Other than Elle's Studio, is there anyone else that has or is likely to release physical journalling cards for Halloween documenting? Studio Calico are out this year. Heidi Swapp and Ali Edwards don't include cards in their kits. Who else am I missing?

Sometimes scrapbook.com does little paper packs for seasons or themes. I picked up a couple of disney ones last year. They might have something.

I wonder if they’ll do a Christmas release.

missbellejane If you're ok with printing your own cards, I'm guessing Citrus Twist, In a Creative Bubble, Paislee Press, Elif Sahin and other small designers will be releasing their own mini collections. It's definitely a shrinking pool of product, alas. Has anyone heard re: Halloween from Prima Marketing? I see only the Christmas stuff. And Frank Garcia is only promoting his Christmas line with them on social media. I'm guessing they're out of the Halloween game this year? ETA: Spanish brand Mintopía is releasing a two-parter for autumn (half of the collection is generic autumn, the other half is Halloween), Moka y Boo. They've started to show Moka but I'm still waiting for the Boo sneaks to appear. If anyone, like me, is looking for doggy Halloween stuff, this looks promising. https://www.instagram.com/mintopia_studio/p/C_f6FPKIyrf

Stephen King fans, rejoice (or weep if you hate his book adaptations), HBO Max dropped the trailer for Salem's Lot:
I know what I'm watching the first week of October...

Scrapbook.com are releasing very cute spooky critter die sets for Halloween (Willow Lane line), available as a bundle or individual sets. Currently marked at 9.99 per individual set but not yet in stock. The paper pad from this line is very cute, too:

I want to do this, but I get overwhelmed by all the possibilities! I'm going to Salem Mass. in October as well as Boston. I'm definitely low on my Halloween themed stuff. I feel like it's finally time to throw out a lot of the scraps. I'm thinking I'll get some random black, white, and classic orange pattern papers I can mix with my older products. I will probably avoid buying stickers and diecuts from a lot of lines that have lots of words. It's not HALLOWEEN day OR TRICK OR TREATING that I want. Or sayings like "too cute to spook!", because I have plenty! I like the vintage theme of
I like some of this line
I have some good metal dies, a few stamps, and my Cricut Expression and cartridges are still working.
Soooooo........ Is it possible to find a cohesive line for Boston AND Salem? I'm quite ADHD when it comes to my purchases. Or maybe just make the days distinctive?
ETA: I did find some fun vintage Halloween stickers on AliExpress

refugeepea One of my favourite Halloween paper sources are the DCWV stacks. I know joblackford shares my love for these. They are rhe unsung heroes of spooky documenting. These are difficult to find outside of the US but luckily, that's not your case. 😉 Many big box craft stores carry them. The paper quality is thick and lush, too (even under the AC umbrella). From years past, I remember loving their alternative Halloween stacks called Floral Frights, Witches' Brew, Halloween Spirit, Ghost Stories (which I own and absolutely adore) and Curiosities (probably too old to hunt down nowadays, alas - a regretful non-purchase for me). The stacks often have papers with border strips and cut-apart elements. If you already own a decent stash of alpha stickers, dies and left-overs from years past, this might be worth looking into if you have a Hobby Lobby, Walmart, Joanns', etc. nearby, have a look. 👀👻🕸️

It was one of my favorites! Also, my daughter and I saw Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. It's not October, but I feel it deserves a mention!

sleepingbooty wish they had individual sheets. I really like the light grey with darker grey stars paper and orange with stars and ghosts paper.

It had been so long since I had seen the first one, the only thing I remembered was the "Day-Oh" scene. I didn't have any expectations. I figured it would be weird because...Tim Burton. I thought it was fine. I LOVE Catherine O'Hara.

I thought I saw a similar line to the Willow Lane one from sb.com, and it was at the expo, Keep It Simple scrapbook has some of the same characters/graphics in its halloween line. Some kind of open market type thing? keepitsimplepapercrafts.com/collections/haunted-halloweenI was intrigued by the fox (as I am all fox things) but don't need another line. I also love the DCWV halloween stacks - Haunted Harvest is a fav, as well as Tombstones & Bones. I am apprehensive on the Beetlejuice sequel, I loved the first one. I don't like to ruin it. But I do enjoy Jenna Ortega, so will prob see it at some point.

You ladies are adding to the meh pile re: Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Several of my friends went to see this one last weekend and all agreed that it's fine watching at home when it streams, not worth the price of the cinema ticket. A little saddened to read this but not surprised.

Eep, Hallmark has a Halloween movie again this year! It's called Haunted Wedding and features Janel Parrish from Pretty Little Liars. Sounds like a comedic take on the Corpse Bride and I'm here for it! Premieres October 12. Synopsis: "The wedding between ghost hunters Jane and Brian at a haunted inn is disrupted by Angelique — a ghost who mistakes Brian for her own dead fiancé. 👻 Starring Janel Parrish and Dominic Sherwood."

There's a sneak from a Halloween collection from a Spanish brand that has a very Wednesday-like trick-or-treater...

I 100% was not going to do an October Daily album this year (I did one last year), but today I'm 80% sure I am going to make one. I have plenty of supplies, even an album and page protectors.

I popped in Joann's last week and was sad to see not very much DCWV available anymore. It's mostly been replaced by their brand Park & Lane. Is DCWV going away? I see most of it is sold out on American Crafts website, and clearance or low inventory on the other shopping sites... I feel myself ready to go panic buy at Joanns!

I don't actually think they've released anything new for at least the last year or so? They certainly had no new Halloween or Christmas lines released last year, and it's looking like the same again this year. It will be such a shame if AC has chosen to shut this brand down because it always been such a staple product purchase for me (and many others I'm sure).

Happy October 1st, ladies!
It is a glorious, sunshine-filled morning in my corner of the world. I hope the season treats you as well wherever you are. ☀️👻
Re: DCWV, I think they're out of the rotation at AC. I am catching up on scrappy news for the year and learnt yesterday that AC released several AC-branded paper pads and brpught back Pink Paislee (in a different aesthetic than before, alas 😭) and Pebbles. I think they've put away DCWV - at least for now.

Both my parents are having surgery in October, and DD has about five orthodontist appointments... not the greatest stuff to be documenting. I also haven't finished last year's album. I might finish up last years album or just do a few pages for this year... Maybe not as lighthearted, but a great Day In The Life version!
