I love the felt bow, I hope there’s a pack of them being offered.
This year seems a little more whimsical, I think? I see a gingerbread shape in cork.
I was hoping AE would coordinate with Simple Stories Holly Jolly, but it definitely doesn’t. I’ll have to make a choice on which direction and just go with it.

I was just on AE site and there was a sneak of more things - probably from the main kit on the main page as part of an ask to sign up for December daily news. I went ahead and signed up even though I thought I probably already would get the things… then I got another image of the album sneaks! And 10% coupon for my next purchase. The albums appear to be another floral in that Liz design with dark background that we were debating if it’s different. It does look different to me- but also very similar so that’s an interesting choice. Looks like 6x8. There is also a red album with wonky gold stars kind of medium sized. I’d say 6x8 for that too. Then I think the 8x10 album is white background with green trees- reminded me of the print of one of the papers that was sneaked. I liked the tree album best but I’m safe from the albums- which is good as I don’t need one. If an album was going to be in that hohoho colorful print o was buying one anyway! Sorry I can’t insert a pic - I’m sure someone will! I think the floral album is 10 x 8 (whereas before it was 6x8). And then the smaller book with the the floral pattern is the journal. |

So far the only thing I absolutely HATE is that they have punched holes in the 3x8 papers. When they do that, it limits how some of them can be used.

Thanks for posting all the Insta posts, mom ! I've deleted the app for the rest of the summer and the temptation to download it again just for DD sneaks is strong. That's an earlier start for the order period, is it not? I'm liking the look of those albums! |

I am absolutely loving the whimsical feel to the sneaks so far. No darks or blacks. I am leaning towards the red album right now (the trees are cute, but don't see any cordinating product....yet!). I know I want to stay in the 6x8 albums (I still don't like my 10x8 and how it sits on the shelf).

I'm psyched for this year's DD, although I still have to finish last year's! Goals for September, I guess.
AE usually does the Add to Box thing, right? Like, you can place orders for a certain period of time, and then the box ships in October or something? I didn't order anything until November last year, and it was my first time buying official DD stuff - my DD albums in the past, the few I've done, I've just used stuff from my regular scrapbooking stash.

I love everything I've seen so far--the vellum pieces, the classic fonts, and the red album with the stars. I always work in 6X8 for the smaller projects.

Yay! Even though I don't participate a ton in the discussion, I get so much joy from the DD thread. Thanks friends! I'm iffy about the sneaks so far. I like the colors, I actually like the bigger prints...something is just a little bit off for me. I will convert quickly I have no doubt! lol I like the idea blemon had of having more of the AE products will help me keep on task because I can scraplift more. I'm in a similar season of life where I don't have a lot of extra time. I'm also in this weird space emotionally where my youngest is going off to college this year and the grandkid's lives are busier so our celebrating the season will just look different. I need to remove the easy obstacles. I'm *ready* for some December Daily chatter!! |

I have a feeling I’m going to be all in this year with Ali. Really liking what I’m seeing. Last year I really learned a lot about using digital files, I hope to put that to use this year.
The only thing I’m not vibing with are the suppository lights. I love Christmas lights but they seem…bad.

I do not need to buy a whole vellum pack just to get the circles with colour wedges so I can put a gold star on them.
I do NOT need to buy another album but I know if the trees are 6x8 I’ll buy that one and stash it and I’m doing a red themed album this year so the red with gold stars looks like it’s coming home too…

Agreed - I’d prefer them as the 3x8 size with no holes so I can either cut into two 3x4 cards and use them that way (I usually prefer these designs than the ones in the main kit and you get a mix of card and transparency) OR I can add an adhesive strip from citrus twist and put them in the album, again so they are a “true” 3x8 size, or I can use them in the 3x8 page protectors with a super vertical photo…. |

The colours used remind me of Vicki boutin a lot more than the other collections, however, unless I had both in my hands I don’t think that I would be 100% on that. I’m basing it on the fact that the vb Christmas lines tend to include blues, yellows, lime green, dark green, red and pink etc… but as well ALL know not all reds or greens are created equally 😂 |
