Nothing has tempted me yet from the daily releases. Still waiting for some irresistible stamp sets with stencils.... Fingers crossed. And if there aren't any, hurray to me for not buying!
That said, I did buy the 3 part large snowflake stencil set that they released in their beginning of the month release. I did not buy the coordinating die or stamps. It's due to arrive today and I'm looking forward to playing with it.

To be fair, SSS charges a premium on their dies because they're manufactured in the US. HA does not generally -- theirs are typically made in China and cost a little less. I believe that these collabs use SSS manufacturing, so it makes sense to me that they cost more than the "name's" usual products.

Also, while scrolling back I see that Shakti does not like the grip mat in her (faux) Misti. I want to say that I like the grip mat. I have one in my misti, and a second I use when ink blending. Clearly it's a YMMV thing!

I find it difficult. I can never remember which side is the top. As far as I’ve been able to find, the only way to figure it out is to watch the video again. I have trouble getting it my GISTI evenly because it’s almost too sticky on the bottom. WF’s solution is to leave a grid acetate under the center, but I’ve never been able to get that to work either; I can’t get it aligned correctly for love or money! I'm confused by this? As far as I know there is no top/bottom or back/front of a WF grip mat. I use mine however it ends up in my hands. Are we talking about 2 different things? ETA: also, does your faux Misti not have a grid embedded into the bottom of it?

My GISTI has the grid in the bottom.
The WF grip mat as an edge I would describe as "beveled" -- the profile of the side/edge is slanted and the surface area of the top and bottom surfaces of the mat are slightly different. The WF videos definitely demonstrate which side is "supposed" to be up vs. down when you insert it into a stamping tool.

It's a very prevalent thing in the PNW. I guess it doesn't translate well outside of here? They make a stencil that is a huge bigfoot foot print, that's currently out of stock at SSS. I would very much like that.

I would very much like that. It's more appealing than a sasquatch release (was it at SSS or elsewhere?) I saw last year. Wish I had saved the link to the product. By saying it's more appealing, I mean for others. It's not for me If you ever get your hands on the stencil, I hope you'll consider making this PNW girl a card with it!

All I can say about Stamptember so far is I’m glad the releases are at noon. I’d hate to think that I would have stayed up until midnight for what’s come out so far.

This is the first year I've paid any attention to Stamptember. What I'm enjoying the most is stalking the SALE category. SSS seems to put things in there randomly and for super cheap. That has been fun! Well, I followed your lead and since the Bigfoot stamps did not do it for me I decided to shop the sale catagory and picked up some cute stamps and dies at a very reasonable price. I was trying to hold out until I found a Stamptember colab that I really liked, but since we got to the 10th and I haven't truly loved any of them, I was worried that the sale stuff that I did really like would sell out and did not want to wait any longer.

I love the Bigfoot set, my son is really into cryptids so I know he'd love a card with it.
I know there's the free shipping promo, but is there any other code I should add? I feel like I'm missing something.

This Calls for Confetti did the Sasquatch release, too. I snatched that baby right up, lol. I'm so happy to see products that the teenage boys and young adults I know will like. I got the Bigfoot foot print, too, it's super fun!

Pinkfresh today. Beautiful! But I don't need it....
BTW, I know I am something of an oaf or klutz in many ways...I am sure that most people love/will love their WF grip mats. I happen to prefer Altenew's and am hoping that the new SSS one is more like that.

I’m a big fan of PinkFresh and was really looking forward to their release but since it doesn’t have a stencil it’s a pass for me.

I've decided I own enough PF for now so I'll pass on today's offering. Shakti I read somewhere else that someone preferred their Altenew mat to the WF one, too - maybe on FB? So, you're not alone.

I like the Pinkfresh one, but I'm very surprised that there is no stencil with it. I think its a mistake.

I liked the PF stamps and I am glad there were dies that went with the sentiments too, but the lack of a stencil threw me off. That is a lot of detail coloring with no stencil, and PF is big on the stencils, so a bit off for them. Looking forward to tomorrow! That is a great thing about Stamptember, if one day is a pass, there is always tomorrow. And the sale catagory!

Today’s set from the Greeting Farm. It’s cute if you’re into Halloween which I’m not. Honestly, I think I’ve become so spoiled by layering dies and stencils that when I see sets like this that require a lot of coloring I pass. I can handle a little coloring just not that much.

My job allows me the flexibility to check every day, but every day I forget to check. So far nothing for me. I agree the trick or treaters are cute, but I don't do people images.

I was tempted today but I don’t do a lot of hallowed so I passed. It’s cute but I’d probably only use it once or twice. I did get the lawn fawn set when it was released. So far that lawn fawn is all I’ve purchased. Waiting for Tim holtz and altenew

Gina K and another 3-fer (stamps, image dies, sentiment dies). Very pretty scene-building set with kinda delicate font. I’ll pass….

I’m not a fan of silhouette stamps, which is why I didn’t own any GinaK sets, so another no thanks from me. Can’t wait to see the Altenew set. $39.97 for stamps, dies and stencils, based on what we’ve seen so far that’s a bargain.

Don't know why half the manufactures think we need stamps that are only good for a small part of the year. Nothing for me so far.
