I joined the original 2Peas in 2007, though I only posted on the pub board and in the swaps.

November 2002 is when I signed up - pretty sure I lurked for several months first.
so let's call it 22 years. I'm about to turn 54 so...40% give or take. When I joined I only had two kids - 2.5 and 11. I have three now and they are almost 33, 24, and almost 18 now

I think I registered in 2005, so 19 years.
It's close to half my life.

I joined in late 2014 or early 2015. I am ancient, so only 12% of my life, if I did the math properly.

I've been a pea for 43% of my life! I was 29 when I joined with a 4-year-old, not knowing that another baby would be along in the next three years. My life was dramatically different, and now both my kids are adults. WOW!

I don't know why, but that just popped into my head as I was perusing the board, and now I'm curious. I've been a "registered" Pea for over 23 years, though I lurked for probably 9 months before I made an account. Anyhow, that is well over 1/3rd of my life. It also happens to also be the same length of my marriage. My son was 11 when I became a Pea. He is now 34. 34 for heaven's sake! My life was COMPLETELY different 23 years ago. I mean like night and day different. * I started typing out how so, but it just got too wordy! So anyhow, tell us, in terms of your lifetime, how long have you been a Pea? 47% of my life 😳 Registered probably same year as you did. My daughter was a newborn… she starts graduate school next week. Time flies.

About 1/3 of my life I guess. I started off at scrapbook dot com and kept seeing references to the vicious, nasty Peas and got curious I lurked for a while before summoning the courage to join in...and the rest is history as they say

When did the original boards launch? Because I was early there (I had a pretty low member #), although I wasn’t super active. I’m 52 now, so whatever that math works out to. Pretty sure I was getting heavy boxes of paper in my NY apartments, so I am guessing late 90s/early 2000s? I picked up scrapbooking in at a summer internship in New Hampshire and had trouble getting supplies back in NY, is what I remember. So that’s after I was married, but before I had kids and probably before I graduated law school.

I joined ScrapJazz first in 2008, then scrapbook.com, and like gar, kept seeing references to the Peas and wandered over to look. It would have been around 2008 or 9. I enjoyed the drama without posting much until it closed. So 30% of my life. My goodness.

25 yrs (maybe one or two more, not sure), so 36% of my life. I started on the Scrapbook Addict board (found address in a Creating Keepsakes magazine that came with a kit I ordered off QVC).

It was definitely open around fall of 99 because that was the year I started teaching and I posted about it there.

I joined 2 peas a few years after I got married in 1998. One of the first things I started scrapping was my wedding photos using Creative Memories. I then started going to an LSS that I started working for so I'm going to guess it was around 2001 that I found the peas. I'm 57 now so a good chunk of my life has been spent here. I was afraid of the NSBR but I was a lurker. I never posted because man, those women could be brutal!

I think I joined early - either 1999 or 2000 because I remember seeing an ad for 2 Peas in a CK magazine - they were in the back of the magazine and the little add was colored in light green to stand out . I was on there a few years before I had kids - LOL! How crazy is that. So if we go with 2000, then just under half of my life (like 45%ish) - I am 53. That really is something to think about. I really wish we had the old boards to look back as it would be fun to see what kinds of things we were posting over the decades . I was mostly on the SB side and would occasionally lurk on the Pub and NSBR but was definitely intimidated by everyone! I was more of a shopper on 2peas and had several digitals and fonts and then I also looked at the Garden Girls for inspo. Over the years I managed to get a few of the fonts to transfer over from machine to machine, but I lost a ton of the OG fonts that I loved! I wish they would republish the digitals somewhere to buy.
