I am over torn jeans. Especially torn skinny jeans. Just wear shorts. Just wear jeans. I have never liked torn jeans especially the ones that show all of the thighs.

I don't mind the hole(s) at the knees as much as the ones you described. I saw an add where the top part is a skirt, I think? And there's strips that hold up the bottom half of the jean legs. I really hope that doesn't take off as must have style!
I'm so over the wearing of pjs and slippers to shop at stores. If you want to shop in PJs, use an app and have it delivered or pick up.

I think the slightly torn jeans wouldn't bother me so much if the holes/fraying were in a spot where it might actually occur.
At the end of last winter, I busted a hole thru the knee of my favorite jeans. I think I'm going to go with it.

My mom has natural holes in her favorite jeans. She doesn't like to wear them out of the house anymore, but I tell her she is in style now.

I don’t like wide legged jeans or high waist jeans. I really don’t like the barrel legged jeans I’ve seen too.

Although this isn't practical for normal people, i really hate all these red carpet photos of celebrities without any pants.
Denim maxi skirts can also disappear.
I wish contouring would go away. I'm not talking about a regular application of bronzer. I'm talking changing-the-shape-of-your-face contouring.

Lack of cashiers in stores.
Eyebrows that look like they were drawn on with an extra wide sharpie marker. It's hard not to stare at crazy eyebrows.

I don’t like wide legged jeans or high waist jeans. I really don’t like the barrel legged jeans I’ve seen too. I actually tried on a faux leather pair of the barrel leg pants last winter at a stylist’s recommendation. I’m 5’3.5” and a size 2 or 4. I was so shocked to find that they looked good on me, but to me they aren’t a trend, but a fad that I think will pass fast! I did not purchase them but was tempted. I really hate the whole torn jeans thing and will not and never have purchased a pair. Not a fan of the white crew socks with athletic wear thing. And yes, I know that by not embracing it, I’m aging myself. Lol. But anyone can look at me and see I’ve been there/done that a couple of decades ago

I saw some videos where people who had them suddenly realized they were 'eyebrow blind' ... lol They were making these huge dark eyebrows, because that was the trend, but then realizing they actually look pretty awful. Sames for the big feathery eyebrows. I am not a fan of face metal. Big nose rings, especially bull rings. A light small one on the side isn't so bad. I really don't like the studs in the cheeks and above the lips. But... in the end - to each his/her own!

I’m not saying 5’3” unless my dr measures me at that height at 3 annual physical appts in a row 😆

Giant eyelashes and the weird, thick drawn-on eyebrows.
I also dont understand the 400 layers of different makeup products to make your face look like a mannequin rather than a person. 🤷🏼♀️
And none of these things would bother me if I werent seeing them EVERYWHERE. Very few people actually look good with any or all of those things.

I've been hearing the word "demure" on a lot of stories on instagram. It drives me nuts. A couple years ago it was "cozy". Everyone was using it. blech!!

Last weekend in rural western Wisconsin, we were at a bar on a popular lake. There was a woman sitting next to my husband and her eyelashes were way too thick and curved all the way up to her eyebrows. I almost laughed out loud. It just looked strange especially since her hair was on the thinner side.

generally I'm not one to follow trends or really care about them on others but I do wish guys would stop wearing their jeans/shorts belted a foot or more below their boxers - SO tired of seeing that look

Since you asked, I'll repeat the housing trends that I have already mentioned countless times. I dislike all white and gray interiors. To me, they just are way too reminiscent of either an office cubicle, or, if entirely white, then an operating room. If it was just the walls, you could easily repaint, but it's often the flooring, and all cabinets and countertops as well. I also dislike when people take an old house and rip out a whole bunch of walls either to make a new floor plan or to create an open floorplan. I get it--some people cannot afford a newer house, and so they buy what they can and change it. But when people take down walls in old houses they also take down any features they held--like built-ins, original doors, original trim, etc. And every time that happens we further shrink the pool of old homes that still have those original features. And that makes me sad. There are plenty of 60s forward ranch and split level homes that are nothing more than a basic rectangle with no other distinguishing features whatsoever that went up all over the country in droves. I wish people could get their hands on those and change them instead. Or if they are changing the layout in an old house, then they likely (in my area, anyway) are taking down lath & plaster & replacing it with dry wall (and often basic dry wall in terms of the many, many flips happening around here), which is such a poor substitute in terms of fire-resistance, natural insulation, and mold/moisture control.

I’m in Seattle, get out often enough…to nice places where folks put their *best face forward* and very rarely see the whole overdone makeup thing (thankfully).

I just want to be able to buy a full shirt. This made me laugh. Being short, some of the mildly cropped tops work for me, but not the really cropped ones. The thing that looks so funny to me are the cropped jackets. I’m not talking “short coats.” I’m talking things like a classic trench coat, that is cropped (cut off), not resized and rethought to be shorter. Or a classic pea coat, cropped. Those are the ones where I’m like, “I’d like some more fabric please.” Eta: here’s an example after a quick Google search: Cropped pea coat

I don't like the cropped shirt with mom jeans (high waisted.)
I also don't like athletes in shorts that are so short they look like underwear.

Gigantic eyelashes that look like a colony of butterflies is resting on your eye lid and will help you take off.
Super long nails covered in bulky items.
Those sunglasses that are huge and rectangular and have no frame. WTF!

I agree with making old homes look "modern" by making them bland gray and white, removing all the original personality instead of restoring because it's easier to flip them this way. Now, I do love the gray and white in my own house built in 2018. There was nothing to save and restore and I like the blank slate which I have added lots of color to with rugs, pillows, accents, and artwork. Quirky things along with what my kids call Things Moms Crave (lol). To me it's kind of like a gallery that I can do anything with and not feel guilty about!
