Just me being mean. lol (and disappointed yet again) I swear if TH does Christmas tomorrow or Halloween or even a single freaking snowflake I will not be responsible for what comes out of my mouth in the privacy of my craft room! I think the last several years have been Christmas or Halloween. Has he ever done one that wasn't Halloween or Christmas? Last year had the reindeer wreath with lights and the ugly sweater. I know there was a year with an old fashioned santa. There was a year with some crazy halloween cats? Trying to remember |

So, what do you think of it? I was really looking forward to Tim's release but this one is not for me. I was hoping for a scary Hallowe'en stamp or something unusual. I feel like I've already seen these stamps pretty much everywhere. I wish he would get back to the type of designs he was using about 5 or 6 years ago. More grungy? More unusual? Less cutesy. I feel like everyone is doing cutesy now and I'm officially bored by it. I mean, he had a definite style and now I feel like it's all over the place. Maybe it's just me. |

If you have the WF postage collage product suite, the TH set would work really well with them. I did ponder purchasing, but I'm not a fan of coloring so that was enough to dissuade me. I will keep to things I can stencil in lieu of coloring.

I never liked cutesy, but I never liked TH's hipster grunge thing, either.
I think I can count on one hand the exclusives that were NOT Christmas, Halloween or floral!

On a positive note, I had money set aside for Tim's Stamptember and now I still have it in case the Stamper's Anonymous release is amazing which I hope it is but now I'm worried it will be cutesy.

I considered sending them an email to let them know of my lack of fondness for sooooo many holiday stamps, because surely they have some influence. But then I thought of what has been mentioned here in the past, that these companies are not going to put out their better product because they can do that for themselves where they could sell an unlimited amount of sets rather than just the one and done for September. |

I loved loved the Tim Holtz stamptember set. I am so glad it sold out before I was tempted to buy. I just cannot afford almost $70. I'm sad prices are so high for some companies!!
