So have any peas started to decorate for fall and or Halloween yet?
I finished a new embroidery towel for myself and I hung it on the handle of my kitchen cart along with one dh bought me for Mother's Day from Etsy.
I also set out my new Funko Pop Snoopy on the Great Pumpkin with my other Peanuts Funko Pops. Then set out my 2 McDonald's Happy Meal Boo Buckets on the same shelf in my craft space (green monster and purple witch). Hoping they release them again as I'd like the orange pumpkin.
I am doing a good deep cleaning downstairs so I decided to take my Peanuts Halloween figures out and set them up and will hand my banner too on the hutch.
So little things here and there which is making me happy. I put away summer decor last weekend.
Next weekend is when everything else will go up. Well except our inflatables. Those go up after our trees are trimmed. Need to get the exact date. I saw the tree trimmers making marks on specific trees this week.
A few houses around town have their decor out. Kids and I got excited when we saw what they have.
And today we had fall weather! Fog and crisp, cool morning. High is 86°!! Ahhh. Can't wait for it to be 85° and cooler. My AC and Edison bill will be thankful as will my wallet.
So anyone else starting?
Any new fun buys??

Its still Summer in NY. People are away on vacation and we don't go back to school until September 3rd (Catholic school starts on September 9th!) I will start to decorate once my daughter starts her school schedule, so around the 3rd-4th-5th.

Too early still for me ... in about three weeks I will think about it!
I have a gorgeous new wreath for my front door that I can't wait to put up ... I hate the one I have there now ... plan to sell it on FB Marketplace!

I'm ready to decorate for Halloween. I'm over summer. I saw this idea on Pinterest where you turn a doll house into a haunted house. I'm giving it a try. It's a cheap Family Dollar purchase. We'll see. I'm going to Salem in October! I'll definitely bring something back.

I really want to, but no I haven't. Today through Sunday we're having temps in the mid 70s with a breeze. It just FEELS like the start of fall. But we're supposed to be right back to 100 the next week so meh.
I am working on a lot of fall crafts though, that's giving me my fix.

I usually wait until the weekend after Labor Day to decorate for Fall. I keep the basic Fall decor out until I decorate for Christmas, adding in Halloween and Thanksgiving decor around those holidays.

However, I will be starting to purchase new Christmas decor here and there. I've been using the same stuff for the majority of 20+ years. I'm ready for a refresh. I feel pretty good with my fall/Halloween stuff. I'll probably pick up a few new items.

I think in Georgia the trees don't actually wait for it to be cool to turn, they just sort of give up because it's been over 90 degrees every day for three or four months. It's probably the same in Texas!

We're still very much in summer mode. We don't start school until after Labor Day, and everything is still very, very green around here. We have one neighbor who has pumpkins out already, but they are not on my radar yet. I usually start with general fall decor after school starts, then go for full on Halloween the last weekend of September.

finsup 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 We had what felt like the worst heat and humidity of the summer this past week. Seeing inspo photos has been fun, but no way I want to make this house cozy and snuggly!

I've been seeing a lot of cookiers I follow already decorating for Halloween! To each their own. I will decorate for Fall over Labor Day weekend, if I decorate at all this year. I'm on the fence. I've been reorganizing rooms so I may just wait and do Christmas on November 1st.

I am ready for fall! Our weather temps drop this week (from 107 to a cool 90), so I plan on dragging my crap out this week. I would like everything to be put up before we leave for vacation on the 11th.
I haven't bought nothing new --- yet. It's been so miserably hot that I couldn't even think of fall decor. I do know I am not going all out though. Just simple touches.

Nothing. It's the middle of summer now. Halloween is halfway through fall. If we decorate, it would be after Oct 1

It's still summertime!!
Halloween decorations go up October 1st. Halloween decorations come down on November 1st and Fall decor goes up the same day.
We do lots of Halloween decorating at my boyfriend's house -- skeletons and a big graveyard in his front yard, tons of decoration on the front porch and inside the whole house. It's so fun!

I switched out some of my fake greenery for more fall stuff. I also ordered some printable art from Etsy and will switch that out this weekend. I might go into the crawl space to get other fall decor but I’m not feeling like doing a lot right now with our bathroom issues going on.

I love Fall, but the meme spoke to me, finsup! It's definitely still summer here. Although we did harvest 9 pumpkins in July and have about 6 butternut squash that need to be picked. I don't decorate for Halloween anymore, but do have a few fall things on the dining room table and fireplace mantel. I don't put them out until October and they stay through Thanksgiving when Christmas takes over. Our neighborhood has a decent amount of outdoor Halloween decor every year and I haven't seen any of it out yet.

I think I'll probably decorate next weekend. Once September is here, it's officially fall in my book

Yes, my home is fully decorated for Fall inside and outside. I took advantage last weekend and decorated my husband was off for the weekend and I have plans for every weekend in September so it was my only chance to get it done while he was off.

Buy December, I'm oranged out. September is a lot of orange with the fall leaves. October is orange leaves, mums, pumpkins and gourds. November its the oragne pumpkins, gourds, mums, leaves, feathers, etc. So starting in August would put me over the top.

I'll change it when the season changes. I don't get anxious about a season not coming soon enough (except maybe spring). Lots of my decor just moves around a bit when the seasons change.

Just put up all the indoor stuff but it needs something more...I see a trip to TJMaxx in my near future.
Every year I take pics but it never feels "right" the next year when I go to re-create it.

This coming weekend I'll pull out and change what is currently out. September 1st is always my go date for fall decor. October 1st I'll put out some Halloween, which will then come down Nov 1st. But the remainder of my fall will stay up until Thanksgiving weekend when I put up Christmas.

I'm not ready yet. I wait until October 1st. I did see the 7 foot Costco Werewolf being rolled out of the store on one of the orange carts the other day and it made me want one. LOL!
