Beyoncé? There are massive roosters at Tractor Supply. When I discovered them, I laughed so hard. My family thought I had lost the plot.

Recipe for those who aren't familiar.
ITALIAN BEEF
Mix in crock pot: 1 (1.25 oz) envelope dry onion soup mix 1 t. oregano 1 t. red pepper flakes 1 t. basil 1 t. dried parsley 1 large clove garlic, smashed 3/4 cup water Place on mixture: 3 lbs. Roast (rolled beef roast, chuck roast, rump roast)
Cook on high all day, or until meat is tender. Turn it over every now and then if you can. If not, that's okay too! Shred the meat, let it simmer in its own juice for a while, and serve on buns or hard Italian rolls.

The tinned mushrooms for dinner story. i don't know this one!! I believe it was shared on both a regular post as well as on a LO in the gallery. Basically there was a Pea who found themselves suddenly raising their child alone. She had a very low-paying job at the time, and was trying her best to find another. She lived very close by to her parents & maybe one other relative, and some combo of those relatives were helping her with babysitting and with rent, but she was still struggling even just with groceries. So one night she wound up just sautéing some tinned mushrooms and she served them on the best dishes she owned, with little cocktail forks, and used fancy glasses for whatever they were drinking. And they put a blanket down in front of the TV and had their fancy dinner while watching a movie. And she said when she put her child to bed that night, she went and cried for how awful she felt about their situation and how guilty she felt for how things were at the time. So then fast forward and the child is now a teen and one night they were planning to d something special together because they both had time free, and the daughter asked if they could have the living room picnic with the mushrooms and the fancy glasses & forks again. And the mom asked why they wanted that of all things, and the daughter told her it was one of her favorite childhood memories. And of course, that made her mom look at that night so much differently--she viewed it as her failing her child, and her child viewed it as this wonderfully new & different thing they were doing that was special & fun & fancy.

What was the one about someone's son buying and selling game systems and she defended him hoarding systems and selling them on eBaby? She was the same Pea who there was something about a coffee table...same pea who asked about dog's brains. Don't remember her Pea name... I just remember bits and pieces - not enough to tell a whole story!

1. Do you put your shopping cart away
2. Whether or not it's okay to flush a public toilet with your foot

My all time favorite was the dog stole baby Jesus. I do miss Dharma.
Such a long list of wild and crazy threads. Kitten heels, tear bears, stolen craft supplies, the meat blog. And the spectacular hair flips.
2Peas epic threads. Amazing, amusing and leaving many of us speechless since 1999.

Remember Oceangram? A game where you could post messages in a “bottle” and they would float around until they washed up on someone else’s beach. We had some mighty battles with a couple of other groups who all couldn’t work out who or what The Peas were.

Someone once said that she never used lip balm, she just rubber her fingers into the oils and secretions behind her ears and them spread that around on her lips. 🤢
I’m still obviously traumatized by that.

How about the huge fight over those freezer crockpot meals when they came out? It was epic!
Also I was just telling DH about the huge fights there used to be over school supply lists and how we never fight about that now because most of us are in another age in our lives and now the Peas love to send teachers gifts from their wishlist. Full circle!

Did someone say prom gate already? Where the pea’s son didn’t have a date/date cancelled and the peas donated money for one of our younger peas to go to prom with him. Things got weird- I think too much money was collected or something and not all the pea’s expenses for prom were paid but she was trying to keep it quiet and not let it become a thing but it did.

The woman whose husband wanted to host Christmas dinner for his family and she had to work right up until Christmas. He claimed he could do it himself, how hard could it be? She sat on the couch posting play by play posts of all his misadventures.

I always thought it was "Bawk Bawk Mfer!" I saw one the other day, and that's what I said to myself! LOL! Remembering the story, yes, it was most likely Knock Knock MFer!

I remember Beadhound and the thread about her hatred for cops, any and all of them. It didn't go well for her.
What was the one with kids/teens swimming in a Peas pool and one of them pooped on the side of the pool. Is that right? I can't remember exactly what happened anymore.

Oh, my, I am laughing like crazy at the chicken story. Somehow I never read this before, or it didn't stick in my brain.
That is just too funny.
