The 5th flag went up sometime this week. I know 90% of my neighbors are Republicans based on voter information and a lot of this area works in oil and gas so they vote republican, but it still makes me sad.

I live in a city of 27,000 in Ohio. 15 minutes north of Dayton, 1 hour west of Columbus. Where I'm at is Trump country. Flags/signs in yards, on buildings, on vehicles, social media profile pics are of Trump etc.

I think everyone in my neighborhood is maga except us. i don't understand or respect it, but it's their brain and soul, not mine.
BUT, we have an HOA with very strict rules. NO political flags or signs unless it's 30 days before an election.
So the biggest Mr. Maga in the hood puts out a HUGE trump flag and takes it down when the HOA warns him. he waits a week and up it goes again until the next complaint, avoiding a fine. Our HOA board are nice and not looking for a fight with this guy. he does this because his views are special and more important than following the rules and isn't he clever. Just like trump.
I want to complain to the HOA but my husband says to stay out of it and since everyone here is locked and loaded, he's probably right.

I live in a very blue area, and yet, I've also seen several Trump flags/lawn signs go up in the past month or so.
It baffles me.
But.... I also have a couple vocal coworkers that are ride and die Trump supporters. One is an immigrant. The other has health issues, and receives state aid to make ends meet.
I don't understand how they can support a politician who would rather them not exist.

I live in an overwhelmingly Republican area. I have seen almost no Trump flags, signs or anything. None in my neighborhood. Mostly see things on vehicles.

I’m guessing a lot of those people ordered flags and signs after the assassination attempt or after Kamala got into the race. I haven’t noticed a lot of Trump signs or flags. Where I have seen them is at the homes that had them in 2000. We don’t see a ton of presidential signs for either party where I live - mostly local races.

I’m in San Francisco and see very few signs - except a lot of signs for the mayors race.

There were a lot of signs here in 2020 with just a few Biden signs. A couple of people left their Trump signs up. One family painted over Pence in white on their very large sign. So far I've only seen 2 Trump signs which surprises me. I just don't think they have put them out yet.

I don't understand how they can support a politician who would rather them not exist. Either they don't know (seems probable, as MAGAts don't seem to do much research) or they don't care (meaning they're getting something else out of it, like a sense of shared community, the "fun" of "sticking it to the libs," etc.).

A Dump flag went up during the RNC and it is now MIA because you can't have a political sign up until within 45 days of the election. Boo-fucking-hoo. My morning walk is so much better without seeing that eyesore. I think in your case, I'd have to push for a rule "if someone commits the same offense 3 times after having been warned, they are fined XYZ". It doesn't have to be related to a specific offense, it could be leaving trash cans by the street or not cutting their grass.

I don't mind seeing Trump flags and banners. To me, it's like putting out a public notice that says "A moron lives here!" I like knowing where the dummies live.

I’m annoyed by the people who have left them up since 2020. I live in a red area of a blue state. A house on the main road into town has a large wood fence that they keep expanding the number of flags on. A Trump/Vance flag has joined the Trump/Pence 2020 and Trump won flags A house in the neighboring state of Missouri goes all out. The way the major expressway goes by their house, the garage is a little lower. Since 2019, they’ve had lights that spell out Trump and a giant flag across the roof of some sort. Around Feb.2021 a giant ass banner they obviously had custom made stretches across that roof proclaiming Trump won with a bunch of other gobbledygook I can’t read doing expressway speeds. I always check it when I go that way a couple times of month to see if they’ve wasted more of their money After Trump was shot at several of my neighbors but up Trump flags who I’d never noticed had them before. I suspect we’re one of the few Democrats in my little town of 12,000. I’m just lucky large parts of Illinois keep it blue

Thankfully I haven’t seen many Trump signs yet, even with Trump and Vance being in the area last weekend. I even went to the county fair and didn’t see one maga hat or Trump shirt lol. I’m in Iowa now and have seen some flags but not nearly as many as in the past.

I live in a purple state that is pretty much blue, but my neighborhood is primarily Republican if you look at the signs for local government. No one has anything Trump other than one flag (Keep America Great) and one bumper sticker that used to say Trump Pence, but last month he cut off the Pence part.

I’m mostly surprised by the businesses that have them prominently displayed. We have one rabid Trump humper in our immediate neighborhood that managed to get elected for a local office two years ago and I’ve been seeing signs for him popping up in our area. I feel like if someone is willing to vote for that guy, they’re probably voting for Trump too. 😕

I have only seen one. There's one house in my daughter's neighborhood with a sign that says "I'm voting for the FELON". Their yard, porch, and garage are full of crap. All the other homes are neat and clean; and then this one is a hot mess that stands out - so, go figure.

I live in a very notorious red city, that is known for their Trump rallies, and I have not seen nearly as many.
I know my neighbors on all sides of me are MAGA but none have ever put up a flag.

I haven't seen any signs yet but I know they're coming. I live in Texas and I think my area is pretty purple. I need to get my Kamala sign ordered so i can combat the future Trump ones I know are coming.

OMG, I got a whopper of a Trump friendly political email from a sticker company that I previously ordered from a couple times, and promptly deleted my account. Later that week I saw on Threads and X that there was huge blowback for the company for sending out that email with lots of people saying they would never order from that company again.

I cringe when I see them at a business, but I also know it means I won't be doing business there. Yep, if their Etsy or kiosk has that buffoon, I skip it. We have this cool building that used to be a Babies R Us (so you can get an idea of the size) and it's filled with these individual stalls for local business owners. They put their stuff in their set ups, like a flea market, but they don't have to be there. You just grab from all the places and then pay at the register up front and they get their money. Makes my time there shorter if they hang the Felon's photo. IDGAF what they sell, I'm not stopping.
