Frankly I am too but you know what it's the old white man who get elected. It sucks but when Trump is the opponent stick with what we know works. He could have beat Trump if the Democrats had gotten their f****** act together and stood behind him and supported him.
I am pissed. I'm seriously going to write Mr Biden a thank you note for everything he has done and all his years of service. I think this frankly sucks.

Well this is a disappointing turn of events. I’ll vote for whoever they put up in his place but damn. ETA: I only think it’s disappointing because of all the money the Dems have already raised that may not go to the eventual candidate if Harris isn’t at the top of the ticket. FWIW, I have no problem at all voting for her, I think she is absolutely qualified and would be a good president.

I think he’s doing what he’s always done - putting America first. I’m sure it was a very hard decision for him to make. He deserves to live out the rest of his days in peace, not under the stress of what others are trying to do to him.
I will vote for whoever we find to fill the Democratic ticket.

I am quite ambivalent about this. I will vote for whatever candidate. They just need to hurry and do it soon so that another month doesn’t go by. It might be Kamala and logically that’s who it should be but she is a woman of color and I know there are those who think she should be in the kitchen making pancakes. I am grateful for his service. I do think that if the republicans could rally around criminal Tr. We could have done the same for Biden. I don’t think our chances are much better now.

I have a lot of mixed feelings. I'm feeling apprehensive but I was really anxious before about the possibility of Trump winning. The uncertainty stresses people out. I'm hoping things become clearer this week, otherwise it will be a long 4 weeks to the convention.

I'm hoping for Harris & Shapiro. I love Pete and wouldn't hesitate to vote for him, but strategically, Shapiro could help deliver PA. And I was really impressed with his speech after the shooting and how he handled the bridge collapse

I don’t belong to either party, I vote for who I think will do the best job. I decided long ago that my vote would go to whoever is running against Trump I don’t care if it’s Voldemort’s head in a jar, I’m still voting for it. I know several other people, like me, who feel the same way. Our only goal right now needs to be to keep Trump out of that White House.

It’s how he got nominated in the first place. If Kamala is the nominee, as I think she will have to be, they will have to pick the most straightlaced, white, good ol’ boy they can find for VP, and it still may not be enough. |

I’m so sad for Biden. He’s a class act. I hope this gives renewed energy to Democratic voters and gets your country back on track.
I was forced to watch the RNC the other night with some American friends and Trump is nothing but a narcissistic clown and a horrible human being. Don’t let him win!!

Dems just handed the election to Trump. He should have dropped out after the debate Why do you say that? I’m always confused when I see things like this… My vote will now go to another Democrat instead of Biden. I’m certainly not going to swap and vote for Trump. totally agree. And blue-leaning people who were saying things like "I'm just not going to vote because I can't vote for him" will vote for Kamala. |
