I spent the afternoon looking for scallop dies on AEX and I had no idea there were so many size/shaped scallop dies in the world. Big scallops, little scallops. I didn't purchase any but I also didnt see any that looked to be the same size/design as Ali's.
Also? I was surprised her Christmas stamps weren't on there that I saw. Maybe they are? I didn't see them.

Good luck with your decision Yeah, it’s in my box. I have zero will power. I am good at selling what I won’t use on eBay, so all the Aussie peas not interested due to postage costs keep a look out as about half of a main kit will be listed as soon as I get it 😇 |

Thank you all for the scallop square die suggestions! I was looking at the hero arts die set myself but can’t find a list of the sizes anywhere. I think my semi-local LSS carries it so I might have to investigate in person. Ali posted a photo in her IG stories of the 4x4 scallop squares next to a ruler and each scallop looked like it was 1cm, but I assume the 2x2s are different.
There was a photo posted that showed the 2x2 tags on the paper with the scallop square boxes and I absolutely need to recreate that with photos. Hence my wild goose chase to find the perfect die. If I find one that is absolutely perfect, I will be sure to share. I might have to wait until I get the product in my eager hands to do a real comparison but I’m just so excited!

I'm just catching up with the thread now. Can't believe it's DD time again! I have avoided looking at all the sneaks because I made the decision not to buy anything this year. I went through all my supplies when I had to clear out my craft room last month to have some painting done and realised I have 2 albums from previous years - not to mention lots of leftover products that need to be used up.
Unfortunately I'm going to have a really busy December at work so need to prep as much as I can beforehand.

I really like the lighter weight. When layering things sometimes all the heavy weight papers and cardstock gets to be too much. These will be handy for some applications. 😊

Prompt pages are sold out - I didn’t get them as the ones I liked I already have or can easily replicate, and I couldn’t read the interview paper and didn’t want to buy it if it didn’t fit my project.
I also wasn’t a fan of any of the 10x8 papers in the pack as I’m not a huge cut apart person

Well, they only did a partial fan-out of the papers, so it was hard to tell what some of them looked like. The biggest surprise was the one where it’s pink with a little red text and grid at the top left corner - you can see it says December. Well, that page is essentially 2 3x8 columns, the pink and then the right side is the same but in green. So, meant to be cut apart. I like that because the scale of the top is nicely aligned for a narrow format. I always love ES stickers! Their hearts are my favorite. Perfect shape. I always grab them - puffy and chipboard - always perfect. I got the Christmas hearts chipboard, chipboard frames, the ledger die cut things, and the paper pack. |

I made the mistake of watching Ali’s video where she stamped on, and decorated the wood veneer stars, and it looked so fun that I caved and bought them. And, since I was placing a second order🙈…I grabbed the 3x8 card set, and the plastic tags. I initially skipped out on both of those because of the quantity, but I think I’ll make an effort this year to sell some of the excess I know I won’t use. I already know there are quite a few pieces in the die cut set I probably wouldn’t use, so we’ll see if I follow through 😂 I need to learn to stop watching her videos! I was happy with what I bought then the next thing I know I was back in there buying the 4x6 album, and some other bits and pieces haha. |

Definitely donated my scallop edge scissor and I'm super bummed about that. I only kept 3 of the deco edge scissors during the great kids craft purge of a few years ago.

Last year I kept adding a little thing here and I think that’s why my box came so late- I had ended up ordering my final thing on like the last day. I watched basically everyone get their box before me. I thought it was lost. Not making that mistake this year! Not planning on ordering again so I will remain a first day orderer. I think AE said there wasn’t a system to who got their boxes first (besides international customers) but my unscientific poll told me otherwise! |

My last AE DD purchase was 2022. I didn't receive it until right before Thanksgiving!! It completely killed my interest/enthusiasm for the project that year. In fact the box(with its contents) is still sitting in the closet where I shoved it.lol I didn't even order last year it turned me off of the project so much. This year I split my order into two. The first is being shipped to my brother in Belgium. He'll repackage it and ship it to me in the states. The second is being posted directly to me in the states. I'm super curious as to which I'll receive first. LOL |

I accidentally added more to my December Daily box today🙊. That darn boxing period gets me every time! I had a couple of things that I couldn’t quit thinking about. I originally decided against the transparency sets, but I decided I really wanted the 6x8 set after all. I also decided I wanted the paint set. All of my paints are dried up, and I decided that I’d grab them at the discounted price this year. I also decided to grab some more 4x6 page protectors. I wish that you could take things out of your box during the boxing period as well. There’s a couple of things that I would have traded out for the new items if given the choice😂
